Whoever booked me clearly could have cared less. It became pretty clear early on that the stylist was not comfortable with bangs or working with wavy hair, or honestly hair in general and things went in the wrong direction quickly. I showed a photo of full, blended curtain bangs and said I always wear my hair styled and curled. Instead, my hair was parted straight down the middle and cut bluntly across, it honestly started to look like a bowl cut. At one point another stylist had to step in, which made me think it might be fixable, but it definitely wasn't. It made me question the level of experience overall. Even the more senior stylist made a comment along the lines of "I always cut bangs shorter because they grow back quickly," which was frustrating to hear. You don't know how someone's hair grows and she obviously didn't care how I prefer to wear it, and that kind of assumption is exactly how you end up with a result like this. What was hardest was the insincere compliments and being told it "looked like the picture," when it definitely didn't. I was in the chair for almost two hours, and it just kept getting worse. I ended up leaving mid-cut because I was honestly in tears and couldn't keep going. To their credit, they didn't charge me, but I would have paid money to have not had this happen. It's pretty devastating, especially going into my birthday weekend. I felt like I communicated really clearly upfront, which is why this was so disappointing. I just wish more care had been taken to match me with someone who actually had experience with what I was asking for, I'm just not confident that person exists at this salon. I'm just hoping I spare someone else.

I put in the notes for someone to please give me a call with her prices as they didn't show up online. Someone calls me back a couple days before my booking to confirm my appt, but nothing about pricing. They never read the notes. Then, someone calls me again the day before my appt trying to confirm it for 11:45am. So, I call back to let them know that's incorrect but it goes to voicemail and I leave a message. Day of my appt, I'm called 2 hrs before my appt not to confirm my appt is at 12pm (nope they never returned my call) but to tell me my stylist is sick and can't do my appt. Not very professional in my opinion considering they want 48hrs notice or they charge you. I understand life happens, but we all have lives with things happening. Maybe be more lenient on your cancellation policy if you can't uphold it yourself. Now, I'm frustrated as they have poor communication, get details wrong, and cancel last minute with no comparable options and no other offer to remedy this. So, they cancelled my appt less than 2hrs before my reservation. Which is ironic considering they make it very clear on their website that they will charge your card (that you have to give in order to book your time) if you decide you need to cancel within 48hrs. On top of that, they offered to reschedule me with a level 1 stylist that specializes in color and long haircuts. Not comparable AT ALL to what I originally had booked. Then they tried to book me with the same sick stylist the next morning....so you couldn't give me more than 2hrs heads up that she was sick but you're betting that she'll be all fine to cut my hair less than 24hrs from now? Nope, not risking it as I've already had to rearrange all my plans because I work a lot and this was the only day off I could do. Very disappointed in how this all went down from start to finish and would not recommend booking here. Wish I would've booked literally anywhere else as they did nothing to help other than offer me the same sick stylist who'd probably just cancel again or a stylist who isn't specialized for what I needed.

I would post a picture of the damage but unsurprisingly they've disabled that option for reviews. I recently came in and had a hairstylist "forget" to put barrier cream on my skin before applying permanent black dye to my hair. Not sure how that happens as it is such a basic yet important step. Well she ended up getting a crazy amount of dye all over my forehead. I asked her to please wipe it off because I don't wear foundation and can't just cover it up. Throughout the appointment she is wiping and wiping and irritating my skin & it was just not coming off. I was being a really good sport about it but inside I was getting really stressed out. Come time to pay, i wanted to ask to "talk to the manager" but i honestly just didn't want to be "that person" when I ABSOLUTELY should've made a fuss. The manager, Bre, could see the problem but obviously wasn't going to address it so I asked her hey umm, how long is this going to stay stained like this? She said it would be gone in the morning and starts giving me little "tips and tricks" to make it go away instead of apologizing and acknowledging that it should've never happened in the first place. I definitely should've received a discount or something, or AT LEAST an apology. Instead I paid full price, left a generous tip, and left feeling gaslit. As soon as I got home and looked in the mirror I could see the extent of the damage - that lady obviously knew she lying to my face when she said it'd gone by the morning. I called back frustrated the next day during the afternoon stating that it hasn't faded at all and that I have to go into work like this. I asked for a refund even if just a partial because this is unacceptable. Bre then doubles down giving me ideas on how to remove this and I said I shouldn't have to be dealing with this in the first place. She explains that she did have a talk with the stylist after I left about remembering to use barrier cream - meaning, SHE DID SEE THAT THERE WAS AN ISSUE, SHE JUST CHOSE TO NOT TO ADDRESS IT OR MAKE IT RIGHT WITH ME. She had the chance to make it right and she chose not to. She told me that next time I come in they'll remember to use barrier cream.. as if I would ever trust this place to do my hair this place again. It is now 3 days later and I still have traces of dye on my forehead. I know they're going to reply mentioning that they a $25 coupon towards next or (many hours after our phone call) to have me come in so they can try to wipe it some more but I'm not spending any more my time or money here.
