The entire team is incredibly knowledgeable, accommodating, and always takes the time to answer any questions we have. Recently, we had to say goodbye to our dog, and the staff handled an extraordinarily difficult moment with so much sweetness, kindness, and grace. We are deeply grateful for their compassion and couldn't ask for a better veterinary team.

I had made an appointment to get my German Shepherd a medicated bath with the actual Vet. He told…read moreme they needed to keep him for several hours after his bath in case he had a reaction. I was told to bring him in at 730 sharp so they had time to bathe him and wait the allotted time. I was to pick him up at noon, when they closed. Nobody showed up until 8. When i returned at noon the Vet displayed confusion as to why my dog was there. He got more and more agitated, telling me that he had already told me they had to keep him all day. They didn't bathe him. They left him in the kennel all morning, untreated. I got upset with the way his voice kept rising over mine. Finally i enough of being shouted at, and demanded my dog. The Vet banged his hands down on the counter and screamed at me that i was crazy, i was crazy and get the hell out. The veterinarian did this. Screamed at me. Called me crazy and told me to get the hell out. It was the most unstable reaction I've ever seen in my life. I would NEVER trust such an unhinged person with the life of my dog. EVER. I'm so in shock right now. I can only hope someone reads this before going to see them!!!

I don't understand why it's so freaking difficult to find a groomer to actually do everything you…read moreask them to do. I called and told them what I needed for my border collie. I brought him in this morning and went over everything again and the girl wrote all the stuff down on a clipboard. Yet, they could not seem to cut his nails nor brush his teeth, yet they charged me for doing his nails. His nails are still long and uncut. I drove 30 minutes to them because I can't seem to find a decent groomer to save my life, and they asked me to bring him back tomorrow and they will try harder to get his nails done. I work for a living and do not have time to go back to a groomer twice in one week to get them to do what they should have done TODAY!!! So far, Mississippi TRULY sucks when it comes to pet groomers! This is the 5th or 6th groomer I have gone to. And these people let me down, too.

I've actually used this clinic over several years for puppy vaccinations. Unfortunately this was my…read morefirst time using them for a sick puppy. I'm not sure if they honestly thought my fur baby would be okay or if they just didn't want to tell me there was nothing they could do. Either way, I was very disappointed in the lack of compassion I received from two Michael's staff members. I originally brought my puppy in this week due to vomiting and loss of appetite. He was prescribed medicine and we were sent back home. Since he could not keep the medicine nor food down and showed no improvements throughout the night, I called back the next morning and spoke with the young lady at the front desk about my concerns. I even asked if I should bring him there or take him to the hospital instead. She nonchalantly told me to bring him in and they would see what they could do for him. My husband dropped him off around 10am. I left work around 4pm and realized I had not received any news so I called them for an update. I spoke with a younger guy over the phone who told me my puppy was fine, just laying around. I asked him did my puppy eat or show any signs of being hungry (this is day 4 without eating), he stated they did not try to feed him, but he wasn't vomiting so I could pick him up. At pick up, I was sent home with food, instructions on a different method to administer meds, and I was also told not worry so much if he doesn't eat. The following day, I noticed he still was not better but I refused to call the clinic so I took him to the animal hospital instead. While at AERC, I called Clinton Family Pet Clinic and asked if they tested him for parvo and they stated no because he was up-to-date on his vaccinations. Unfortunately while at AERC, I received the news about my puppy dying while I was on the phone with the younger male staff member at Clinton Family Pet Clinic. My exact words were, "Disregard, he just stopped breathing." The staff member's response was "Okay" and we got off the phone.... I will never return to this place. Not because my dog died, moreso due to the lack of compassion, information, and simply appearing as if they did not care.
