But I was there and I said I'll pay out of pocket it was just a cleanse for my 3 year old daughter they see her and said she was perfectly fine and didn't even need a cleanse or a polishing. They didn't do anything to her and I payed out of pocket 84 dlls with a100 DLL bill. And next thing I know they are sending me bills to my house with the same amount when I had already payed !!! And they didn't do anything!!! I have a suspicion that the lady in the front desk stole the 100 DLL bill and didn't enter my payment in their system..... they sent me to collections!!!! The way he does business!,…read more Dentist: i came to this man as a visitor in Atascadero and he could've given me a simple temporary re-glue of a loosened cap.....but instead his head could only think of another $4,000$ or more project.....another cap, another client. I don't know if this is a good dentist because he's never working and he's never working because he doesn't have to with the charges that he puts on. For a little tiny reglue he was charging to begin with $400 and that's before he looked at the tooth! Then he told me I should go to my own dentist 6 hours away because that dentist 'is so good'.But I happen to be here in this money sucking ToWn for a visit. Still I was sitting waiting for a dentist to simply re-glue my tooth, clean it if it need be and i would have been quite grateful. But he is so concerned about legal issues that he sent me away without a peek! All of the staff is super helpful, they got my son in for a visit…read morethe same day (potential cavity pain) and handled him like champs - he's 3 1/2, 65 lbs + and has a major fear of dentists (from a different office experience). Another dental office wanted to charge 3 times the price and put my son under general anesthesia, because he puts up such a fight from his dental office fears. My husband and I were so fearful of general anesthesia so this dentist office offered us the option of "arresting the cavity" (which essentially just delays the cavity progression in the hopes he grows out of his fears and cooperates for an actual filling in the future). This was something the previous dental office had told us about yet refused to offer that to my son, in fear they couldn't handle his thrashing to do the 30 second "arresting cavity" procedure. I'm so glad we got a second opinion and specifically with this office! They made sure we got the procedure that we wanted done and dealt with my sons fearful behavior SO well. We all worked together and were able to do the quick procedure and avoid anesthesia. I enjoyed everything about this office and I'm hopeful that my son will learn to be comfortable there and eventually enjoy his visits. We tried to take them to a pediatric dentist but they requested to come back to Lansford . My kids have been watching me get cleanings and exams and have grown to know the staff for years. I remember Jody playing with my kids while I had my appointments and letting them get toys from chest. The staff I have always been so caring and kind. Dr. Karanian and Dr. Lansford are professional and just amazing. Our family has had cleanings primarily with Lisa. Lisa has magic hands and applies the perfect pressure to my sensitive teeth. Janay and Carmen now see my family and I since Lisa retired. They are great. We will always remain with this dental family.

Upon retirement I starting checking for local dentist. Nearly every place I called was not accepting patients. Thankfully Vineyard was willing to accommodate me based on my availability. Prior to arrival I had filled out all the required paperwork. I checked in at the reception desk upon arrival and took a seat until I was called. X-rays were the first business of the day, new dentist wanted to get a view of my mouth. Simple procedure. This was followed but a CT scan of my head to provide a 3D image, thought this was neat, but didn't get to see the finished image. It was in to wait for the dentist, Dr. Cheema. He introduced himself, as did each of the staff. Thought they were all nice people and provided me plenty of information regarding procedures and paperwork. There dentist looked around my mouth and prodded with his tools. Looked at the x-rays and gave me his assessment. Since my insurance covered it, I did sign up for the Invisalign, but prior to that I will be back for a few deep cleanings, which had to be explained to me and to pull one impacted molar, which I knew I had but never wanted to get it removes. All in all, a great visit, very relaxed. Thanks to the staff and the dentist. I look forward to returning.
