When I arrived, she was unable to locate my clothing for nearly 10 minutes. Once my items were found, I tried on the altered pants and immediately noticed that 2 of the 4 pairs had been hemmed unevenly and appeared crooked. I raised my concerns and requested that she contact Michael, the owner, as I had personally discussed pricing and alterations with him beforehand. Laura repeatedly refused to contact him, insisting that she was in charge that day. After several requests, she eventually appeared to make calls, but the situation only became more confusing. She also insisted on charging me $14 per pair despite my prior discussion with the owner regarding different pricing for the alterations. What was most concerning was her behavior throughout the interaction. Rather than listening and attempting to resolve the issue, she became argumentative, dismissive, and increasingly hostile. At one point, she raised her voice, told me to "hurry up, pay, and leave," and created an uncomfortable and confrontational environment. After processing my credit card, she thrust the receipt toward me to sign and then abruptly told me not to sign and to leave. I left feeling shocked by the entire encounter. A simple conversation about alterations and pricing escalated unnecessarily due to the lack of professionalism and customer care. I would encourage the owner to review the security footage from Saturday, May 30, around 9:30 a.m. and evaluate how customer concerns are being handled. Based on my experience, this was an extremely disappointing interaction and not the level of service I would expect from a business that values its customers. I never usually leave reviews so this is saying a lot.

When I brought the items back to the store, instead of apologizing and offering a refund, the woman at the counter played like she had been victimized by my clothes being all stinky and spent 20 min arguing with me about it. She finally refunded for the 4 items when I let her know I would dispute with my bank. I requested back the handmade cotton blouse I had just brought in bc at this point I no longer trust that they have any capacity to remove stains from clothes and that they are more likely to give me back something worse than I brought in (and blame me for not being OK with it). I felt so humiliated. You call this friendly environment . They accused me with no proof . This is sad . All I do is be respectful to our community and help those in need .
