Took my Jeep in to have them check the clutch pedal operation and a chatter after having another shop replace 4 clutch master cylinder kits with the same improper operation result. It also had two clutches, brand new trans, and everything inside the bell housing replaced at the previous shop (also a "jeep" shop). They called me 4 days later and tell me nothings wrong with it. Seriously? And still charge me $140 to drive my car. I couldn't get back there quick enough to pick up my rig. I've been working on cars since before I could see over the fenders. There is no question this thing is not operating correctly. The fact they were unable to identify that is concerning. My recommendation is do it yourself if you can. I haven't even started my whole statement and the fact that I had the part, the owner interrupts while I'm talking and immediately informs me that "customer provided part isn't covered by his insurance"! If you're a service provider and you right away narcissistically cut-off a potential customer while they are speaking is one to heavily consider and think twice in bringing their vehicle in for repair only because right of the start he's practically telling me that if he "gets sloppy" with his work quality, he will not guarantee it because he's not able to profit from his own purchased parts! Using "my insurance will not cover me" excuse is a fast way for me to get turned off and quickly turn around & walk away! Seriously! Rude! It's a signal light housing which involves a few screws! Ridiculous & offensive! Boy bye! AND PEOPLE, FIRST READ THE COMMENTS OF THE WHOEVER POSTED AS WELL. Update: the tie rod lasted about 2 years then failed, likely because the guys at Jeep Solutions didn't install the zerk fittings and the bushings ran dry for several months until I noticed. I went back and they added grease and fittings but by that time I'm sure damage was done. I just found out that rather than replace my tie rod ends they removed my whole Teraflex tie rod and replaced it with a cheap one that can't be serviced. Why the Hell would anyone do this!? Now I have to spend another $600 for a new one!!! I wish I had never found Jeep Solutions. I should have just done the work myself. read more

Today I took my 1991 Jeep Cherokee it was sounding very loud. I spoke with James one of the mechanics and he got me in the schedule right away. Pre-ordered the part and told me that I could leave my jeep there the same day and they will have it ready in the next day. I did have to call him to find out the status on the repair they said it's almost ready and come down and get it. The mechanic that worked on my vehicle was Brian he was fantastic courteous and caring and he pointed a couple other things that should be taking care of the jeep, my power steering line was leaking and some other minor repairs should be done. I have a 2019 Jeep Wrangler JLU. When I bought it used a few years a ago I immediately noticed a death wobble and after several weeks and a few days of having to take off work the dealership finally did something about it and fixed it. That experience alone has made me very uncertain about my dream Jeep. Fast forward to a few months ago. I took my jeep into a different dealership to address an alignment issue. The Jeep was drifting to the right. They said they could do nothing about it cause my caster was not adjustable (I have a 2.5" spacer lift) I then went to an alignment place and they insisted that I needed to get adjustable lower control arms. I did and installed them to specs. Then I went to a different alignment shop that I was told did 4x4's. They were able to adjust some of the alignment issues by rotations my tires a specific way. Now to the present. A few days ago I noticed my death wobble was back and my anxiety sky rocketed. I had an appointment with the dealership this morning and they totally blew me off. That's when I went to Yelp to find an alternative. Jeep solutions popped up and I though I'd give them a chance. Immediately I felt like not only was Brian paying attention to what I said, but I he knew what I was talking about. I felt immediate comfort in knowing that someone who understands Jeep Wranglers throughly would be helping me out. After a completely reasonable fee to check the Jeep out and a little additional payment for labor.... I am extremely happy to report that all of my issues have been fixed!!! I called and spoke with Noel who was polite and answered all my questions. I came in for a leveling kit for my girl's JK. They quoted me a real good price w/alignment. I supplied the parts and I was able to secure a spot that week and in a couple hours her JK was ready. We were both happy with the work and definitely love the treatment we received here! I was satisfied with the results from the JK that I brought in my JL the following week for the same thing, to add spacers because I installed a winch. Do not come here if you have any level of intelligence, even more so if you have experience in auto mechanics and engineering. I called for a quote to install air lockers and was told by the man on the phone that: A) Jeep Solutions does not install customer supplied parts. B) ARB lockers will not fit like OEM-equipped lockers. C) ARB lockers leak a lot and they have a lot of people come in with that as their chief complaint regarding ARB air lockers. D) ARB quality is garbage because it's made in China and I should have gone with some other options. Let's address these comments from the Jeep Solutions customer service which actually helped me to never give them any business: First of all, I never buy anything from a shop especially during COVID because of up charges. I get it, but I also have to eat...not just the business owner. Secondly, nothing EVER fits like OEM but that's why you follow tolerances, so what was the point of that comment besides making yourself look stupid? Third, ARB lockers do not inherently leak because of their design. They leak due to installation error. Seems like Jeep Specialties doesn't know how to install air lockers which explains so many return customers. Finally, why would you bash a customer's decisions? This is not how to gain a customer or even keep a customer. ARB is NOT made in China unless you have fake items...which curiously has me thinking what they install in a customer's rig if they don't install customer supplied parts. Let that sink in. The Jeep community is held afloat by good shops and good recommendations. With a name like "Jeep Specialties," you'd want to make sure you keep a good name but it seems you serve the specials out there and employ the same. They should just change their name to "Wrangler Specialties." Go to another shop because this place is apparently ran by shade tree mechanics that are resting on their laurels of times past. read more

I had a very similar experience to others that left a review. I brought my Jeep in for a general inspection as we were set to head out on a long trip including 200+ off-road miles off the grid. I showed up for an appointment on-time and stood there for 15 minutes before someone acknowledged me. They did the inspection including another service. I called back later that afternoon inquiring about when the Jeep was going to be done. "Your Jeep has been done, someone already called you.". Actually, no one did. Then, I had some parts I attempted to install. As is the case with self-installs sometimes you run into an issue. Called them to help install...didn't get halfway through my sentence before I got interrupted "we don't install customer bought parts.". Okay. I get why they may not want to do it. I had another mechanic do it and they were appreciative of the business. Just rude customer service though. Finally, I reached out again to get some help. Needed an install (they were free to purchase, would never dare make that mistake again) and help with a couple other issues. No response at all. They may do wonderful work for some, but I'm sorry the customer service isn't good. As a Jeep owner, I'm looking to build a relationship. Someone local that will help consult on my build, that I know I can count on when I need it. Just not really the service I need. read more

Called up a few shops around my local area in the central Orange County area when my 2014 grand Cherokee developed a loud ticking sound. Based off the research I had done it sounds like an extremely common issues to have rocker arms go bad causing a tick. When I had called these shops and told them the situation they told me that they can do their diagnostic and figure out the problem from there. I mentioned that I'm pretty sure it's rocker arm failure from the research on the internet/YouTube video reviews etc. The response I got from all 3 shops was that it's very unlikely that will be the problem and will most likely require significant engine repair. When I asked how much it would be IF and only IF that was the issue and only 1/3 shops wanted to answer that question and gave me an "rough estimate of $2500-3500" but won't know unless they do pretty significant digging into the engine. I looked outside of my region and called over to a shop by the name of Jeep Solutions and spoke to Brian. I informed him of the symptoms my Jeep was experiencing and without advising him of my thoughts he explains how common rocker arms fail and how that's more then likely the issue but could possibly have caused some damage to the camshaft if it's gone too long and let me know that for a very reasonable diagnostic fee they can figure out what the issue is no matter what it takes to figure it out. I loved his attitude and made me feel like he had my best interest in mind meanwhile keeping it realistic. He got me in within the same week as other shops were giving me anywhere from 1-3 week lead times and by the NEXT business day called me back to let me know that it will only need one row of rocker arms and the camshaft is totally fine! Brian is so transparent and genuine as a person. I gave him the green light to repair and within one more business day it was all done! Incredible experience and believe me when I say you won't find a better price! I couldn't believe how reasonable they are. These are guys that absolutely love what they do and you can tell when they spend their off time working on their own jeeps. I'm a mechanic with 12yrs of experience but due to not wanting to void warranty I didn't want to work on my own vehicle. My Jeep has been to 3 different dealerships and I've had the radiator replaced twice, a grille replaced, two thermostat replaced and an oil cooler replaced. The dealers had told me things ranging from "it's your tire size" to "242° is normal coolant temp". I knew it wasn't and brought it to Jeep Solutions. Right off the bat the guys here listened, retained the info and jumped on my Jeep within a day. Noel was the tech here, he installed a OEM thermostat and burped the system and my Jeep is running awesome!!!! It has been over a year since I've seen the Jeep run cool on the fwy.
