I was given a list of several options by my EAP program at work and Dr. Giglio was who we decided to go with after speaking with a few different doctors over the phone. **BEST DECISION I HAVE EVER MADE FOR MY SON** From the very first meeting, I felt that Dr. Giglio was going to not just help my son, but also help arm us (the parents) with the tools we would need to help him in between sessions and even after the sessions ended. She was supportive of certain ways we reacted to his anxiety and cautionary of others and let us know how it could be perceived by a child with anxiety. After about 4 sessions I could see my son starting to respond to the sessions and he even would check with us to make sure he was going to be able see her each week. One of the rituals that my son requested every morning when I dropped him off at school was that I ask him how his anxiety level was on a scale of 1-10. When he first started seeing Dr. Giglio, they ranged from 10-12 and he was extremely emotional every day. It was absolutely exhausting as a parent. Fast forward to today, after about 12 sessions with Dr. Giglio, and his levels are consistently hovering around a 2. The difference Dr. Giglio has made in my son's everyday life is astonishing.
