To start off, this office is busy.. so don't be surprised that there will be a wait to schedule. From my perspective, I see the hold time as more of a stamp of approval for a surgeon who is well sought after. And he surely is! Dr. Healy was on my radar for 13+ years before my surgery. After 2 children and the aftermath of breastfeeding, I have always wanted to correct the remaining "two problems"... haha! Of course, having cosmetic surgery is a huge decision, due to the risk and high price tag, so being extremely picky about your surgeon is the most reasonable thing to do. Now that I've reached my one year anniversary, I can say with full confidence - I AM SO BLESSED TO HAVE FOUND THIS OFFICE! My gosh... I have read reviews for other surgeons and I am so grateful for Dr. Healy and his staff for holding up their end of the bargain. Every appointment was made according to doctor's recommendations and all appointments were calmly completed by Dr. Healy himself. And I didn't even mention anything about the surgery itself!!.. This post is long over due. I've been a VIP member at Healy's for a few years - mainly doing facials and now I've added in lip fillers. Dr Healy's staff is amazing. I'm such a fan and they really got to know me on a personal level and always greet me by my name when I walk in. I really appreciate that! This is my second review for Dr. Healy's staff. I've been coming to here for almost 2 years now for facials and microneedling treatments. I've heard a lot of horror stories during my transformation, and if you haven't done your SX yet. I strongly advise you Doll's to seriously take the time out and do your research on your surgeon. I went to see Dr. Healy for a scar revision. He is an excellent plastic surgeon. He communicates well, provides options, and never pressures you into any procedure. I had to get Kenalog injections and he didn't even charge me for the last visit! He takes pride in his work. I wanted to wait a few months before I gave a review so I could really see the results and comment on my experience from start to end. I know when I was searching for a Dr. I looked at all the reviews and I wish some were more detailed. I was originally a 34B before 2 kids and the weight fluctuations. When I finally decided to do consultations I was still wearing a 34B with large gaps on the top. Really I was probably an A cup just in denial. How I described my ideal BA was natural but not too natural. I didn't want to spend all this money and come out wishing I had gone bigger. However, I am athletic and workout a lot. I didn't want them to affect my daily life. I explained this to Jackie and it sounded so dumb coming out. But she assured me she knew exactly the look I was going for. Why I decided on Dr Healy- He personally explained in great detail with awesome visual aids exactly the step by step process of BA and the difference in implants and incision location. Which was helpful to both my husband and I. Dr. Healy's staff did the sizers and I liked that they started off on the smaller size working up and actually listened to the look I was trying to achieve. This won me over. The fact that they actually listened and didn't try to make me go larger then I was comfortable took away all the fears and uneasiness I was feeling after my consult with a different Dr. I booked my appointment with Dr. Healy that day. Surgery day and after- I had the first appointment of the day 7 am. I felt so at ease and absolutely no anxiety that day. The surgery is done in office they have a sterile surgery room in the back. My nurse was so friendly and attentive from beginning to end. I just remembered walking to the surgery room and laying down and them telling me I'm gonna wake up with boobies. Pain- literally I had none post surgery. I know everyone is different. But I took the pain meds the first day after surgery but discontinued it by the second day. I had minimal swelling and absolutely no bruising. I did have muscle spasms they weren't painful just kinda annoying. They completely went away around the 8 week mark. I had my surgery in June 2018 and it's now December 2018 exactly 6 months post op. They have dropped beautifully and are absolutely perfect. I can show them off when I want to and play them down when needed. They look and feel so natural. I forget I had a BA. I choose 400cc High Profile Under arm incision Under the muscle I am now a 34 D. My scar which is under my arm is healing beautifully and almost invisible. It sits perfectly in a natural crease of my armpit. Dr Healy did an amazing job. From the first consult to the checkups he always made me feel important and never rushed me out. His staff from the time you check in is always so friendly and accommodating. DR HEALY & THE ENTIRE STAFF HAS BEEN NOTHING SHORT OF AMAZING. I went in for a breast augmentation and am now 4 months post op. When I initially met with Dr Healy and Jackie for a consult, I felt so comfortable from start to end. It's been almost 3 months post op and decided it was time to write my review from start to finish. I've been thinking about breast augmentation for a few years and I finally had the guts to get it done. I did my research and narrowed it down to 3 dr's. Out of the three ONLY ONE gave me the time of day to consult with me, and that was the one and only Dr. Healy. All the ladies in the office to include Dr. Healy were amazing, nice and made me feel like family. The consultation went great and I knew just from that one day I was going to get my surgery done with Dr. Healy. Jackie, who helped me figure out what size would be great with my figure, did not push me to get the biggest size possible and made me realize what the breast size would look like when it was time to compete again. After the consultation I immediately set my surgery day so I could get it done ASAP. During my pre-op appointment, Dr. Healy was very thorough about the process, from anesthesia to risks and how to take care post-op. Fast forward to surgery day, I had all the feels of anxiety and nervousness because I have never had any surgery before this. The nurses and the anesthesiologist made me calm and comfortable and made sure I had nothing to worry about and that I was in the best hands. We go into the operating room, the Dr tells me he's gonna give me something to relax and the next thing I know, I'm waking up in recovery. I love Dr Healy and his team! I truly believe that when you're opting for an elective surgery you're basically putting your life in your doctors hands, and boy am I glad I did with Dr Healy. From the get go his whole team has been awesome - I was made to feel extremely comfortable from my first consult, with the phone calls between his patient coordinator Jackie, to pre op and then finally post op. Jackie was SO sweet and made me feel important, and not like another notch on the head post. Dr. Healy stood out to me because his patients have nice clean scar lines. This is very important to me because a scar after a tummy tuck is inevitable. However, it is the skill of the plastic surgeon that results in clean fine lines, instead of a butchered appearance. During my consultation Dr. Healy was confident that he could deliver the results I was looking for. After the consult I met with his wife Jackie who discussed pricing and scheduling options. Dr. Healy was the 2nd surgeon I consulted with and the one that I ended up selecting. Best decision ever. Their entire team is top notch. I cannot say enough good things about them! They really go the extra mile to make you feel comfortable. After 4 kids (the last 2 were over 10 pounds) I was in need of a tummy tuck!! I got tired of my tummy sitting on my thighs when I sat down. I worked out and ate right and could not lose my tummy..I looked 5 months preggo all the time. I would envy those moms who could rock bikinis. Anyways..so what do you do when you are finalizing a divorce from a cheating husband? You get a new tummy lol!! I was able to get a consultation the same week and had my procedure booked the following month. Dr Healy never made me feel uncomfortable or rushed!! Yes, I seem to get undressed in front of that man a lot! Yes, a tummy tuck is not cheap but aren't we worth it?! I like that the doc has a certified operating room in his office and he handpicked his anesthesiologist and OR nurse. Surgery went great. Recovery was no walk in the park. I took 2 1/2 weeks off from work and had the ex watch the kids. Yes, there were times I questioned why I voluntarily opted to have them cut me open. Fast forward 3 months..my tummy looks amazing...I can wear whatever I want, and most importantly my confidence is back. Oh and I finally rocked that bikini!! I would do it again in a heartbeat. I've had a great experience with Dr. Healy and his staff. My surgery went great (I had a breast augmentation, tummy tuck, and arm liposuction). I had a few questions and concerns after my surgery but I was always able to reach Jackie on nights and weekends by email or text (you can even call if you want!). She would discuss my concerns with Dr. Healy and let me know what to do. If there was anything he wanted to see me for, I got an appointment the next day. I'm only a little over 5 weeks into my recovery but I get better every day. I always have questions when I go in and Dr. Healy answers them all. Jackie always has a smile and kind word!
