I have always thought the staff were courteous but reading other reviews I would definitely acknowledge the 2 week return policy and thoroughly inspect any item I purchased or walk in the shoes on a rug before wearing out and about and expecting to be able return. I mostly purchase for my self and the return policy makes me think I would not purchase a gift more than a week beforehand with the return policy in mind. I think return policies evolve like this because people sometimes buy and wear shoes with a low threshold for returning. (Not everyone but some). I have never owned a business but this policy may be a business survival strategy. I respect that.

Once at the register the staff member would not honor my $10.00 off my purchase. I had to remind her to do so. I also asked for military discount. She then ran the transaction. When I looked at the receipt I noticed that no military discount was applied. When I approached the staff member she acted very condescending telling me that it would be "only 10%" anyway and I already had a $10.00 reward. I ask her re-ring the transaction and she plainly refused saying I can only have one or the other. Wrong: I did not asked to double a discount. I had a reward AND asked for a discount.
