I went into JD sports Buchanan street for a new pair trainers …read more The staff were helpful & whilst I was looking asked me if I needed any help ! He advised me that I could also look at junior sizes as I am a size 5 . Good customer care , as I found a pair and they would of been more costly in Adult size :) 'Junior Nike Air Max 2017 ' £95 wow But worth it ! I found the staff patient with me as I took my time trying on other makes of trainers. And I also like the range of sports wear in this shop , although its a smaller shop to the Argyle st store . Pretty quiet & less Hustle ! My friend recommended JD sports as what they stock is Quality & indeed it is :) Also Open until 7pm ..

This store is a lot smaller than the huge JD on Argyle Street, but therefore feels a lot less busy…read more It doesn't look quite as nice but the customer service in this branch is good. I popped in today to buy some new trainers as my current ones were looking a bit worse for wear, and I was in and out within 20 minutes. I decided on the Adidas Gazelle ones, which were £75!!! In fact, all of the Adidas Originals shoes are £75, and they are that price in every shop, so maybe it is Adidas setting prices for stores to have. The store is a bit dated and hidden away from the world down an escalator from where Buchanan Street becomes Sauchiehall Street but as it is just a small doorway, many people overlook it in favour of the Argyle Street branch which is always buzzing. The quiet atmosphere of the store means that you will receive better customer service and to be honest, that is the most important thing about shopping.

Sneaker addicts alert!!!! When there is a drop in the US best believe this location will have the…read moreshoe about a month ahead of the US date. I have coped two different sneakers here before they came out. Recently was the Jordan 1 Taxis. I had them actually a few days over a month before they were released in the states. As someone that loves fashion...or shall I say sneakers, this makes me happy. There clothing selection is cool as well. They had something for everyone. Now when it comes to pricing it's about the same as the states. Of course their currency is different so make sure if using a card you know what option you want to charge the items. The customer service was great. Oh and the body guard at the front is about 8 feet tall. The man is a giant literally! I thought he was standing on a step stoll but nope. All in all when back in Scotland I will definitely take the time to check them out!

I make 0 excuses for my level of nike addiction. Literally 0. I love the clothes, love the value…read more(particularly at the outlet) and find the staff really helpful. I've shopped in here a couple of times, mainly for leggings and sports bras. They are always more than happy to help. There was one occasion I didn't find a great selection in store, so I was asked to leave my feedback online, so that they could see if any other customers had similar views. I basically love the Nike Pro Leggings range, at the time I found loads online but not in-store! The best bit about this store? The free exercise classes that run from here. On a Thursday from 5.30-6.30, it's Nike Training Club with Cam. Admittedly, a lot of people wouldn't like this. They rope off the middle section of the store, Cam has a boom box and has you sweating instantly, doing an hour of intense core and HIT training, from burpees, to squats and everything in between. So yeah, people look and wonder what's going on. But equally, it's a completely free class! After this from 6.30-7.30 there is the Nike Run Club, Thursday nights are a mix of interval training or timed 5-7km runs. There is a fantastic group of pace runners (seen in the volt yellow tops), who will encourage you around the session. The groups are mixed into times, so faster runs, slower runs etc. Everyone is so friendly. Throughout my sets, the faster runs continually said keep going etc. Sunday mornings start at 10.30, with longer distance runs which tend to last around an hour. Again this is completely free, a changing room is opened up and locked for people to leave there stuff. Many of the Nike staff themselves take part in the run club, so it's great to see a brand actually employing sporty people!

Okay, so the reviews below have pretty much got this business covered…read more But I have a little nugget of information about this place which needs to be shared. Not only do they sell a wide range of Ugg boots - metallic silver and gold styles included - they also sometimes include them in very generous sales. So every once in a while it's worth popping into Greaves, heading up to the second or third floor, and checking out the state of their Ugg prices. One time I was greeted with a beautiful pair of gold Uggs for the bargain price of £60. Let me put this in context for you, they're normally a HUNDRED and sixty. Sadly, they only had them in size 8. I did try them on, but even I had to concede that with my size five feet I looked like a clown. Definitely worth checking though!

I've been there a few times, and every time, I found exactly what I was looking for, and that I could not find elsewhere. From gift rugby/football jerseys to swimming or running equipment, I always found exactly what I was there for. The staff is very friendly and takes the time to help you properly. The range of brands and items is not as large as in other stores (but if you want more choice, their other glasgow store is a bit bigger I think!), but it is still 4 stories of products and as I said, there will be what you are after! (Ok, you can blame me if it's not the case:)) In terms of price, well it's all mainly big brands, so you won't find cheap deals there, but you can be certain it's going to be top quality.
