I haven't seen a denist in over 15 years. In fact I only went because of a bad toothache! Needless to say my neglect caused quite a few issues including a root canel!Dr. Kaylee was so patient and made a plan to address all my problems . Tammy in the office worked with me and the insurance company and I ended up having no out of pocket costs!! I was very impressed with all of the work done. The shots to numb you was always my worse fear, but to my surprise Dr. Kayler did this painless! All the staff there are all very friendly and personable. I submitted an online appointment request, didn't hear anything. I called today, she let me know they are not taking new patients until Feb. Of next year I said I wish the website said that or a response to my requst... in a borderline sarcastic sneer, "we would love to, but we cant access our website," like it was my fault. They have so many patients that you can't get in for 6 months if you are forced to cancel or need any follow up work. Office is decorated nice but Id rather have the option to see my dentist when something is wrong in a timely manner. Used to be great at the old location, not so much anymore. read more

Dr. Kahler diagnosed me with gum disease in '05, and recommended Scaling & Root Planing treatments. When I told him I wanted to get a Periodontist's opinion before proceeding, he dismissed me from his practice. He is either unethical or extremely insecure. I proceeded to consult a periodontist, who confirmed my gum recession was due to occlusal trauma, rather than bacteria. Though the recession is a concern, my gums are tight and do not bleed. The solution was to wear a mouthguard at night, and I have maintained my gum levels for 7 years now. Thank goodness I didn't waste time and money on unnecessary treatments. read more

Awful experience after several years of OK service. I went in for a routine exam with no apparent problems. He said I needed a crown replaced (expensive). I experienced pain immediately. I didn't realize it at first, but he had botched the crown replacement. He said I needed a root canal (also expensive). I continued to experience pain after the root canal, but when I tried to get back In to see him, the office staff was evasive because I was not "due" for any billable services. I finally got in, but he couldn't help. Instead he referred me to an orthodontist. When I got to the orthodontist, Dr. Kahler's staff had failed to send my X-rays along with the referral, so I had to go pick up my X-rays and reschedule the appointment. The orthodontist also couldn't help and referred me to a pain management specialist. I have been seeing the pain management specialist for almost five years and I still have pain regularly. read more

Nice folks but the billing department is awful. They have no idea who they are primary carriers for and will pretend who ever you say you have they will agree to get you in the door. In order to look out for themselves, they send bills that match no where near what is actually owed. I spent more time learning about dental insurance and researching what my bill should actually be than the dental service I received. Don't believe a word you are told on the phone or in person because whoever is telling you has no idea what they are talking about. read more

i went to dr.the painkillers, kahler for over 14 years. i was very happy with the work he had done. then i had a problem with a root canal that he had done. i had severe pain! i called and spoke with bubba and she told me i could not get in until next month! i accepted her word. but i called back three different times. i was in so much pain and i knew er would not be able to help. each time i called same thing can't get you in until next month. then i called and happened to get the answering service. i told her what was happening, i had pain killers within the first hour, and an apt. i called bubba to ask her very nicely why she refused to let dr. kahler know i was in such excruciating pain. she started in on me saying it was my own fault!!! i had missed an apt. ( i had never missed an apt for a procedure) anyway the problem with the root canal was one he did five yrs ago.so i said in conclusion this is all my fault? she said absolutely all my fault. she said i am always crying foul about something! this was my first emergency in over 14 yrs!!!!!! dr. kahler did not stick up for me and even though the root canal was supposed to be fixed within 6wks according to the periodontist. dr. kahler dropped me as a patient because i told him after he fixed the problem i was going to go to lansford. he didn't care that getting in to see another dentist takes months and my problem needed to be fixed within 6 weeks. he did not care that bubba spoke to me like that. it is a good thing she doesn't work in a doctors office. if you came in with copd, she would probably say it is your own fault you smoked and refuse to give you an appointment, as she did me!!!!!!!!!!!!! refusing to treat me for something that needed to be fixed in 6 wks i thought was very unethical!!!! the only reason being i was not going to put up with the abuse from bubba and him not defending me. and i was honest and said i was going to lansford after he fixed the problem. he must be very insecure!!!!!!!!!!!! since he refused to treat me and i did not have a new dentist i think i could have complained to whoever is in charg of dentists licenses. they have to give you at least 30days of treatment to give you time to find someone else read more

After recommendations to come here I went in for a root canal for a tooth that chipped in half. By the time it was done my insurance coverage was done for the year and my care credit was used up as well so I let them know I need to put off on the X-rays , cleaning, wisdom teeth pulling we had originally planned and I needed to just proceed with my crown placement. They refused!!! I can't help I don't have the money for the other things and now I'm stuck with a temporary on my root canal and have to search for a dentist to finish the job. It's my money I should be able to decide how to spend it on my Health/teeth. Will never return here read more

I have been seeing Dr. Kahler for several years now. I just now looked at the reviews of him on here and I am amazed at the negative responses. I have had nothing but great things to say about Dr. Kahler for every session he has treated me. I have been to several dentists in the past. He has always been very professional with me. He gets through the treatments in a timely manner without sacrificing perfection. Which is a good thing when you're being drilled on. You dont want to spend more time then necessary. He is also a perfectionist, and wont stop until everything is perfect, so you dont leave with any regrets later. The dental assistants are all also top notch as well as his cleaning staff and reception staff. I have been on yelp for 5+ years and only written one prior review. But when I saw all the negative reviews on here I had to do my part to let the truth be known. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, But sometimes the people on yelp leaving bad reviews are people that just aren't capable of reviewing the overall experience and get stuck up on a minor detail such as billing or whatever which they should have figured out before the treatment. read more

Dr Kahler billing pracvtices are unprofessional. He will quote and then receive payment for services then after the procedure add extra charges to the bill. I had work done and quoted, paid in full then he added charges for additional materials two weeks after the procedure. Now I am fighting him through collections. Be leary of any quote given by their office. read more

Dr. Kahler gave me several options of treatment and took his time to explain each in detail, answering all of my questions.
