This location is super convenient for me as I live in midtown, along with many other college students! The hours are also much better than Luke's (who were here previously). While this location does offer a more abbreviated menu than the Millhopper location, they still have a good variety. They have both savory & sweet options, sandwiches, open-faced melts, baked goods, and lots of coffee options. The bagels are very fresh here and I am happy to see that they didn't sacrifice the quality at this second location. I will say I don't think the baked goods are as fresh though, but I mainly come for the bagels anyways! The service is excellent, super friendly, and really pleasant. I have tried a couple of different bagels from this location. I think they taste about the same as the Millhopper location too. The Asiago, bacon-cheddar, and cheddar-jalapeño are all favorites of mine. I generally get a bagel & cream cheese, but their sandwiches are great as well. The bagels have a super soft texture and are large. I wouldn't call these NY styles bagels--which Bagel Bakery doesn't claim to serve anyways. But they are really great with awesome texture. Their cream cheeses are also excellent, not too thick and portioned just right on each bagel. The eggs on their breakfast sandwiches taste like real eggs too--not a prepared egg patty or powdered egg mix. I definitely prefer the savory options to the sweet, as I think the savory bagels have the best texture and flavor. I also wasn't the biggest fan of their bagel & lox. It wasn't bad, but the red onion and tomato weren't portioned well and too overpowering with the other components. All in all, I absolutely love coming here and am so happy I can get these bagels more frequently! The bagels are very similar to the main location and I don't think they taste stale or day-old. The service is amazing here and everyone who works here is genuinely so nice. And the prices are really appealing, especially considering the size of the bagels. I look forward to many more visits and hope to try some of their delicious sandwiches next! I would highly recommend checking this place out, it is 100% worth it!

I had the little bacon, egg and cheese which had less egg than I thought I would have (like 1/2 an egg). Usually places give two thick pieces, which is why I decided to get a smaller one. But it was far less than expected. We have a lot of bagels around Tampa, and it honestly wasn't what we thought. It is highly recommended in Gainesville, so I would try for yourself!

They have a large variety of spreads and a lot of vegan options which seems to be the mode in a college town like Gainesville. I have always had good experiences here, though what I order is relatively limited in scope. Usually just a bagel (of some sort) with the tuna salad as a topping. When I walk in, it is a simple matter to walk up to the counter and make my food, then sit down at a table for about five minutes while they prepare my order. I am always greeted warmly, and they are able to get my food out in a very reasonable amount of time. The place does a good business, and I am happy that there is a place in Thornebrooke for the morning crowd where you can grab a bite to eat and perhaps a coffee that isn't overpriced garbage from Seattle. I will continue going here on the weekend for my little bite to eat.
