New York strip combo with rock shrimp
    C B.

Tried a new place instead of the traditional beachside restaurants we frequent. Looked up this place due to the reviews and it held up its reputation and then some. We will be back due to the quality of food and especially the hospitality. We got the NY strip and 2 orders of rock shrimp. Stuffed Mushrooms as an app. Everything tasted home made and fresh.

    Conch fritters!

The food was amazing. They served the best conch fritters that I ate in NSB and introduced me to Rock Shrimp, which are simply amazing. The food tastes so good!

Parmesan Encrusted Salmon, baked potato, and hush puppies.

That said, the food matches up with outstanding food experience in taste, presentation and overall culinary offerings!! I missed photos of our starters; Soup of the Day - Crab and Corn Chowder and Potato Latke. The chowder had great flavor and plenty of vegetables and crab with each bite. The base was thinner than a traditional chowder but still very delicious. Latkes were good but I saw the foie gras go to another table and wish we had tried that instead. All of the entrees were delicious. Filet was cooked perfectly and had great flavor. The Tile fish was beautifully prepared. Very light and flavorful with the fennel salad and bean cassoulet. The winner was the House-made gnocchi. Deep in flavors and the gnocchi melted in your mouth. Because they were made with flour (vs potato), they were like pillows of goodness on a plate. We were tapped out...and then we looked at the dessert menu. Banana pudding caught our attention and it did not disappoint. Beautiful layering of banana jam (think banana foster), pudding, wafers and whip cream. Great end to the meal! We will be back...maybe even twice on trip!

This turned out to be one of the biggest surprise eateries of the year for me…read more This little spot, beachside New Smyrna Beach, has quietly been winning hearts and if a place lasts more than a year, that's usually a very good sign. One morning, out with friends enjoying ocean walks and ocean views we were all hit by those mid-morning hunger pangs, someone asked if we'd ever tried it. I'll admit, I was skeptical. I didn't know a thing about the place. But I trusted the company I was with, and I'm so glad I did. Breakfast here is pure comfort food--the kind that reminds you of lazy mornings by the shore, shared laughs, and time spent with people you actually enjoy. The food is genuinely delicious, the waffles are a must, and the coffee? Top notch--always a win. The menu has plenty of choices without feeling overwhelming, perfect for a casual morning out near the beach. It's not fancy, it's not trying to be, and it's not forgettable. It's just right. A true surprise and absolutely worth coming back to. If you're near the beach in New Smyrna Beach and craving a breakfast that hits all the right notes, check this place out. You won't be disappointed.

I went for the waffle topped with bananas, strawberries, and Nutella. It was SO good! It was so good that we ordered waffles the next morning and brought them back for takeout to have at our temporary place. The service was excellent and it is recommended to check out the place. The Pittsburgh Steelers thing was a little imitating. so the only thing I got to say is Go Dolphins!

While the kitchen team is firing on all cylinders, your seating choice will entirely dictate your experience. The outside seating is lovely, relaxing, and wonderfully quiet--perfect for a peaceful dinner. However, the inside seating gets incredibly noisy and loud, making it difficult to hold a conversation. We highly recommend requesting a table on the patio to enjoy this phenomenal meal in the fresh air.

We learned our lesson last time and just ordered three plates instead of four with our family of 4 and just enjoyed the plates family style. Their serving sizes are huge and if you're on vacation, that makes leftovers really difficult! So I would recommend getting one plate less than your party and sharing! Plus they have live entertainment on nights and an outdoor bar for those who are waiting for a table. The table comes with their roasted garlic and fresh baked bread. The roasted garlic is drizzled in olive oil and balsamic vinegar. I loved this and my only complaint is that since it's mashed and kept in the original clove and not peeled, you do miss some of the garlic and the little bits get into your mouth. So this gets an 8/10 for me. We tried the artichoke dip, which was a 9/10. It was rich and I don't think people know how much prep artichoke takes and how delicious it is. I got the seafood cannelloni. This was cheesy and rich and a lot. The waiter did warn me, I did not finish the dish. I did take it home. The overall meal was on the more expensive end. I do highly recommend trying this place at least once for locals and visitors. Not to mention, I had some drinks and they have dessert in the form of drinks. We did also actually get dessert, which was a key lime pie.

Friends, I must confess: I should not have waited this long. Just like Uncle Chicken's across the way, everything here is prepared with love and care. I had the meatloaf. It's prepared with big cubes of white cheddar, bacon, and ground meat, then pressed together into a juicy, almost cubed steak consistency, then finished off in a cast iron skillet with a sweet red sauce and sliced fresh jalapeños on top. I kid you not when I say I had to look my mother in the eyes and say this was better. The sweet, spicy, and savory flavors all melded together in my mouth in a jubilee of taste, and the skillet serving style ensured the food stayed piping hot and fresh throughout my meal. I had it with asparagus (very yummy and cooked alongside in the skillet) and au gratin potatoes (consistency and flavor of a wonderful, creamy macaroni and cheese). My parents shared the pork souvlaki. They report that it was wonderful. The pork was perfectly juicy (I hate dried out pork), and this place has the best tzatziki you'll find this side of the Mediterranean. We finished off our meal with a southern comfort classic: peach cobbler. Just like everything else, it was delicious. Ever since Cracker Barrel replaced their blackberry cobbler with the current travesty of a dessert they pretend is cobbler, I've been looking for a replacement. This hit the spot. The location is perfect for the food, too. It feels like you've just been invited into someone's house for a potluck dinner. Staggered lighting across the ceiling (with some red, green and blue lights) complete the dive look, while guitars, a Centipede arcade cabinet, and tons of chicken figurines line the room. You'll feel like you've traveled to the mountains of Appalachia as the soft bluegrass plays in the background and the smells of the kitchen caress your nostrils. Guy Fieri should have come here when he came through town a while back.
