This practice is so special in so many ways. Ever walked into a doctors office and feel judged? Felt uncomfortable and try to hide your head in your hands as they call your name out loud, and you get out of the chair with fear and embarrassment?
Well this is not your ordinary doctor, or doctors office, especially for specific treatment that one can feel shameful for.
I moved from Florida, in new found waters, looking for a doctor, and every phone number I called, either hung up on me, or 'tis 'tis tis (ed) me. I finally came across a doctor. Dr Ayers. I called, in semi desperation, and right away, a woman answered the phone and made me an appointment for the same day. I was seen, and it was my first time meeting people that I love, respect, and give so much credit to, for helping me, and always making me feel welcome.
Dr Ayers is kind as can be. He is kind when listening, great when giving advice, and funny - that will make you belly laugh when taking a bad day or circumstance, and turning it around. He is so welcoming, so non-judgmental, and that's something that I think is rare and really special. He cares about this patients, and remembers them by name, and to me, that says something about a person.
On to Danya, one of the most amazing woman I have ever had the pleasure of meeting, and consider a friend. She, really, cares. Like I mentioned before, this is not a judgement practice. Every time the door opens, Danya welcomes you with a smile, and such a warm and caring demeanor. But it's not just a demeanor, it's her authentic self. She.cares. More than some of my long time friends, which is why I describe her as that. A friend. She goes ABOVE AND BEYOND to help patients. She even gives patients her phone number, if ever in need. Even just to talk about personal topics that others won't understand. She is truly an angel, and was put on this planet to help others. I honestly do not have enough space to say more about how special and wonderful about her. She is a very special person.
Last but not least, Francisco. He is the nurse who takes your vitals, and again, is friendly and funny. He is hard working, but will never tell anyone that. But he will do your important paperwork that, without him, would not make the visits go so smoothly. Like a skipping record, he is also non judgmental, and treats everyone with the up most respect. (He will also knock off a couple lbs when telling you your weight-Which makes him even better! - but of course that doesn't make it to the real paperwork. :( . Francisco is another person whom will make you feel very comfortable, and brave. He is hard working, and is very relatable once you talk to him. He will never make you feel bad or show disappointment when going over and writing down information... even if that's the way you feel.
All in all, I love all of these people like family, because that's how they treat me, and that's
How amazing they all are. So if you're bettering yourself, and strip your fear or pride, this is where you should come. This is the doctor you should work with. All three of these people are something else, and I AM PROUD, to say that they help me become a better person. One day, I hope to be like them.
