What a fun time at Jeneane's. went here for my sisters birthday because it's her favorite place in Macon and it was NOT a disappointment. I loved lt!!

Monday's Menu: they have a different menu each day

Friendly staff, down home country style atmosphere, southern food. We were traveling through town to Atlanta and I was looking for some good ole southern cooking. Unfortunately, the butter beans were canned beans warmed up. The mac n cheese was a miss for my 13 year old who couldn't even finish it. The okra was fabulous and I didn't mind the tomato gravy but it would be good to know that is how they serve it for visitors. I'm pretty sure the mashed potatoes were boxed/powder potatoes. Unfortunately, all the way through dessert it was less stellar than we expected and had hoped for.

I miss good ol country cookin. The menu changes daily. You get a choice from a couple of meats and a variety of vegetables. We came in close to closing time, so they had a lot of things that were out. I would've loved to try the strawberry pretzel salad. It sounded interesting. I got the fried pork chops with mashed potatoes and greens. It was amazing. The pork chop was awesome and full of flavor. The sides were good. It hit the spot after a long day of driving. I wish I was able to try one of their pies or banana pudding, but they were out. I would come back to Macon just to eat here!!

This place is amazing! I have been so many times and never had a bad experience. The food is so quick and fresh, and takes less than 5 minutes. All of the servers are very kind, and the food is great. My favorite is the Macaroni Salad. They accidentally gave me Mac & Cheese instead, but fixed it very quickly. I do think it's a little weird how they have a different menu every day of the week, though. My only complaint is that they should serve Beef Tips and Rice and Macaroni Salad Daily! I love Jeneane's. Banana pudding is heavenly. Highly recommended.

Nice meat and three restaurant! Service was kind. Wish they had fountain drinks but that's a minor complaint. Great southern food!

They had some good choices. The saw shee I don't need but they are always delicious just to put that out there. So I've been seeing these skins when I come. No I have never thought to try them. I got 2 plain ones off the bar as I would inquire about the bags of BBQ at the front upon leaving. The nice young lady said they were brought this morning. I believe that, but my problem is I don't feel they were freshly cooked skins. Both skins the plain on the bar and the bbq which I purchased upon leaving were chewy as hell. The BBQ seasoning was so good. But I can't get down with stale skins. I need some crunch. My dad was one of the best pitmasters there was. I know when the skin came off that hog and it wasn't crisp to throw it in the oven. It crisp right on up for a skin sammich. But you might be lucky and catch some on a good day so I won't say don't try them but for me this was my one time experience. One & Done!

My family and I decided to order to go this time and we were so displeased. The egg fu yung was full of more onions than egg, the shrimp fried rice had WAY less shrimp than previous ones and the combination platter was disappointing. Due to improper packaging, the prawns and egg rolls were soggy from the teriyaki sauce that was for another appetizer. I forgot the name of the young man I spoke with when I called (2/21 @ 6:06pm), but he was rude and condescending. I no longer live in Macon but my family and friends do. I have and will continue to share this negative experience with them. Getting bad food is understandable, maybe it was an off day. I did not call to request a refund, I was merely calling to express concern. Being rude and nonchalant is not the way to retain customers. Do better Mandarin Garden!

Waited about 15 mins to be seated and it seemed there was 2 servers and 1 chef. The menu they give you is outdated and doesn't reflect their website menu, they do have everything on their website but weird they don't show it. Server was all over and not super attentive but got the job done enough. Chef was friendly. The food was average the salad didn't have the classic ginger dressing which was weird and for the classic fried rice everything was uncharged. At the end we ended up having to grab our own boxes and had to ask 4 separate times for to go sauces.
