Had a procedure, with the dr, last week. He is very attentive. He along with the Eden nurses were both thorough and accommodating.

After years of doctors ignoring my symptoms and not caring to inquire further or listen to me, I…read morefound Dr. Robinson. In our first appointment I had a lot to tell her-- she listened intently, asked follow up questions, seemed to genuinely care about my gastrointestinal issues. She ordered some tests that I hadn't even known existed because no other doctor had ever bothered to do their due diligence. Dr. Robinson bothered to do her due diligence and it turned out there was a big issue!! I had a minor surgical procedure shortly after with her. She knew I was nervous, so she came to visit me while I was being prepped. She sat down and discussed the procedure with me, asked if I had any questions, and was patient and kind about how nervous I was. The procedure went well and she made a life changing diagnosis. She then made sure to attend to all my questions-- she made the time for me between appointments to discuss my results, answer questions, give me information. She really seems to care. Also, each time she's prescribed something to me, she's discussed the medication with me and given me ample information about the medication so that I could make an informed decision and have true informed consent. Dr. Robinson is willing to endure a lot of talking and questions from patients in order to provide peace of mind, education about your condition, and do her due diligence. Especially as a female patient it is so difficult to find a doctor of any gender who treats a female patient like this. I can't recommend her enough.

I went in for what was supposed to be a routine diagnostic colonoscopy. Twenty centimeters into the…read moreprocedure, my colon was perforated. After the procedure, I was told a "tear" had been found (either due to cancer, diviculitis, or hereditary conditions) and that I was being sent to the ER "to err on the side of caution." At the hospital, imaging confirmed a full perforation that occurred during the colonoscopy. (Moreover, if a tear had been pre-existing I would have known and had all symptoms associated with it, including possible sepsis.) The ER confirmed here were no underlying conditions such as cancer or diverticulitis that would have explained a spontaneous rupture. I was taken into high-risk emergency surgery and am still recovering more than six weeks later. Since then, I have had multiple ER visits due to complications and am facing the possibility of additional surgery. Complications can happen in medicine. What has been deeply troubling is the way the Dr. Robinson lied. The initial explanation did not match what was later documented and confirmed in the ER. As a patient, when something serious happens, honesty is essential. This experience has had significant physical, emotional, and ongoing medical consequences. I share this so others can make informed decisions on whether to undertake care under Dr. Robinson.

I had a discovery call with you prior to this consultation and you told me that my case was the type of case that your clinic works with all the time. This is why I decided to pay the $500 because I thought I would get an individualized plan. I have had consultations with other functional medicine practitioners and naturopaths before and this appointment was used to build a plan for me. Not listen to a sales pitch. I found out the cost for these other providers' programs during the 15 minute discovery call. And by the way, you are not telling the truth about offering a $35,000 program. You said "For accuracy, we don't offer a $35,000 program". I have documents to prove that you do, which I've posted here. There are three tiers I was offered: Platinum 12 month program, a Gold 12 month program but not as many "perks" and visits, and then a 6 month program, which I was deterred from because I have a lot of issues and it takes time to resolve (which I agree with). And all of these programs don't include labs or supplements!! I was being steered towards the Platinum program for 35k, BUT if I signed up before 7/30/25 and paid in full, I would only pay $25k! Heck of a deal! "Spots are limited! Fast Action Bonus if you sign up today!" Seriously this is what you hear on an infomercial or used car sales lot. You are clearly just motivated by money and not helping people. I am so frustrated that I spent my VERY hard earned $500 (which I desperately need to work on getting better) and got absolutely nothing but scammed. You both should be ashamed of yourselves taking advantage of people who are desperate to feel better. Your reply was unbelievable. Literally.

When I started to check-in, I was told I did not have an appointment today. A half hour later I was told that my appointment had been cancelled but that I could wait around and they would "try to squeeze me in". I then proceed to contact Dr. Adler's office was told "your appointment was cancelled by your girlfriend because you wanted to go to San Leandro Hospital due to insurance reasons". I responded that I had never cancelled my appointment and that there had been a major mistake on your staff's part in confusing me with another patient. It's concerning there was a note in my chart that should have been in another patient's chart. Fortunately, this error in charting occurred regarding scheduling of a procedure and not directly related to mine or another other patient's medical care, which would cause pause for a risk management issue. During a telephone conversation with Dr. Adler about the situation and mistake made by his staff, Dr. Adler expressed a laissez-faire and cavalier attitude regarding this situation in stating, "these things happen and slip through the cracks at times". Dr. Adler also stated that I should "go with the flow and that nobody died or contracted cancer". This is the most unprofessional statement and attitude that I have ever seen or heard from a physician and certainly, not one of empathy, as facilitated in Dr. Adler's medical training. This situation and response by Dr. Adler and his staff does not bode well in instilling confidence in the overall care being coordinated for me as a patient. First impressions are everything in life. Dr. Adler, along with his staff, have made a lasting impression alright, but in a negative manner.
