Wow. These bagels left me speechless! I got a variety and my favorites include the cacio e Pepe and rosemary and sea salt. I recommend both! The chew of the bagel is perfect. The crisp exterior with the soft yet slightly tough interior reminded me of New York. I took some home to use for sandwiches and meal prep. Service was friendly and prompt. Shop was clean and organized. I'll definitely return!!

Why don't more people know about this place?? Literally the perfect boiled bagel. I was so excited to try the rosemary sea salt, but they were out by the time I got there which brings me to my only complaint: I vote that the "daily" specials become weekly. Give us time!! Instead of 7 rotating every day, do like 3-4 for the week so we actually have a chance to try them. Anyways/ we got a dozen to share and 6 spreads. LOL. WE CAN EAT, OKAY. My top favorite by a landslide was the jalapeño cheddar. Sooo soft, with the cheese dried on top but still soft when you bite into it. I paired it with the roasted jalapeño spread and I couldn't have been more content. The garlic bagel was good, but definitely on the harder side in comparison. The cacio e pepe surprised me as it truly embodied the flavors of a real cacio e pepe dish. The cinnamon sugar was nothing special compared to the others; just what you'd expect. That said, I paired it with the cinnamon honey butter, which was quite rich. The employees were great. Since we were sharing, they happily offered extra paper to use as plates and even labeled all of our spreads The place itself is pretty small, but I don't think they're aiming for lingering. There were maybe 3-ish tables total.

My favorite bagels in Houston, hands down. I made a cute little bagel bar with them and my friends loved them!! The coffee is outstanding to go along with the bagels. Get any flavor of bagel and cream cheese, you won't be disappointed. My favorite bagel is the Rosemary salt one, so unique!! Pairs well with the chive cream cheese. The service is sometimes slow but always nice!

Came across town to the West U area for this bagel shop heard about online. Delish smells as soon as enter doors and this place was hopping on a Sunday am at 10am. Went with the caccio e pepe bagel since was curious about it.Inhouse boiled bagels and don't ask for them to toast because they wont.haha. Noworries .They didn't need them to be since they were perfectly cooked. Spreads were an extra $2.25 and also made in house. Will return again for the real deal!

One of my favorite bagel shops in town. Freshly made bagels are the way to go. Lots of choices, my favs being the blueberry, cacio e pepe, and jalepeno cheddar. Also what's neat is the variety of spreads, so you can really mix & match to just about satisfy any picker eaters, unless they hate bagels... They forgot a bagel once, but I just had to notify them. Get a dozen and be a hero at your office.

Picked up a dozen bagels as a treat for my staff. Got a variety of bagels. Asiago. Asiago Everything. Cacio e Pepe. Everything. Garlic. Rosemary Salt. Sesame. So many unique savory flavors. The bagels were so good. Soft on the inside. Perfect when they are toasted with cream cheese. Lots of sweet and savory choices like chive and onion or cucumber dill. They also have fun flavors like elote, cookies and cream or cake batter. So creative. Parking was easy. They will slice the bagels on request. A nice place to pick up fresh bagels for the office or family.

Man oh man 10/10 no wait 12/10 I just had another bagel place last weekend and was super disappointed. But this place more than made up for it and considering it was delivered (so not toasted) but it was still warm and the cream cheese was delicious. We got a variety box of bagels and cream cheese Bagel had the shine chew and texture of a proper bagel and you could tell that if you toasted it - would have been next level

Jeff's Bagel Run offers a bread(th) of options when it comes to authentic NY style bagels. The shop is small, but cozy, and the friendliness of the staff can't help but draw you in. I tried the Asiago bagel with jalapeño cream cheese and the Everything bagel with onion and chive cream cheese. I'm not surprised that the Asiago bagel is their recommended menu item...it's fantastic! The everything bagel was great too. In terms of cream cheese, I felt that the jalapeño flavor was a bit lacking, although the onion and chive definitely made up for it. Side note: their coffee is great too!

Whenever I go to a place twice in one week, I'm a fan! I don't usually like banana flavored items but This Banana Cream Latte is Their bagels are made in house and fresh. They also have a great selection of in house made cream cheese. The onion and chives has me in a chock hold Service is always quick and the staff are so kind.

Came here on the way to work in the med center and WOW reminds me of pop up bagels in NYC!! Love that you can choose between a larger tub of spread or a small individual size! I tried the banana spread and it was delicious and tasted fresh

Came here on a weekday around 9am and no line but people were constantly coming in and out. Since we had already eaten breakfast, I only ordered one poppy seed bagel with an onion and chive cream cheese on the side just to try. The bagel itself was quite soft and fluffy, a little more soft than expected but I still enjoyed it a lot. This is total personal, but I probably would have preferred the exterior of the bagel to have a little more "chew" to it, but I think that's because all the bagels I've ever had has a harder exterior that you have to chew through before getting to the softer interior. My entire bagel from Jeff's Bagel run was quite soft, but then again I still quite enjoyed eating it, so I really can't complain. My onion and chive cream cheese spread was delicious. Loved that they used fresh red onions and fresh chives, as I was expecting onion powder and dried chives. Overall a great place for a nice bagel on the softer side. Would love it if they also offered bagel dogs or bagel sausages (yumm). Hopefully they can expand their menu over time!

I had never heard or seen this place before! I was given a gift certificate and went to cash in. I got 6 bagels. They were a mixture of cinnamon sugar, cinnamon raisin, blueberry, and some others. They also offered to slice them for me. You get to pick the spread from their list of options. You can either buy 1 or get a flight of 3. The cashier offered me samples of the spread to help me choose. I wanted to take so many. They were really good. And so were the bagels! They also offered drinks like iced coffee and tea as well.

Not this place being around the corner from me this whole time! I was waiting on my hair appointment and noticed this place in the shopping center so I stepped in. 1st come on options! They offer a variety of bagels and spreads! They even have vegan options too! I ordered a plain bagel with vegan cinnamon spread. Excellent! What makes this even better is, it was only $2! A great price and a great product! I definitely will be back to try different bagels and their offerings.

Thankfully, Mark was there and initially was told a 35 minute wait but seemed intent by quicker. Ambiance: 4/5 It was breakfast time so of course it was a busy time. For my visit, it was crowded but not to where you couldn't hear your table. Dress is casual, good for friends, solo, or pit stop. Service: 5/5 Our waitress was very knowledgeable and friendly. Since it was our first visit there, she gave us some background that it was a Pappa's owned restaurant and food is made from scratch. Food: 3/5 They offer mimosas and I was tempted to order, but was driving and it was 9AM so forewent that option. There are food options for every tastebud. Mark ordered the fried cheese sticks, they were one of the items that I found worthwhile to return for. I opted for the Waffle feast. It included a waffle, that I added pecans on top to, two strips of bacon, eggs your way and hash browns. To say that I needed to add salt and pepper to the eggs and hash browns because they tasted bland and flavorless was unfortunate. It also was served at room temperature, because it was made from scratch, would think it be warmer to hot. The waffle was savory and had good mix and topped with the pecans made it even better. If you're on this side of town and want a change up from the "other breakfast diners" DOT would be where I stop. Fast, friendly service. Depending the food you get, it gets the job done for some sustenance to hold you over when you're not sure when your next meal is because you'll be in Galveston for 7 hours riding a float in the Mardi Gras parade.

What I eventually found both surprised and delighted me, and Nate's gets a thumbs up overall. Pictures are deceiving as I thought the place would be larger but it's a tight fit for bigger groups. There are only a handful of tables but plenty of character. It's also a bit grimey, unsightly and even a tinge dodgey, which may be a deal breaker for others but is an immediate appeal to me. Two things immediately standout when it comes to the food: the portions and the prices are outstanding. The offerings are as no frills as the rest of the establishment. The other surprise was how much influence there was from Mexican cuisine. Hash browns were the goal, but chorizo and chilaquiles were the bonus. Another surprise? The hash browns weren't as crispy as I would have wanted. It's entirely plausible that I came on an off day, which happens. However everything else was on point as my chorizo skillet was absolutely dynamite, pancakes were fluffy and indulgent, breakfast tacos were outstanding, and my eggs were perfectly softly scrambled. Even the bacon and sausage patties were delicious, which is a tall order considering it's not likely made in house. Lastly, as someone who drinks cold water like it's a hobby (#1), I'm especially grateful for the massive 32 oz cup of water, which is perfect for someone who drinks like a camel. The staff is not the quickest but they are friendly. Spanish may go further with most and they're not the quickest when it comes to greeting folks or cleaning tables. The food is the star and consider paying in cash. ____________ (#1) I'm thirsty.

I wanted to start with one biscuit, but the biscuits come in pairs. The waitress said I could order just one anyway, but the order ended up being two. I meant to save the second one for breakfast, but that was not to be. It did not survive long enough to make it out the door. My actual meal was a bacon swiss and mushroom burger, which was excellent. Between the biscuits and the burger, I am forced to acknowledge that it was entirely too much food. I was catching up with my sister, we were there about 5 hours and the restaurant was empty. A mature-aged Asian woman came in, spotted the restroom door, and proceeded to it. The manager/owner (older man with balding hair) RAPIDLY went from the other side of the restaurant to intercept the woman right at the restroom entrance. He asked her what she needed, she told him to use the restroom, he then asked if she needed a table. When she replied "no", he stated that restrooms are for paying customers only. She was embarrassed, froze, said "Okay", and walked towards the exit. The guy saw my sister and I watching this unfold with screwfaces, so he tells the woman at the exit "Well go ahead and use it, you're already in here, I guess". While she was in the restroom he made a sign about their restroom stance and was taping it to the front door as the woman was exiting the building. We left immediately also. A business has the right to have such a ridiculous regulation, but this woman was dressed clean and came from a Lexus SUV. She wasn't homeless or some street prostitute that might be reckless in a public restroom. The idiot guy was petty, rude, inconsiderate, cold, and careless. Mr. Picky ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp while I opted for Veal Parmigiana, and we each stole a bite from the other's plate. We reached consensus immediately that both dishes were well-seasoned and quite delicious, meaning we would return for more good food in the future. Seriously, we hadn't expected much when walking in and looking around, but were pleasantly surprised at the kitchen's efforts. We finished lunch with an order of homemade bread pudding and tiramisu, the latter of which in 2012 won a chamber of commerce epicurean competition 1st place ribbon. I wasn't there to judge that competition and have had better, but sincerely appreciated the moistness of the bread pudding. While the majority of diners were older and a more mature crowd, there's a lot to be said for value, and we thought the menu price was better than reasonable and I think a lot of people will discover this as a value destination, something we all appreciate.
