Thee best sushi!! I always order three rolls and each one is made to perfection. The rice, sushi grade tuna, salmon, all of it. 10 out of 10. My hats off to the chef. They never disappoint.

The to go food area

Jenkinson's Pavilion is a mix of a restaurant, bar, tiki bar, and to go food. During the summer, the vibe is a mix of casual bathing suit wearing beach goers coming off the beach to people dressed ready to go out if you get there later at night. My family all 10 of us, went for the dinner before the Thursday night fireworks. As a side note, Jenks always has events going on during the summer months and often during the holidays during the off season. Anyway, we ate outside on the side patio. Service was fast and the server got all our orders correct. While I don't have any complaints about the food, it also wasn't great. We got a few sushi rolls and they all tasted the same. I also ordered the Mahi-mahi and it was a little under cooked for my liking. No one at the table had any complaints but also nothing overly positive to say either. Besides the restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating, there is at least two inside bars, a small little dessert and coffee stand, and a few stands for ordering to go food. There is also seating inside and outside to eat the to go food. In the back there is a tiki bar and lots of seating. Although I haven't been there for a Saturday or Friday night I'm sure that the bar scene is goos. There were lots of advertisements for weekly entertainment and there was plenty of room for dancing. The bathrooms are really nice. There is an attendant there that will stop you if you look like you're coming right off the beach and carrying a bunch of stuff. It seemed like people were trying to change out of their bathing suits, which she would point them to a public bath room locate outside the pavilion to change in. Overall, you're not going to Jenks for amazing food, you're going because it's on the beach and the arcade and rides are nearby. Go for the vibes not the food and have a good time! Parking during the summer is around $10-25.

After a beach day we decided to grab some food and drinks.. where better to go than Jenkinsons. First time eating here. We sat outside because it was a nice day out. I ordered a Voodoo Punch rum bucket which was exactly what I was looking for. Cruzan coconut, pineapple, banana and citrus rum mixed with pineapple and cranberry juice. Then, as if that wasn't enough.. it's topped with 151. Get it and thank me later. We ordered wings to start... then ended up ordering another plate because they were fire. My girl ordered the crab dip to start but to her surprise... she doesn't even like crab dip. She's done this like twice before idk what she thinks is going to be different. I liked it but just keep in mind it's like $33. I ordered the Southwestern Taco Salad which was really good. I couldn't finish and even tho I knew the shell wouldn't last in a Togo box I couldn't resist. My girl had the beach body tacos (nothing special here) and her friend built a burger. All in all it was a nice meal and experience but there are better beach spots for food.

Peel n' eat shrimp, large U10-12 at $3 each - not a bad deal at all!

Stopped in last Friday on this rainy, chilly and deserted boardwalk with low expectations but was pleasantly surprised with some really nice peel n' eat shrimp as well as a helping of some very tasty onion rings. Along with $3 draft beers, I was a happy camper. Just maybe crummy days are the best time to go to Jenk's bars on the PPB boardwalk scene.

Too much plastic.
Alexandra R.

While the food and service are good. The excessive use of plastic is a turnoff. I left the aquarium where they have reduce and reuse everywhere. Only to have dinner just across the boardwalk afacility under the same name of Jenkinson's and be given paper plates wrapped plastic knife and fork and drinks served in plastic w straws.

$40 for 2 slices of pizza, a burger, fries, and a soda. Unreal, what a rip off

$40 for 2 slices of pizza, a burger, fries and a soda. What a ripoff. I want to support the local businesses but when they rip people off like this, I don't feel bad over Hurricane Sandy and Covid.

I must of went on the right night because they truly deserved nothing less then a five star. This restaurant is located right on the boardwalk. Therefore they do not have a private lot. I parked across the street in a municipal lot. $3 an hour. As you walk in you will find a buffet dining area. Walk towards the back left and you will find a host. At 6:30pm we were quickly sat. Undecided if we wanted to sit outside or inside; the host was awesome and sat us at a table that centered us between being indoors and out. Our waitress Michelle was awesome! She was very attentive with our table along with her other tables. For $48 we had Buffalo sliders, chicken quesadillas, a glass of wine, two chicken & fries kids meal (spend $20 get 50% of a kids meal), two kids drinks, two frisbees, two passes to the Jenkinson's aquarium (pay one adult get one kid free). I was rather impressed with the sliders! Chicken was fried just right and placed on fresh buns. Yum! They also have character dining 5-7pm on Fridays. As we ate we had the restaurant mascot and a PJ Mask character walk around greeting kids. Kids love it! I recommend going on a Friday evening then walking right next door for a movie on the beach.

Mahi mahi tacos

There are many different areas of Jenks to rate, but I'll start with the basics and what I go here for. If you are looking for a spot to sit on the beach with access to a full bar, this is your spot. If you are looking for a family oriented and relaxing spot to hang out on the beach - keep looking! There are plenty of bar options, as the place is huge. There's an outdoor bar, and many inside. The drink options are pretty good as well. They make their own homemade orange juice, so the vodka/OJ is very refreshing. I also enjoy the jenks arnold Palmer. As for the food, they are the basic-middle of the road bar/casual restaurant food. The one item I strongly suggest are the mahi mahi tacos. It comes with two (an extra few $ you can add guacamole) and a large side of chips. The nachos are also very good and great for a good table share. To get access to the beach, it's $9 for adults on the weekdays and $10 on the weekends. Great spot if you want to have cocktails and sit on your beach chair.

There is a to go area, bathroom, and then indoor seating area. They have merchandise behind the register. Started with the tuna nachos and crab rangoon mozzarella sticks. Tuna was good quality and had a good coating of sesame seeds. My perfect bite was tuna, orange sauce, seaweed, tomato, & onion. The chips were perfectly crispy. The crab rangoon was surprisingly good. This appetizer is what made me pick this place. Such a good combination. Didn't need the marinera sauce. Next up soups. Lobster bisque was ok. I guess I was expecting it to be a little more rich. But it was good, it tasted exactly like lobster and I got good chunks in the soup too. Now the shrimp and corn chowder was super flavorful. Favorite dish of the meal. For mains, cold lobster roll and two tails w butter and side salad. Side salad was well dressed and I appreciate the ribbons of Parmesan. The lobster was mostly cooked right. There was one that was a bit chewy. Added salt and butter but felt like something was missing still. I couldn't find a good combo of toppings to go with the lobster. The cold lobster roll was alright. The potato bread added a good sweet flavor that complimented the lobster. Overall a decent meal.

We started with chowder, one Manhattan and one New England- both fantastic. Two appetizers- the fried clam strips and the tuna tartare sushi - another win/win! For the entrees we took one from the specials, a blackened Mahi Mahi with lemon mashed potatoes and green beans which was sublime. For the other we tried a lobster taco that came with a choice of salad or hand cut fries. We went the fry route. They were great. Notes: it's a small place, they do not take reservations so you will wait for a table, however, they will text you when it's ready. They do sell wine or byob - your choice. They have a fish market and their own fishing boats and are proud to serve their own caught fish. This seems to be a local favorite in the Point Pleasant area. It will be crowded- it will be worth the wait. Come comfortable, it's laid back and it's all about enjoying really good seafood!

The one day I went for a glass of wine and it was quite nice, so the next day I decided to go back. Was enjoying myself with a few glasses of red wine, and the thin-crust pizza. A group of young men wearing the same T-shirts walked in, and there was a middle-aged gentleman to my right, admiring the waitress, Sid. There was also a guy who said it was his first day, Cliford, and he pointed out his name was spelled with one "f." I had short, what I considered, "congenial" conversations with both of them. Suddenly, for apparently no reason, I get escorted out by the police for what they called racist statements! They also accused me of not paying the bill, which I left money on the bar at all times. Mind you, my short conversations had nothing to do with race at all. To make a long story short, the police come and escort me out and to the police station! From there, I ended up at the Ocean Hospital, where a small, smelly lady watched over me all night. I ended up having to take an Uber back to my hotel room. No one cared to ask whether I had any kind of medical condition that required medicine. In sum, I believe this restaurant has something to hide. I suggest never stepping foot in this place ever! Also, it may be racist.

What a great dinner…read more.. We decided to drive up to Point Pleasant for our last dinner of the long weekend and point Lobster Bar & Grill was the choice. When we arrived at about 5:40pm the place was packed so it took a few minutes for us to get seated, but no biggie because we didn't make a reservation (if you're here in the beach season, it's a MUST). We got seated in the bar area, but it was right by the window so it was a fantastic seat. Only down side was there was a guy playing music right next to us, but he wasn't super loud so it was fine. Our server, Matthew, was over fairly quickly to take our drink orders. Wifey ordered a Ruby Spritz and I had the French Pear. Both were delicious. For our appetizers my wife started with baked clams and I ordered the Drunk and Angry clams (steamers with lager and cherry peppers) and like the drinks, both were excellent. I was really happy with mine as the level of spiciness was perfect. We also ordered two white sangrias with dinner. Server suggested getting a pitcher if we were going to have more to a one, but we had a bit of a drive and didn't want to chance it. Great job on his part. My wife ordered the Crab Stuffed Flounder - very rich and tasty, but two plates of stuffed food was a little too much. I ordered the Pistachio Crusted Halibut special with jasmine rice, bok choy, and a lemon sauce. WOW it was great. The halibut was ever so slightly overcooked, maybe 60 seconds, but the FLAVOR was amazing. I love bok choy so this dish was a home run. We were too full for dessert, so that was it. We really loved this place and our server, Matthew, was great - friendly and engaging. I would 100% return and try another entree here.

They have lots of umbrellaed outdoor seating, and some benches in the sun, so there are options for everyone. They also have some indoor seating, and the inside is adorable. We ordered a swiss grilled cheese with tomato on top, and a BLT. Each item came with pickles and a bag of chips. Each item was priced reasonably, especially considering typical Jersey Shore pricing. My grilled cheese was great. The bread/cheese/tomato ratio was perfect. The cheese was gooey, and stayed gooey even as the sandwich cooled. The bread on the grilled cheese was crispy on the outside and still soft and warm on the inside. I didn't know what to expect from a small shack on the beach, especially with something as simple as a grilled cheese, but I really enjoyed it.
