I went into JD sports Buchanan street for a new pair trainers …read more The staff were helpful & whilst I was looking asked me if I needed any help ! He advised me that I could also look at junior sizes as I am a size 5 . Good customer care , as I found a pair and they would of been more costly in Adult size :) 'Junior Nike Air Max 2017 ' £95 wow But worth it ! I found the staff patient with me as I took my time trying on other makes of trainers. And I also like the range of sports wear in this shop , although its a smaller shop to the Argyle st store . Pretty quiet & less Hustle ! My friend recommended JD sports as what they stock is Quality & indeed it is :) Also Open until 7pm ..

This store is a lot smaller than the huge JD on Argyle Street, but therefore feels a lot less busy…read more It doesn't look quite as nice but the customer service in this branch is good. I popped in today to buy some new trainers as my current ones were looking a bit worse for wear, and I was in and out within 20 minutes. I decided on the Adidas Gazelle ones, which were £75!!! In fact, all of the Adidas Originals shoes are £75, and they are that price in every shop, so maybe it is Adidas setting prices for stores to have. The store is a bit dated and hidden away from the world down an escalator from where Buchanan Street becomes Sauchiehall Street but as it is just a small doorway, many people overlook it in favour of the Argyle Street branch which is always buzzing. The quiet atmosphere of the store means that you will receive better customer service and to be honest, that is the most important thing about shopping.

Okay, so the reviews below have pretty much got this business covered…read more But I have a little nugget of information about this place which needs to be shared. Not only do they sell a wide range of Ugg boots - metallic silver and gold styles included - they also sometimes include them in very generous sales. So every once in a while it's worth popping into Greaves, heading up to the second or third floor, and checking out the state of their Ugg prices. One time I was greeted with a beautiful pair of gold Uggs for the bargain price of £60. Let me put this in context for you, they're normally a HUNDRED and sixty. Sadly, they only had them in size 8. I did try them on, but even I had to concede that with my size five feet I looked like a clown. Definitely worth checking though!

Greaves is pretty much THE place to shop for sports equipment of any kind if you don't know where…read moreto go. I've been there a few times, and every time, I found exactly what I was looking for, and that I could not find elsewhere. From gift rugby/football jerseys to swimming or running equipment, I always found exactly what I was there for. The staff is very friendly and takes the time to help you properly. The range of brands and items is not as large as in other stores (but if you want more choice, their other glasgow store is a bit bigger I think!), but it is still 4 stories of products and as I said, there will be what you are after! (Ok, you can blame me if it's not the case:)) In terms of price, well it's all mainly big brands, so you won't find cheap deals there, but you can be certain it's going to be top quality.

I'm writing this because I couldn't find the Hamilton location for JD Sports. Specifically Jade,…read morewho is roughly 18-20 was very rude and bossy. I asked for a trainer in my size and she said "COVID rules say I cant, so you should get ur urself" I was in total shock, her coworkers were all getting shoes and other items to the customers. I came in later the same day with my daughter and saw her bossing around everyone while BLOWING HER NOSE ON A CELTIC FOOTBALL CLUB SHIRT. I don't care if you support rangers or celtic, that is just utter disgust and she needs to be checked out immediately.

What should have been a normal shopping day turned into a nightmare with this parkhead j.d store. They tried to scan them but there scannner wasn't working so she shouted over the manger & told him so he then told me because I couldn't return to there store as he said they have partnership with Nike i told him i had just spoke to JD. Sports returns on a fone call who told me i was due a refund. The retail made me feel like i had done something wrong then humiliated me by asking me to leave the store. Then called the forge security who listened to the facts heard me speaking to j.d on the fone & said i wasn't welcome back in JD but was fine to go do the rest of my shopping in the forge. The manager both infact joe & Jordan heavy heckled me & smirk telling me to go complain to who ever i wont & the little blonde headed cashier who's name i dont know acted like she in a dead end job but acting if she better than her customers. Im went from angry to puzzeled why i was try this way. I told them i'll never shop there again & got told good. I will never be bk in there shop. Totally ruined my day.
