Took in a suit to be altered and cleaned. I'm a bit of a weird fit (very short), so nothing ever…read morefits great. The tailor, Travis, did an amazing job listening to my wants and needs for the fit. Suit came back clean, sharp, and fitting perfectly! Staff also was kind and helpful!

I had a yellow suit jacket that needed to be dry cleaned. I sent it in Lloyds on April 9. After I…read morepicked it up and took it home, I noticed one of the front buttons had gone missing. I called Lloyds and the staff told me they could either find the missing button or find new matching ones, and that I should bring it to their location to take a look. We went there on the next weekday on April 15. A staff member met us and said they will sew the button on if they could find it. If not, we would be contacted of any action beforehand. We waited one week, but never received any notification. So we called them the next Monday (April 22). Surprisingly, they told us over the phone that the buttons had already been replaced, even though they had left a note saying to notify us first. After me and my daughter arrived, we found out both buttons were replaced - and they did NOT match the suit at all (See pictures). The best word I could associate with it was "silly". The staff themselves said that the tailor had done a terrible job. They told us since our piece of clothing was cleaned at their place, they would be responsible for any costs present. But this time, they suggested that we give the tailor, named Travis, a call before he changed the buttons by ourselves. The next day my daughter called him first. Afterwards she gave me a call and I could tell by her shaky voice that soemthing was wrong. I asked what happened, and she said Travis had acted ridiculous over the phone and his voice gave a purposeful sense of hooliganism. I then called Travis, and confirmed just how unprofessional and insolent he was. I must say I've never encountered such an ill-mannered person before. Besides his poor attitude and peculiar tone, he was also being unreasonable. He never listened to anything we said, he only forced us to take in his three opinions. First, he states it wasn't his fault, because we dry cleaned the suit at the Golden ave location, and he works at the Sunshine St location. The issue had nothing to do with him. Even the staff couldn't believe what he said, since all clothing that needed tailoring was sent to the Sunshine st location. Second, when we talked about why he didn't even let us know before replacing the buttons and acted on his accord, he stated things like "...So?" and "What do you want me to do?". He clearly did not look at the attached note to call us before any action was taken. He kept his tone very dismissive and careless. Third, a tailor should portray professionalism and know what can go with what. Travis does not portray that skill at all. He said the buttons looked great and matched so well with the suit. Besides that, he placed the buttons in an awkward diagonal position. Travis was being very unreasonable and he started acting up himself, and later hung up. I still tried to come to a resolution with them, so we tried to contact the manager and file a complaint. The following day, I talked with the manager and found that was not possible either. The above highlights my nightmarish experience with Lloyd's dry cleaners. It is most definitely the last time I do business with them. This is not something so simple as a "button problem". This whole terrible experience demonstrates their lack of quality service, managment, and commitment. Had they been honest with me and told me that they weren't able to find a proper match, I would have handled the situation myself and actually find the right buttons with a real tailor (Which is what I am doing now.) It looks like they don't know this jacket wasn't cheap and that they shouldn't have treated it in such a manner. As a single customer, my impact likely won't be huge. But I hope that those who read this review will avoid falling into the same bottomless pit I did. I've finished my part; the decision is yours to make. Pictures 1&2: the suit's model/design. Pros: they got an old apple juice stain out of my daughters dress…read more Cons: Customer service SEVERELY lacking. The dress was returned with a long picked thread! I noticed it upon pickup (12/15/2025) and was told that the owner would contact me. I paid and left. The owner never contacted me. After several phone calls, I finally got a claims form in my email. I responded the same day (2/10/2026) and have yet to hear back. I have made many more phone calls. There is no manager. The employees can't help with problems. Calls and emails are not returned. I regret sending my daughter's dress here and will never return. (3/24/2026)

Ruined my $250 satin Mother's of the Bride Dress…read more I bought the dress in mid-October for my daughter's wedding and after wearing it took it to Tiger Cleaners at Peachtree Plaza on November 14th. The gown is satin and labeled Dry Clean Only, so I used their drive-through drop-off. On November 19th, I went inside to claim the dress and inspect it before paying. I was shocked to find that the gown now has at least ten visible snags, runs, and pulled threads across the dress and satin fabric is not repairable. None of this damage was present when I dropped it off. I refused to accept the dress until I spoke with the owner. The owner, Mr. Li, called me the next day. He offered to waive the cleaning fee and give me a twenty-dollar store credit. He also claimed that his staff saw no issues while handling the gown and said there is no proof the damage did not already exist. I explained that if several employees handled the dress and said they saw nothing wrong, yet I discovered significant damage before taking it home, their own statements suggest the damage occurred under their care. Tiger Cleaners promotes that they have one hundred years of experience, and the text they send when they check in your garments reads, "Thank you for trusting Tiger Cleaners with the careful cleaning of your clothes and household items." I still have the ticket, the drop-off confirmation, and the text telling me the dress was ready. (For now on I will video tape my item inside the store at the time of drop off and ask the employee to confirm the condition of the item at drop off). Despite the evidence, Mr Li says he will not replace it or provide fair compensation. I said that I would take him to Small Claims Court. He says he welcomes seeing me there.
