They're all patient, skilled, and genuinely kind. I go in fairly often for tailoring and repairs, and they are always welcoming and willing to listen carefully while I figure out exactly what I want done. Today really stood out. I brought back a pair of pants that had been hemmed and looked great, but just didn't feel comfortable when I wore them. I was worried I was asking too much since I'd already been in a few times about these pants, but Ping couldn't have been more understanding. She insisted on letting them back out while I was there, even though it was near closing time. She also noticed a jacket I had and tightened the buttons on that too--again, on the spot. She was so kind, accommodating, and generous with her time, and she wouldn't even let me pay. That level of care and customer service is rare. Ping truly stands behind her work and wants her customers to be comfortable and happy. If you're looking for expert tailoring with exceptional service, Lee's Tailors is the place. I walked in and she greeted me with a smile so I asked her if she could replace the zipper for me and while i stood there she pulled out a little box with many pull tabs and she proceeded to replace the pull tab and the zipper stop on the other side. It took her all of 5 minutes to fix my jacket with a pair of pliers and BEST OF ALL, I asked her how much I owed her for the repair and she graciously smiled at me and replied to me, "NO CHARGE"! WHO DOES THAT ANYMORE?! THAT is what GREAT Customer Service is ALL ABOUT!! She has gained a returning customer if we ever need to have another article of clothing tailored or repaired! She told me that replacing the entire zipper would have cost me $35.00 so in this crazy horrible economy, I appreciated her saving me the $35.00! That's a half-tank of gas nowadays! My dress came out beautiful and I am so excited to wear it in just a few weeks! I also used Lori to alter my grandmother's wedding dress. It's a delicate dress that was a bit small on me. We added panels, removed the sleeves, cut the length of the dress, and added some beautiful gathering in the waist to create an ankle-length gown with a boat neck style. I had used Skylark for a couple of years as they WERE a great taylor but now I will never use them…read moreagain or send friends to their business as I had done for so long. Here was my experience. I had 3 pairs of jeans hemmed at Skylark at a price point of about $30 a jean. A total of $90 is what I spent. I took one pair out of town and realized that they were still too long and so therefore, I could not wear them. All three pairs were still too long on me. When I was finally able to go back to their shop, the owner said that she would not do anything to correct them as it had been passed 15 days. Of course I did not know that there was a 15 day period! She tells me that it is written on the back of the little card they give you to pick up the items. When I told her that I wasn't told this when I brought my jeans in she said it was on the back of that card. Well, I didn't know I was supposed to read the back of the card for information! Also, why put it on the back of that card instead of also telling your customers?? Obviously, they don't want to tell the customers but then use this as an excuse not to fix their work. I asked her if she would fix the jeans as a one time courtesy since now, I know about the policy. She said again that I should have read the back of the card. Then said, "no". I would have to pay again to have the jeans altered which again were not done properly the first time. I would have to pay another $30 a pair which would add up to a total of $180 ($90 I paid the first time plus another $90). I am beyond disappointed. I understand this is their business and they can do what they want BUT when you have regular customers supporting your business and this is the way you treat them, I can no longer support it as it's clear you don't want nor appreciate my business. I will definitely not recommend Skylar anymore. What a shame.

Fine, I assume it's going to be a really nice experience and that it would be worth the fee. I was very wrong. This was my best friend's third and final shop to try on dresses at and by far the worst experience. The appointment was in total 20 minutes. We were told we could look around and pick, or the stylist could pick. After asking a few questions we chose the stylist choosing them since she knows the inventory best. Well she chose mostly styles that weren't quite the vibe we were going for which was totally not her fault, so I went to look since the bride really wanted to try some things more within her style. I was told very rudely by someone at the front that I needed to go back to my "suite" because other people are trying things on. First off, there was literally nobody there at that time and I was not even close to other people. Secondly, there's a way to say something. Third, another group of girls was fully standing in our "suite" while my best friend was trying on dresses. So that's hilarious. Also the space is extremely small. So calling them suites is a joke. We drove an hour away for a 20 minute appt. It seemed like the stylist found out my friend lived in another state and had found a dress she really liked elsewhere and really tried to rush us out. Overall an extremely awkward and quick experience which is so disappointing. Would absolutely not recommend this place. Wish I could get my 25 bucks back.

She truly listened to what I liked and disliked about different dresses to help curate a selection of dresses to try on. She kept the appointment flowing smoothly and adapted quickly as I came to realize what I actually wanted in a wedding dress. She was incredibly personable and easy to talk to and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process.
