Regardless of where someone works or who they are dealing with professionalism should always come first. His behavior made the entire place feel uncomfortable and hostile and it honestly felt like he was on a power trip instead of doing his job. A clinic should be a safe respectful space especially for people who are already dealing with personal situations. The way Jr handled himself was unacceptable and reflects very poorly on the facility. I would never return here and I hope management seriously addresses how their front desk staff treats people.

The encourage smoking, your counselor will even smoke with you and end group early for longer smoke breaks. You are required to use your cell phone. And you will be able to call your family and friends while you're detoxing them just incase you haven't traumatized them enough. This program is a joke. None of the BFC staff is left. When I was picked up they sent a house manager to get me and he really started to ask question and seemed really sincere, when I arrived to the house I was greeted by some of my soon to be roommates and it was amazing how they all seemed to make sure I was good, alder if I needed food or go to the store? They pretty much made me feel very welcomed. Then I started doing the groups and learned a lot about myself! My one on ones with my therapist really made a big difference and I was able to get through a lot of trauma that was the underlying of root causes to some of my addictions. Since I graduated the program and starting to reintroduce myself to regular life. I have no cravings. If I think about using they come and are gone as fast as they came. I have to say that it was the development of the tools and all the classes and group settings. They really help me get through this and prepare me mentally to think of life in a different aspect and realize that I'm how much better person in sobriety than I ever was in my addiction and I'm grateful for everybody at Shoreline counselors therapist staff they all have made a big impact on the person that I am today and moving forward.
