There is a large selection of waterproof jackets and accessory says well as the usual scarves, hats and gloves with some items being on sale. Good solid boots, shoes and trainers as well as climbing gear & tents. Helpful staff dotted around if you need any help or advice.

While I'm not so much interested in the army side of things (and believe me, they have virtually everything you could think of), as someone who is partial to the odd bit of hillwalking I found the range of outdoor accessories to be thorough and very reasonably priced. As well as walking boots and backpacks, they also stock handy little odds and ends such as first aid kits, cutlery etc... What's more, the staff are very friendly and more than happy to help you find exactly what you are looking for, even if you are an absolute beginner.

Considerably cheaper than the likes of Tiso, this is a good place for outdoor gear with recognisable brands. Discover staff forgot to take off tag from bag, requiring another visit to store to have it removed. Staff quizzed me on receipt of purchase and only apologised for their error after confirmation I had purchased. So they basically were suggesting I stole the bag until otherwise proven. Train your staff better, have codes on all your products so you don't waste my time, check you have removed all security tags on purchase . Very very basic things

It has everything you would expect, and some more things you might not expect like those big funky yellow suits that are just like having a human-shaped sleeping bag on. If only I had the money..

Here you can buy everything from football strips and dartboards, to javelins, golf trollies and punchbags. The selection is massive, and the staff know what they are talking about. A few years back I'd have given them 5, but sadly now their collection of football strips isn't quite as charmingly obscure as it once was. Not long ago you'd find Red Star Belgrade and FC Basle here, but now its mainly British and Champions League European teams. I might start a campaign for them to bring back the Z list.
