We needed a drywall repair in our ceiling after a water leak and found Jeff and Chase here on yelp. We were impressed with the reviews, and I have to say the 5 star reviews were spot-on! Jeff and Chase came right out and were on-time, quick, efficient, and so pleasant to deal with. Chase is an absolute artist when it comes to blending in the drywall seams to the surrounding area. They charged a fair price for high quality work. We are so happy we found a trustworthy, reliable, and high quality general contractor. We will be using them for all of our future projects. The attention to detail was amazing and they are also really nice people. If you need any work done, don't hesitate to contact them. read more

Be careful despite the good reviews. They were very responsive at first through Yelp and text and had no problem setting up the initial appointment. Once that was done, the responsiveness disappeared and so did they. Unfortunately, it became the classic contractor experience: very attentive before getting you scheduled, then difficult to reach afterward. read more

Jeff and his son, Chase are great! We were shopping for quotes, really wishing Jeff and Chase would want to take on our light fixture project... and they did! They are quick at responding text/call and really know what they are doing. On top of that, part of the project had to do with our insurance; we needed a contractor that would be willing to provide exactly what the insurance needed. We typed the proposal up, and Jeff filled in with what the insurance requested. We wanted to remove light fixtures in the living room and replace it with a pendant fixture, as well as recessed lights. The shades we bought ended up not being the perfect fit for the new fixture we wanted to use in the dining room, but Jeff and Chase were patient and knowledgeable to know how to "sand this, and cut that " and made the shades work and look beautiful! We are very pleased with their work and will definitely be using them again for all things home repairs. As a perfectionist, it's hard to find great contractors like them. They are very tidy and neat and really know what they are doing. We also like that they are honest and work with fair rates. Thank you, guys! read more

They gave me a very fair quote. I needed to have my patio repainted. They spent three days sanding, prime it and then painted. They did a wonderful job. Jeff and Chase did an amazing job doing drywall and painting at my 2 story flip project on "top of the world" Laguna Beach. I needed to switch an entry of a master bedroom to a different wall, and they made it happen because the original owner had made changes that made it look awkward. They were able to do repair for some horrible drywall work done previously and made it look beautiful. They really know how to problem solve and get things done. They are straightforward if they see something off. They're very friendly and affordable. Thank you guys! I will totally hire them again on my next project! read more

Jeff and his son Chase did an excellent job in repairing the drywall in two rooms of my home. They were so professional and provided excellent communication from start to finish. They were able to complete my project within a day and a half and I will be forever grateful. Their price for the completed project was also more than reasonable. I highly recommend their service. read more

I'll start with WOW!! Jeff and Chase did an amazing job bringing our home back to life, and some, after our slab leak. They handled the drywall, painting, baseboards, and flooring while also taking care of the numerous other items that needed repair around the house. They have amazing attention to detail and their price was not only fair, but they were mindful of budget as well. Thank you both for restoring peace of mind and for doing such an amazing job! We highly recommend Jeff Johnson Construction. read more

Jeff & his son Chase came to my house this past week. A few reasons for five stars. #1 They responded within the hour and came over the first business day after my request to provide an estimate. #2 they were able to complete the work SAME DAY. Wow. Completely unexpected & welcome! #3 Their quote was fair for their quality of work. I appreciated the care they took to complete each project with care and to the level I expected. They confirmed each portion of my project was what I wanted before moving onto the next. #4 They were friendly had and have a vast array of knowledge. I can tell they've worked in the industry for years and seen all sorts of tricky projects. They are problem solvers and don't just stop when something stumps them. They find a solution. #5 They took the time to FaceTime with my husband who had to be at work that day & walk through an estimate for another project so we could be efficient with everyone's time. This has allowed us to budget for phase 2! As new homeowners we have a variety of small projects that have come up that we just don't have the experience to solve. Lots of times, folks flake out or don't take the time to walk through possible solutions with us. These two are the most professional and caring handymen I've come across since we bought our house. We're putting them on speed dial! read more

A+ Handyman Service! If you're looking for a reliable, skilled, and friendly handyman team, look no further! We recently hired Jeff and Chase for a variety of projects around our house, and we couldn't be happier with the results. Quality work, very professional, worked well together as a team, fair pricing, and cleaned up when they were done. Overall, we highly recommend Jeff Johnson Construction to anyone needing top-notch handyman services. We'll definitely be calling them again for future projects! read more

This is the second job done for me by Jeff Johnson Construction, and certainly not the last. They were easy to schedule with, arrived on time, did excellent quality work, and very good clean-up. This job was the installation of a wall-mounted/Murphy bed. I'm beyond satisfied with the outcome, which included not only the assembly and mounting of the bed, but moving an outlet which would have been lost behind the bed frame. As a homeowner, it's good to know there's someone I can call to handle the jobs I need done to keep the house upgraded and in good repair. read more

John and Chase were so good to work with. I had some siding that was warped in quite a few places. They came out to look at the Job and give me an estimate. I gave them the option to quote for total replacement of a 20 foot section of siding or to repair the warped areas. They said they could repair what was there. They later came out and quickly repaired the areas. They were very thorough as well taking no shortcuts. The price was totally reasonable. Glad I hired them. read more

This is the second time we have used Jeff and son Chase to do a job. They are true craftsmen. Their attention to detail is amazing. They had to match up existing texturing which was not an easy job, our walls were textured 20 years ago. The styles have changed but Jeff and Chase DID IT!! They were also very conscience of keeping the area clean and neat. Today it's hard to find a company that calls you back and they did within a hour!!! SO PLEASED! Do yourself a favor, skip the headaches , get the job done, call Jeff and Chase!! read more

Great father and son team! They were very responsive through messaging and showed up on time. Prices were very reasonable.

So happy with the work that Chase and Jeff did. I called them out for estimate one day and they came back within two days to repair. They would have come earlier but with my schedule it wouldn't work. They were on time the day they came. Did great work and cleaned up everything. When the time came to settle up the bill I was charged the amount of the estimate. I would highly recommend this father/son business. read more

Jeff & Chase are a father and son team. I contracted them to do some repair work on my patio cover. They tackled replacing one of the main beams which wasn't an easy thing to do. They showed up exactly on time every day and worked diligently until the work was completed. Jeff charged me for time and materials and provided a receipt for their materials costs. I agree with other comments that they are honest and reliable people and I would definitely use them again. read more

Jeff & Chase were amazing to work with! They refinished 4 door frames, painted 4 doors and installed new hardware to doors perfectly. They were such great communicators and so detail oriented. They are so knowledgeable about their craft! We got a kind of door that made it harder for them to install but they figured out how to do it perfect. They fit our project in on a week notice so we could have it done by the time we list our house. They even fit in one more small floor transition project for us, amazing! If we weren't moving they would be my contractor go-to! Amazing service and they have been doing it for such a long time. Go with them! read more
