All is good. The people in charge are so good. Amenities super esp the water walking area to strengthen my legs. I had polio as a kid (before immunizations). Now I have "post polio sequelae". (Weak muscles). There are 3 pools, one is heated. I work out daily and can tell my legs are stronger!! It's ok. As a visitor, and comparing to other Jellystone parks we've been to, this one is blah. The Jellystone in Tyler and Burleson IMO are way better. Way more activities and more frequent activities. This is basically a property managed RV park with about 150 or so long term families. It's not bad, but compared to the other Jellystones we've been to it's definitely not in par not as fun. The staff is friendly and the multiple pools are nice change of pace. read more

This afternoon, my husband and I were enjoying the lazy river at Jellystone. It was very quiet. A few families came and went. At one point, a woman with a couple of children came and sat down at one of the tables by the lazy river. I don't know what was said, but the mother slapped the girl on the cheek. The other girl said that man (referring to my husband) saw you do that. The girls and the woman stayed for a while and then went off to look for someone. They came back and spent a little time at the lazy river. The mother sat on the steps to the lazy river and vaped. Clear signs are posted that say no smoking or vaping. Eventually, they left, leaving a messy table area full of trash from all the food and drinks. A breeze blew a couple chip bags into the lazy river. Not what I enjoy finding while I'm trying to relax. It's not only children who can be disruptive and irresponsible. In this case, it was the adult. While lifeguarding does not have to be part of the lazy river experience; management needs to monitor and stroll through these areas at least every half an hour. And shortly after this event, another event occurred. A very loud group of people came through the gate. A very drunk mother holding a glass Smirnoff vodka drink bottle was trying to climb on a husband or boyfriend's back because she was so drunk she couldn't walk. Several children were with them, and several other adults followed. They were making their way to one of the poolside tables of the lazy river. All of a sudden, there was a loud crash and the cooler that one gentleman was carrying fell to the ground, and the lid opened up. Glass bottles of beer and vodka drinks along with ice spilled out and broke all over the deck of the lazy river. Broken brown and white glass bottles were near the edge of the lazy river. Someone slipped on the mess and there was blood. They were rapidly trying to clean it all up while they laughed and giggled. Anytime there are clear glass shards, it's very possible that some may have landed in the water. It is impossible to say that no shards are in the water. We made a phone call to try to report the incident to the Jellystone head office. No one answered the phone so we left a message. As we left, we waved down a RV resort worker who went into action immediately. We went to the other pool to get away from the situation. We knew that going into the lazy river with a possibility of glass shards was not something we wanted to experience. We hoped that the RV park would close the lazy river immediately. Most recommendations say that the pool or water area needs to be drained and vacuumed and cleaned. Then it can be refilled with water and reopen to the public for use. Anyone with questions can call Jellystone and ask if that preventative measure was accomplished. I'm not sure that the lazy river was ever shut down. We drove by a couple hours later and there were still people in the exact same area where the ice chest had been dropped. It makes my stomach turn to think that the same scenario could've happened anytime in the past. I don't know what we were floating in. I'm hoping it was a safe, lazy river. ?? So again, I say, management needs to stroll and observe all of these pool areas at least every 15 minutes to every 30 minutes. Again, the adults were at fault. The children were not being managed or watched in anyway. The rules of the pool and the RV park were being broken. Anyone with questions should call Jellystone RV Park and ask if the lazy river is safe to use. By the way, the obnoxious family was removed from the lazy river, I guess. They ended up at the other regular swimming pool. We called the RV main office again to report that they were drinking out of glass bottles at that pool. I don't know what happened to them. Evidently they weren't escorted off the premises after the fiasco at the lazy river. read more

After 21 years in the Marines, my family and I are traveling full-time in our RV. We booked a 14-day stay at Jellystone Park Austin North (about $600) expecting a family-friendly, professional experience -- but it was the worst of our Texas stays. The short-term sites are steeply sloped, making it nearly impossible to level a Class A RV safely. When we asked to move, staff refused, saying level sites were only for "long-term guests," even though the park was half-empty in the off-season. Their only alternative was to pay over $1,000+ plus deposit and $250 for electricity to book monthly. We left and moved to Juniper Ridge RV Park nearby -- level sites, friendly staff, $650/month. Unfortunate to spend Veterans Day packing up because of poor customer service. If you're a family traveling or a veteran like me, I'd look elsewhere. read more

Staff is very friendly and park is well kept. Love the garbage service and the pool is amazing. The lots are generous in size, so you don't feel cramped. We've stayed at many places over the years and think this one is top notch. I know we Texans don't like being told what to do, but when you live in an RV community, there need to be rules. We had an absolutely awesome time at Stone Oak, the staff was super nice and even gave my kids some chocolate and the dogs we ended up not bringing some bones! I was only planning on staying two nights but it got pretty cold down to 16 degrees and I stayed for a whole week. The long term stayers are so nice, they invited us to a game on Wednesday and my kid had the best time making friends around our parking spot. This place is very clean, modern, and had all the amenities you could want for a reasonable price. The internet was a bit spotty and that's my only complaint since I do work on the road. We stayed here for a few nights and the grounds are beautiful. The park was about 75% full, but it didn't feel busy at all. Location: This is such a great spot to be if you want to be close to a lot of different places. You're 1.5 hours from Waco, 35 min from Austin, 1 hour from Inks Lake and 50 min from Dripping Springs. It's a good spot to stay a while and explore a new area each day. Community Center: was great! We loved the pool table, gym, private baths, laundry area, cornhole, playground, and natural gas grills. Everything was super clean and there were hand sanitizer bottles everywhere you looked. There were also others using the outdoor pool, but the temps were in the 70's, so we weren't that brave. The gym had everything you could need (including free weights, foam rollers, and kettlebells) as well as a rowing machine, treadmills, stationary bikes, and an elliptical. Wifi: This is the ONLY reason I couldn't give it 5 stars. WiFi is important for us who work on the road, but I also understand if places just don't have it. The problem here was that we called ahead and were told they had "lightning fast WiFi", when in reality, they did not. We could connect to it, but not actually watch, stream, upload, or download anything. We speed tested it in several spots all over the park (thinking it might be better in another area) and they were all the same - 1.0mbps download speed and upload was nonexistent. read more

This is our second winter here and I'm shocked at the negative reviews that have been posted. We can honestly say we've always been treated well, and we've never seen signs of bad behavior by guests or staff. But I have to go on a rant about their WiFi. There is none even tho their website states hi-speed WiFi included. The onsite staff seems greatly bothered by this, but apparently corporate is not. You MUST plan on your own accessibility (and additional expense) because you do not want to rely on theirs. This is the only thing that makes me give them 4 stars, otherwise we are very happy here! read more

Beautiful RV resort in Hill Country with so many options for restaurants, distilleries and wineries nearby! Very close to Georgetown and not a bad drive to Austin or Marble Falls. Easy in and out. There's a small market and the customer service is amazing. They escort you to your site. RV sites are level and very spacious with concrete pads, a nice patio and some grass. Amenities are very nice! A heated pool, beautiful clubhouse, large laundry room (you can pay and run the machines from an app on your phone), huge grassy dog park, pickle ball courts and they are working on a dog wash! They even have a few covered RV sites and tiny homes for rent! It's a very quiet, extremely clean and well managed park! We truly enjoyed our stay and will return! read more

Everything was fine other than the construction noise behind. If the park only gave us the option to move from the fence line.

We came in Nov 14th and I will agree that they are still working on construction of the main Recreation center along with the pool. The bathroom are now finished and the Laundry room is open and free. The park is really well laid out and plenty of room. The kids play area is also complete and they should have the courts in soon. What I love the most are the people. Always friendly and ready to help you. They are now bringing in Gourmet Food Trucks weekly and the food has been terrific. I had Italian the other day. Wifi seems to work well and they dealt with the water pressure problem. It seems like if they have a problem with something, they address it asap. We are happy here and will be staying till February. The only reason I am not giving it a five is they still need to finish the Rec Center. After that it will be a five. read more

If I could give zero I would Wondering if stone oak will comment on this review like I've seen them comment on others. I'd like to start by asking what kind of dirt certain residents have of Larry Hickman the general manager of the park. I'll follow that question with this .... My wife was approached by a resident of park , harassed , and threatened while with our 10 year old son on a morning walk that they did for months. When management was informed not one thing was done and oddly enough it was almost like the aggressor was favored in the situation so ultimately this incident resulted in myself and my family moving to a new park. My wife had multiple witness's to this incident but when general manager Larry Hickman was informed he basically laughed at the situation and brushed it off like it was nothing. My 6 and 10 year old were so scared at what had happened we were forced to leave the park because nothing had been done. I would never recommend this park to anyone only because of Larry Hickman and his lack of doing what is right and not upholding the rules , regulations , and safety of the park and it's residents. Like I stated in the beginning of this review there is something going on this park , something shady and of Ill intentions. Rv goers beware this is NOT a place you will want to take your family. Take them to any of the other parks within the area. read more

We have an older rig and my husband has worked really hard on it. It's in good shape and we take good care of it even though it's not brand new. Their website says "RV's older than 10 years old will require a picture of the rig sent into the office before We want to see pride-of-ownership of the RV so age is not a deterrent if the rig is in good condition." (https://www.stoneoakranchrv.com/rules/). The management rejected ours simply because of its age even though they sent me an email saying it was in good shape. Please make up your mind. It took you a whole day to get back to me and if you had a concrete policy, I never would have bothered. BAD FORM Stone Oak Ranch. After researching RV parks to stay at in the Georgetown area, I picked this place after speaking to Debbie by phone. I was impressed that they required background checks. We checked in June 1st for an extended stay due to my husbands business. The spaces are very spacious, with several options to choose from. The grounds are well maintained. The pool area and clubhouse are the best! We have met some great people here that I am blessed to call friends now. There are 2 fenced in dog parks, but not a lot of shade for them. We have taken advantage of the pickle ball courts, shuffleboard and corn hole toss. There is a small "convenience store" at the main office to purchase snacks, adult beverages and some RV items you might need. Amazon and Fed Ex deliver directly to your site. The front office staff knows everyone by name and are incredibly friendly and helpful. I personally enjoy that this park is a bit further out, away from the city and traffic, and don't mind the 15 minute drive to grocery or major restaurants. The park is currently working to put in a front security gate, and I also wanted to mention that the staff here are serious about security and monitor the grounds it seems like 24/7! read more

STAY AWAY! Where shall I begin. Another reviewer had written about the constant lies told by management there. ABSOLUTELY TRUE!! They will say things about you that simply did not happen and you spend so much time trying to prove your innocence. Then they gripe about going over the speed limit. When you ask them how fast you were going, they simply shrug it off because they don't actually know if you were going 6 mph or 10 mph. The owner is rude as hell and his minions are always on the lookout for a reason to gripe. The newest member of the office staff is condescending and rude. There rules re guests are all over the place. We moved to another rv park and lo and behold.....90% of the people here are former Stone Oak residents who got fed up with the fascist-lite ownership there. read more

This is a relatively new RV park with fairly nice amenities (playground, pool, commons area). However, this review is not simply about the space but about the service. We haven't had any issues with really any of the staff, but the owners seem to not have had any experience with people, and I'll explain here: We arrived a few weeks ago and had our stay reserved for a few weeks. There is a 5 mile per hour speed limit on the property, which most vehicles seem to have an issue with even rolling at 5 mph, but I digress. We had a family member of ours who lives nearby come onto the property to pick us up in their vehicle, and we were immediately notified by email that they were going over the speed limit (he wasn't even pushing his foot on the gas to try and maintain the limit) and we need to be understanding of the rules (which another vehicle that looked exactly like our family member's had arrived in front of him and was going much faster), which we had already agreed to upon reserving our spot at the resort as well as upon our arrival. My partner went inside and was berated by the owner who was very nasty and combative to her. Since then, we've noticed multiple vehicles speeding around consistently throughout our stay. About a week before our stay was about to end, we inquired to the owner about extending our stay for a few more days to a week, which the owner responded right away saying there was no spots available and that they'd be busy for the holidays. We looked online and saw that this wasn't the case and that we could've booked for weeks in multiple spots, but at this point we decided we wouldn't even attempt to stay longer considering the treatment and unprovoked blatant rudeness by the owner. I looked during this trip at the reviews and saw similar reviews with similar issues and feel that while many of the staff were welcoming, I still feel that the appearance of how management treats people can say a lot about the park itself, which is why I left this review at 2 stars. Stayed here twice. First time I had an older man ( far from a gentleman) whistle at yell at me while leaving the pool. He aggressively said " hey no dogs at the pool" as I'm already leaving. Little did he know or realize my dog is a service dog, not an emotional support dog, service. Later that night I was harassed by a drunk, most likely high full time resident saying racial terms and threatening violence to which I called the police. Second visit was worse. My 16yo daughter was driving in and a lady almost hit her vehicle, blocked her in and screamed at her about speeding, to which she wasn't and if so handle it more appropriately. Little did she know I was watching the whole thing. In turn she sped off and I yelled to her slow down as she was approaching the same man from before in a golf cart to tell on me as she sped off again. He had a woman with him and they both approached me aggressively telling me to mind my business, blah blah blah. The lady stated she was part owner I said great I'm leaving and want a full refund. She then tells me to "sush my mouth". As I walked off they got back in the golf cart, with a small child standing up. I headed to the front office to ask for my refund and she comes in acting scared and goes in the private office with her child. The lady at the desk was very nice and apologetic she gave me my refund as requested. As I'm at the desk I suddenly realized I was now surrounded by four or five men, them not knowing I was recording the whole thing. I left went a packed up my RV and noticed that same man driving back and forth watching me and the "scared" lady and child across the street staring at me. I asked the man to quit harassing me and he wanted he could come help me pack. As I left I stopped at the office to get my receipt again the lady was very nice and apologized profusely. I went to another RV site to which they were very very nice and I told him the situation and they said that has been the status quo of what they hear about Stone Oak and the golf cart Nazi pier I will stay far away from this place as humanly possible. read more

This place is clean. But the way they run it is ridiculous. Getting texts accusing us of doing things we never did. Or that they "felt" happened. It was like being guilty and I had to prove I was innocent! They are crazy here! I say don't stop here. You will be happier somewhere else. This rv resort is a rip off. No cancellation policy online to be found. Made reservation for August and had to cancel less than 24 hours later. They charge one full night. This is the second time they have tried to rip me off. First time tried to get more money for spot I had already paid for! Will not ever go back! read more

We have been moved out for 3 months. They still have not gave are deposit back. You call them and they say well we have to talk to corporate office or they bring up they can't look it up because it was on old system. So make sure y'all don't get screwed out of deposit wife and I are still waiting for call back for are $700. read more

I have to agree with Steve and Amanda here. It is clear this RV park opened WAY before they were ready. There is literally not even a bathroom here! We were told WIFI would be available "a few days" after they opened, it was the 20th, and unfortunately it is much slower than WIFI I've experienced in other parks. The water pressure is terrible! I would not suggest staying here until AT LEAST December, since that is supposedly when their "grand opening" is and the amenities will be available, although I seriously doubt that. read more

This brand new RV park is getting off to a horrible start by charging full price with no amenities available yet. $65 a night with no wifi, no cable (they plan not to have cable tv at all), no pool, no bath house or meeting hall, no pool, no pickleball courts. Nothing that makes an RV park an RV Resort. Would you pay $65 a night for this? In addition some of the staff are really bossy to new customers- no smiles and lots of attitude. For a brand new and just opened park with no common amenities you'd think they would be welcoming and graciously offer "soft opening" discounts of at least 50%. Seems fair to me if you want return customers and happy campers. read more

There is NO amenities available at this time! We were told that one laundry facility and WiFi would be ready when we moved in...nope! We were told that the gravel part of the lot could be used for chairs, etc....nope! Nothing allowed under RV...no storage bins, etc. Rent was increased $100 the day we moved in, even with NO amenities! On top of all this, the manager, Valerie, is EXTREMELY RUDE!!! Would not recommend this place as long as Valerie is running it!!! read more
