We are getting married in June and could not be happier, and Lori has played such an important role in helping us build a healthier, stronger relationship. I've seen many therapists and couples counselors throughout the years, and Lori is truly the best. Lori is the absolute best. She is compassionate, understanding, and creates such a safe and comfortable environment where we both feel heard and supported. You can tell she genuinely cares about her clients and wants the best for them. Her guidance, patience, and insight have made such a positive impact on our relationship and on us individually as well. We are incredibly grateful for all of her help and would recommend Lori to anyone looking for a caring, knowledgeable, and genuinely dedicated couples counselor. Thank you so much Lori!

She met with both of us twice and individually once. We left the relationship with so much grace. I have since started seeing her to work through some of the relationship issues identified during the uncoupling counseling. She has been amazing. Her ability to listen and hear what is being said between the lines is truly a gift. I cannot recommend her enough.

They were polite, but the sessions felt very scripted and a bit robotic, which made it hard to connect. After that, I was reassigned to a therapist named Rita. I really wanted to give it a fair shot, but I often left sessions feeling like I wasn't fully heard or understood. At times, the tone felt a bit judgmental, even if that may not have been the intention, and it made it hard to feel comfortable opening up. Eventually, I was told that my symptoms had improved and that I might not need to continue therapy. When I shared that I still felt like I needed support, the response came across as somewhat dismissive rather than collaborative. After a while of feeling misunderstood, I ended up canceling a few sessions and eventually stopped going. About nine months later, I decided to try again and requested a new therapist since Rita was no longer there. I came in feeling hopeful, but the experience quickly took a turn. I was matched with Gabriella, and early in the session she focused heavily on my past cancellations, even though I explained they were due to not feeling heard before. She also mentioned concerns about me potentially being "dependent" on therapy because I've been in therapy for several years, which didn't feel fair or accurate to me. I tried to express that I wasn't feeling a good connection and that the approach felt more like an interrogation than a supportive conversation. Instead of things improving, I felt more uncomfortable, to the point where I became emotional and asked to end the session early. I've been to different therapists and mental health facilities before, so I understand that not every match will be perfect. But this experience stood out in a negative way. It didn't feel like a safe or welcoming space to be vulnerable, and that's really the most important part of therapy.
