This store is so messy. Piles of clothes everywhere and no employees in sight doing their job and recovering the salesfloors.

I went to a register to return something I had ordered online. I waited on this line for somewhere between 10 and 15 minutes. Once I finally got up to the register, the sales person informed me that I had to make my return in the housewares section of the store. I thought that since I was returning women's clothing, I could return it in the women's clothing section. I went back to the houseware section where I waited for another 10 minutes to 15 minutes. There should be a sign or something letting you know where to return online orders. It was so frustrating. read more

I have always shopped at JC Penny in Palmdale, I'm going start going to Sears and Kohl's for now on. I went on Saturday 18 June and couldn't believe how dumpy the store looked. Cloths thrown all over the place in all departments, The men's department changing room had 2 shopping cars full of cloths and more cloths stacked up on the couch. I tried to overlook the mess but then my wife and I got up to the register and I couldn't believe some of the slobs they had working behind the counter. One young lady had a white shirt on that didn't even fit her with stains all over it and standing at the cash register drinking a smoothie while helping customers. Other workers had flip flops and Capri shorts on. Just all around no professionalism what so ever. Does JC Penny even have a dress code? If not, you better get one started soon or your you're going to loose a lot of customers. I plan on calling the corporate office on Monday. read more

JCPenney portraits : I had my 9 month old pictures taken here, for Christmas. Upon booking the appointment I had asked if they had Christmas props for the photo, they advised they did but welcomed to bring our own things. When we got there we were shocked to see they had 2 trees and an ornament, if i knew that was all i definitely would have brought our own things. Not even a Christmas background! But with photographing a 9 month old I feel we needed more than 15 minutes, as half the time she's crawling around. Which i understand, and prior to booking they knew how old she was so they should have made a longer appt for her in my opinion. I felt like we were rushed, they sat her in 3 different poses and the photographer didn't really try much to even interact or get her to laugh really. Like no effort put in at all. St the end they wanted us to pay 200$ for a huge package of her photo with half the time she wasn't even looking. The one pictures we had printed out with them her foot was cut off. So we settled on a small package. We just picked up the photos this passed weekend and they were bent. Jen said she would replace them but would put us out another week till we get them for Christmas photos! So I declined. Kinda think I will not be coming here again read more

Hmmm... So disappointing. My daughters first 4 month portraits were done here. I'm so disgusted how this special day was ruined. First, I was completely rush through the whole process, they didn't use any props (nothing) and we had to hold our 4 month old baby up behind the curtain so she could take the picture. I thought we would go in be able to take our time get cute props in the pictures like I see people do all the time. They didn't even have a second person helping so my husband and I could watch and make our daughter laugh. She took 12 pictures and I was so upset I only like 3 of them. I would of spent a lot more money here and would have definitely came back for more if my experience wasn't so bad. I'm not sure if this is a corporate thing because the employees weren't rude I think they were just under staffed and have to rush people. Sad. I will take my daughter to Williams Edwards and pay the big bucks and get better quality and the time it takes to get great pictures. Just devastating as a first time parent and first time photos :( read more

last xmas all our oldest son wanted was a cheap wrist watch with a plastic band. for years and years we have shopped there. so we purchased it on sale. directions say water resist to 30 feet (wrong), wife and i returned to our store to meet smiling sales clerk maribel in jewelery dept. with no receipt - we paid cash. wife and i explained exactly the problems. maribel agreed and consulted with the manager cindy. we did not buy a extended warranty and was over the store policy for return, without grief of any kind we worked things out quickly. a great experience !!!!!!! thanks mostly to maribel and also cindy thru the company. read more
