I arrived and noticed the bakery was fully stocked with every kind of Mexican bread and also they sell tortas. I decided to have a torta cubana instead of a tamal. While the guy cooked my food I started grabbing some bread to take home. The first one I grabbed was soft but then I went to grab a different kind and it hard as a rock. I checked every bread I was going to grab and they where hard. This bread is not fresh and not even a day old. This bread has to have a couple days since it has been sitting. I had grabbed a couple breads so I had to purchase them as soon as I got out the place I threw them out. I get to work to eat my lunch and the torta has a weird smell so I opened it up and it was rotten onion and tomato with dark brown aguacate. Then the ham or whatever it is had a layer of grease. I didn't eat it. I wasted close to 30 bucks for this horrible food. I don't recommend buying anything here. The place was super clean and had a bunch of employees but how are you going to be serving this rotten food and hard bread. Whoever owns this place has to see what's going on here because maybe your going to loose customers and if you are happy with what your selling it's super sad and this business ain't for you.

I have the Cinnamon Kookie Butter Chai Latte and it was delicious, sad they don't offer it in a bigger size cup. Lol. But it's a must try if you are unsure what to get. Situated just off of Rt 30 / Lincoln Highway in Cresthill IL on the side of the road it's a little red house with a decent sized parking lot. Super cute and way cozy. I always notice the patio that folks sit on early mornings and decided it was time. Upon entering I had three super friendly women say hello to me. It's larger than it looks with seating inside in nice booths and really well decorated. It's also very clean and customers keep rolling in on way to work. The staff is awesome and the women I spoke to informed me that they've been there about 5 years and that all the pastures are made in house. These are not average d eryday pastries they are luxurious treats beautifully created at a reasonable price. The in house bakers need a huge shout out along with the entire staff. Their coffee is really good too, string but not at all overwhelming. Actually excellent stop. I'm sure they will be seeing more of me. You really gotta try this place and I'm sure you'll return.
