The appointment was going normally, with some pushy behavior from Sarah, but it was brushed off. However, once Sarah discovered my sister had purchased a dress at the previous appointment, she approached our suite and said "so I know we have another dress, I wanted to find out if you were serious about this appointment". The unprofessional behavior on top of the lack of integrity was the deal breaker. I cannot speak on the other attendants, but Sarah lacked empathy and intentionality. Her immediate response to my sister having purchased another dress was evidence of her perspective, that clients are only treated with as much respect as they are willing to spend.

They only take so many appointments at one time so it's very personal and not a mad house compared to other popular bridal shops. As someone who gets overwhelmed easily this was such a relief. My associate Riley was such an angel, I could tell she really cared about my experience and made me feel heard and helped me articulate different things about the dresses to narrow down what I did or didn't like. She and the other associate who popped in occasionally (I didn't catch her name, but she was so wonderful to) really helped me get into dresses and made sure they looked right on me, and as a plus size bride with fewer options typically, they really did a wonderful job. They made me feel like I belonged and was deserving of a great experience and beautiful gown which meant a lot to me. They ran around pulling gowns, showing me skirts and using fabric to change the color - it was really cool and fun! I am so glad we went with this shop and they should be proud of how they train their employees, they were genuinely so so kind, caring, and knowledgeable. I can't thank them enough, and would absolutely recommend this shop to anyone looking for a truly individual, private, and well rounded shopping experience.

We tried on a few dresses and found one I really liked! I wasnt sure I would find "the one" so quickly so we went to a few other stores, and ended up coming back at the end of the day to order the dress! They took my measurements and recommended that I order the dress custom cut from the designer, which was a great suggestion (less work altering the dress). I received the dress a few months later and set out to have it altered. Once that was done, I took the dress back to Maggi Bridal were they steamed at no cost to me.

I question the methods of the alterations team as the dress was altered totally wrong and it lost the a-line shape of the skirt and ended up TOO TIGHTand the owner who told me I should have been more vocal during my SIX FITTINGS (despite sending multiple emails, begging for changes, and leaving the salon CRYING), it still wasn't enough. Now she says I'm just complaining to get money. The best thing for me would be for no other bride to go through the stress and gaslighting I suffered through this process. AVOID Lana Addison and the sister store Alexia's unless you are very thin, rich, and extremely vocal about your opinion. The nice, slightly bigger girls just get their wallets emptied and their concerns swept under the rug.

I narrowed down my bridesmaid dress shopping to a few Jenny Yoo dresses. I called ahead to make sure the styles were in stock to try, and they all were! It was easy to make an appointment a couple of days ahead of time. When I arrived, Skylar already had the styles I mentioned pulled up, as well as a couple of JY dresses in other styles to try for size. They will likely not have the color and size of the dress you want. They have the dresses in large sizes like 10-14, and will clip you into them. And you'll look at colors in another style. You'll order the exact dress through them at the end. The fitting was an hour, but mine ran to 1.5 hours including ordering the dress. Skylar was easy to talk to and patient. She said the made to order dresses take 14 weeks, and helped me narrow down options that were my size and ready to ship instead. They honored a coupon code from Jenny Yoo online, so it would not be more expensive to order through them. The dress arrived within 5 days since it was a ready to ship dress. I measured between sizes, and the dress was too big with minor defects (multipe chiffon strings hanging). Bella Bridesmaids immediately contacted Jenny Yoo, coordinated a return of the dress, and a new dress was immediately shipped within 1-2 days. The new dress is a better fit and didn't have the minor defects, so I'm glad I decided to get a new dress for that reason too. As an aside, Jenny Yoo's dresses are higher quality than bridesmaid dresses I've seen before, for the original price of $300.

Larisa is absolutely amazing!…read more I had my wedding dress altered elsewhere, and the other tailor had made a mistake that made the dress truly unwearable, such that the boning above the bust area was hovering inches above my actual body. After many tears, I called the bridal shop where I originally bought the dress, and they told me, "if any anyone can fix it, it's Larisa." Man, were they right! When I came out of the dressing room to show her the dress, she sighed, gave me a big hug, and told me she'd do what she could. Two weeks later, she handed my dress back to me, and it was as good as new! She'd managed to take the boning out and stitch the lace back together in such a way that the seams were invisible. Throughout the process, she was warm and communicative. Especially for tricky jobs, I can't recommend her highly enough.

I booked Larissa with hopes that she'd be able to help me with my bridesmaid dress from Revelry for…read morea wedding in May. The dress I ordered was way too big and needed the bust, waist and some length taken off on the bottom. Once I got there and put on the dress, she pinched the side of the dress with just her fingers, asked me where else I wanted it to get taken in, then went to write up an estimate. She didn't pin it, she didn't take chalk to the bottom to know how much to alter too. When she came back she said it would be too expensive. I asked her what the price would be, because that wasn't very clear. She said it would cost $310 to alter everything. I asked her how much it would be to keep the length and just take the sides and bust, she replied " well how are you going to walk?". I figured I would be able to take the length myself and have her take in the rest, as it's only a french seem at the bottom of the dress. However, I was a little taken back by the comment and decided to find another place to get my alterations done as her step price seemed a little too steep for me. The next day I booked an alterations at Nordstrom,and they quoted me $110 dollars for everything I asked for from Larisa. I have no doubt that Larissa is very skilled however, I feel like the price for alterations was a little too steep in my opinion for a bridesmaid dress.
