I'm really happy I chose Dr. Benjamin Chu for my breast augmentation. I had mu surgery done on 6/2026. From the beginning, Dr. Chu made me feel comfortable and was very honest with me about what would work best for my body. I really wanted cleavage, and Dr. Chu understood what I was looking for. He was right when he told me my breast won't be that big, I was afraid of looking too huge, so he explained the measurements and what size would work for my frame. If you don't want to go too big for your body or just perfect, I would definitely trust his experience because he knows his stuff! Sandy and Hyun were also amazing. I followed my highly successful breast lift and reconstruction with Dr. Chu earlier this year with abdominoplasty and brachioplasty in August. Dr Chu responded with they were misplaced. If they were misplaced why sign a letter saying they were destroyed? How did they get misplaced for a MICP review? Then magically found AFTER my statues were run out? Shady. And how could I when you had "misplaced" my records come to you to fix all the mistakes you said Schlesinger committed. Dr. Chu was the best experience ever. I wasn't hesitant when choosing him because I've heard so many great things about his practice. I'm so happy with my results. The healing process was of course a challenge for me but Dr. Chu was super attentive to me with every question and concern before, during and also after my BA. I'm so so happy I chose to go with him. This is my second time seeing Dr. Chu for breast augmentation. My first surgery was in 2013, and I did not take the proper care advised by Dr. Chu. I typically do not scar well (prone to keloids), so we went with the textured implants, unfortunately I did end up getting capsular contracture in both breasts. Listen to Dr. Chu...I did not. I didn't wait long enough to start wearing a bra, and I did not do the massages as long as I was told. Also, the workouts I was doing throughout involved a lot of arm movements and push-ups, which did not help my case at all. After seeing Dr. Chu the second time he advised we do a breast revision to remove the extra scar tissue that had developed. He also advise we go with a different implant, as the textured really didn't do it's part in preventing additional scarring (my words not his). Dr. Chu is great. He doesn't beat around the bush, he's honest, and is very thorough. I am definitely super cautious this time around and am listening to everything that was advised. I am 3 weeks post OP and my breasts look and feel amazing. Just recently came in for a lip lift. I've had filler since i was 19. The thing about lip filler is it can make you look like a duck. Or if you get bad filler it could migrate and make you look like you have a cat mouth . This is by far the most undetectable surgery in the history of ever ! He puts the incision in your nostrils so you cannot even see it now my lip has a natural pout to it and still looks full . Will save me time and money from always having to do filler . Totally worth it for boosted confidence and overall satisfaction 100 . A few months ago I experienced a ruptured Breast implant. Being the spazz that I am, I called multiple doctors to try to get an appointment to fix it. Had second and third opinions from some Asian doctors in Asia who has gazillions of experience in those case of surgeries, all said it was a problem of where the cut was made that's a obvious mistake of inexperience doctor. My friend had Botox and other stuffs performed by him also was made her face messed up by him. And he accused that for her age. In 2017, I underwent gastric bypass surgery and after losing nearly half of my body weight, I was left with sagging skin almost all over my entire body due to my weight being evenly distributed. My major problem areas were my upper arms, my breasts, and my waistline. I wanted to get started on the next step in my life, but since I still planned to lose more weight, I decided to start with an area that would be least impacted - my breasts. They were extremely saggy, and my nipples basically pointed at the ground. Exercise wasn't going to fix that, regardless of what I did. The skin was already stretched, and much like the rest of me, they were left deflated. I was looking to do a natural lift with just implants rather than having a lift and implants done. I just didn't like the idea of having a lift at my age, as I've yet to have any kids. I had my first consultation with Dr. Chu in December of 2018 primarily for the experience and to get a rough estimate of the cost. He and his staff were all extremely friendly and welcoming the entire time. As someone who doesn't feel comfortable being naked, even in the dark, I oddly enough didn't have a problem with having my shirt removed and my problem areas examined. Unfortunately, I didn't have the time available to take off from work for the surgery, nor the adequate funds, but I had made my decision then that I was going to move forward with him once those two things became a reality. Fast forward to May 2020, I was laid off from work in March thanks to the coronavirus and realized it was the perfect opportunity. I was so excited that I did the down payment over the phone with Olivia Chu, his patient coordinator, and booked my surgery date before even going back in for an updated consultation. I wanted to have everything scheduled and paid for as soon as possible because I had been waiting for two years and it was finally happening. I didn't want to wait any longer. Getting the look that I wanted, with out a breast lift, was very unlikely, and he informed me of this. He would do the best that he could, he assured me, but it was still possible that a lift may still be necessary. I was perfectly fine with that. I was not going into this expecting perfection. I even accepted the possibility that my breasts wouldn't lift at all and that they'd just be bigger. Things happen, bodies adjust and heal differently. These were all things I accepted and understood. I didn't have unrealistic expectations or standards. However, we're a little over 2 weeks post-surgery now, and in all honesty, I could not be happier with my results. I went with 560cc and with the lowering of my natural underboob line, they look amazing. Dr. Chu did a fantastic job and they look better than I could have ever imagined. My self-esteem has skyrocketed from the first day my bandages came off and a lot of my friends constantly wonder why I haven't yet started wearing tighter clothes to show them off, haha. My nipples are no longer staring at the ground in depression, and the size goes well with my frame, as I actually have a pretty big ribcage. I personally don't think another doctor could have done a better job. I've extensively researched my options for years and I stand by the decision I made to go with Dr. Chu and plan to go back to see him when I want to get my upper arm lift and my lower body lift done. His patient coordinator, Olivia, who conversed with and assisted me from my first consultation in 2018 and throughout this experience in 2020, is extremely friendly, well-informed, and very personable. For years, I've been wanting to get a breast implant/ breast augmentations/ boob job... you name it So of course I had a lot of time that I have been researching and looking up reviews. Honestly some reviews from some people are ridiculous so I have to see it myself and use my own judgment. I picked top 3 doctors and I went to the first one about two years ago, I did not feel good about it and had a lot of hesitation at the time. Never went back. So finally meeting Benjamin Chu was truly a professional and easy. Benjamin seemed very calm and he was very easy and I understand him clearly. When we were discussing about this process and he asked me what size I was looking for and I told him what I wanted. He smirked and doesn't look surprised lol. He gently blunted with me with an honesty and said "it's gonna be big" and doesn't even argue and gave me what options from smallest to the biggest I can go with a few brand of silicone/saline samples. Then Olivia took over to discuss with me until I've made my decision. I feel very comfortable with both of them and placed my confident in them. Told Olivia "Go Big or Go Home" and so it's official that Ive gone BIG, but still go home lol but with confidence and happiness. It has only been a week since I had a breast implant.. I did not feel any hesitation since Day One. At two weeks pre-op, I received prescriptions that expires within 24 hours so they give you a lot of time to pick up meds before your surgery day. That really helps! Lori M's review is spot on. I love everything about this man, his skills and his nurses. I have heard so many good things about him and now I can say I can be the one to refer him. He is a perfectionist in every way! I love the technology in his office. I have never had to wait long for appointments. Everything planned is discussed thoroughly. There is a reason for the 'best of the best' awards on the wall. His breast augmentation pictures in the albums all look symmetrical and natural and his route of surgery plus the referrals were the ultimate reason I chose him.
