NorthTown JCPenney, went to buy 2 men's suits searched and searched the men's dept and could not find a coat and slacks that matched because they were scattered everywhere. There was no one around to assist me and so I spent about 2 hours trying to find at least one suit. I was very surprised that the men's suit dept was in such a disarray. I decided to take my chances and go to Kohls online and order 3 suits and delivered to my home. I actually met an amazing young woman in cosmetics on Saturday - Taimith - but when I went to pay , I discovered that my purse was missing! . Her shift was over but her replacement saved my potential purchases while I had a minor panic attack. The security people were wonderful but they could not find my purse! I left the mall without my car keys, my wallet, my glasses & my phone! I was very stressed out, but the next day my friend(s) & I went back, & as we were contemplating how to use the " find my phone" app, a woman walked toward us with my purse! It had been next to a display, hiding in plain sight! Anyway, kudos to Taimith for patiently helping me put on some makeup because I had run out the door with none. What a relief not to have to replace my I phone, my driver's license, etc.! Thanks to all the security staff at Penney's & also Kohl's who tried to help. read more

Shop online and do a pick up and never walk into the store! That's what I did. Shopping online for what I needed (several hand towels) was easy. Once I received the email stating that my order was ready for pick up, I just drove to the store. I think that the hardest part was finding where the parking stalls were for the pick orders. However, the instructions were pretty clear; I just didn't know the area that well, but eventually found the stalls. After I called to let them know that I was there, the clerk was out pretty fast, tossed my order in the trunk, and away I went! All COVID-free. read more

I went in today looking for a particular sweater and the cashier Kiersten went out of her way to help me. we found the last sweater and she even took it off the mannequin for me. the whole time she was helping me she still somehow managed to greet every guest that was coming in or leaving the store. JCPenney's northtown' is famous for this, it is they makeup their own rules when it comes to their coupons or advertisements at the time. Today for instance the sign says, $3 pink ticket clearance. That's all. So after about an hour of trucking through the store finding pink ticket items I go to check out. Out of my 13 items three we're only good for the $3 off. Now please tell me where and I ask them this and they said it's just the way it is. Where on the sign does it say there are exclusions. Nowhere on the signs is anything except for $3 pink ticket clearance. And I know for a fact that nationwide it is $3 for the pink ticket It doesn't matter if it cost $300 cost $1,000 or cost $12 you got it for $3 so I've been trying to get a hold of somebody at northtown Mall JCPenney's that can explain this to me some authority figure and would you believe it nobody is available. It was super empty tonight, I think thats because we came on a early-week night. Shoe rep asked us if we needed any help kindly, my wife was looking for shoes,and helped try to find her size in the back on some sale items. All in all it was an average experience. DO NOT BUY your furniture from J.C. Penny. How does a couch get delivered to your house but a loveseat to a P.O. Box?!?!? They couldn't apparently get a hold of the delivery driver to make the 5 city block drive and deliver the loveseat to my house.......which was already 2 hours late from the time frame that they gave me. I went around and around with 6 phone calls wasting time and the delivery gal I spoke to for the 4th time told me that they can't redeliver the couch today and hung up on me. This will be my FIRST and LAST purchase of anything requiring delivery from J.C. Penny. As I type this review.....7th phone call today and I have been on hold for 20 minutes requesting my refund of $125 for the delivery fee. read more

I was today at this store I just spent $100 my favorite brand is Arizona jeans everything was fine until the personal was checking on me the store empty like the normal weekdays. I got 7 items and tried couple in the fitting room but when I already paid my stuff I heard someone to said on the radios if somebody saw the guy with the black hat. I've been in this Sephora quite a few times and I always end up buying something whether it's eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara...I love Sephora's products but the entire staff has such an issue with customers who don't walk into their shop with a full face of makeup. I've seen other customers ignored or treated as if they are stupid and since I'm barely to the point of being confident in my personal makeup application, I feel the same way. My best friend and I have gone in and shopped together and while she is amazing at her application, I am not and we both had very different experiences with a certain associate. I am not sure if the woman with blonde hair that has a larger stature is the manager but she has been working every time I've gone in and if she is the manager, she has some customer service training she needs to catch up on. She is rude, will walk off in the middle of a question stating she is busy and that someone else will help...I'm to the point where I'm thinking of going across the street to Ulta to see if I can get better service who has an interest in connecting with their customers, said customers leaving their store excited to use the products they've purchased and not leave with more questions than when they walked through their doors. I have over ten years of customer service experience, with five of those years being in management so I know what should be expected from the company not just as a customer. Hair salon horrible! Made an appointment 5 days in advance but, they didn't have me in the book, but did in the computer so no one scheduled to take me. they had to scramble to find someone. I should have ran at that point. After discussing what I wanted, which was medium brown color with distinctive highlights I ended up with strawberry blond and no highlights! At 3x the cost of what I pay at community college hair school where I can get exactly what I want. If I could give zero stars I would, my horrible experience was with the sephora located in the jcpennys. First off two months ago I came here looking for advice on skincare, I was looking for some exfoliating face was to go along with a face cleanser I have (purity by philosophy). A lady there (a girl that looked like olive oil from Popeye) helped me choose an exfoliating from the same line named something like microdelivery exfoliating cleanser, it was slightly pricey (around $42, $45 with tax!) I was kinda iffy about buying because my skin is so freaking sensitive to new product. I asked about the return policy and explained my skin freaks out with new products and she assured me that if I had a receipt, I could have a refund. Well the face wash broke me out horribly. I used for a few weeks and no changes, I even began to use sparingly to see if the exfoliation was too much for daily use (even though the bottle says "gentle enough for daily use") no change. I brought back last weekend and spoke to an evil wench named Natalie, I explained my situation, she quickly took the bottle from my hand shook it, opened it up and shoved it back into my hands and states, "I'm sorry but there is too much product missing and I can't return it." I was taken back by how abrupt she was, there was well over a half of the bottle left. I asked if there was anything I could do because the face wash was expensive and I didn't want to have wasted money and I even explained that olive oil assured me that it could have been returned with receipt. She pierced her lips together and they said, "I'm so sorry, if there was something I could do, trust me, I would but there's not." with an attitude in her tone I said, I'm sorry but can I speak to your manager? She said "I am the manager, I'm who you would talk to and there is nothing I can do." Irritated and distraught, I walked away feeling like I had been screwed out of 45$. I went shopping for the rest of the day and I had to walk through jcpennys again to get to my car and I thought, you know, 45$ is a lot of money and I should try and return the item again. Olive oil was there this time and I said hey! I need to return this item. She said, "hi yes, and I believe you spoke to Natalie earlier and she said that there was too much product missing" I said yes and there is plenty of product there, the bottle doesn't come filled to the top when you get it. She said that she could ask another manager, she then called over a store manager named Wendy. She explained the situation and made it known that Natalie said there was nothing that could be done. Wendy was like an angel from heaven, she was completely on my side, she said, "well I know you need to use this stuff for a while before you know if you like it, yeah, go ahead and return it" . I could have screamed "HA!" right in her face. With an annoyed look on her face she returned my money. Needless to say I will never be going back and Natalie should not be a manager with the way she treated me. I wonder how many other people she's talked down to like this. read more

Everytime I come into the Sephora I'm always optimistic about the service thinking they could change. Today was my last straw with this location. I had been sold a Matte foundation a little while back and I came in to return it and didn't have my receipt explaining this to the woman she just looks at me like I wasn't speaking English and rudely says "okay?" I politely again told her it didn't work for me because it made my dry patches noticeable and she rudely again says "well it's a Matte foundation so..." Which I had told the lady at the time of purchase I had combination skin!!!! I politely asked for in store credit and started about the store. No one offered to help me find a new match for me, so I wandered for maybe 10min and a lady reminded me I had left my drink at the counter then walked away. Again was never offered any further assistance. Won't be coming back to this location. read more

My boyfriend got me a ring for Christmas in the Jewelry department in north town mall he payed for it a month ago when I called to get my ring the first time they said it's here but for some weird reason they didn't ship it out to get resized hmmm so it was just sitting there so I asked when can they ship it out and they said Friday they said I will get it the week of Christmas so now I called them on Monday the week of Christmas and now they say ummm I can't find ur ring idk sorry I will call u back so No one called me back so had to go in there yesterday I told a lady what's going on so she called the ring place to see what was going on and they said they over nighted it so I will be there tomorrow morning I said ok so then I left and went home then that night that called me and said I found ur ring and it's here I'm like ok weird so this morning I went in to get it and it wasn't there what the fuck!!!! Because someone called me without looking that it was there last night stupid girl named Katie I've been waiting a month for this ring now I have to wait after Christmas for my ring when they told me December 12. I guess anyone can work there because no one does there job all I have to say it jcpenny people u suck and I will be talking to your Manager about this and I will tell all of my friends never to shop there because no one what they are doing. read more
