The staff was rude and lacked any real knowledge or customer service skills AND my prescription was wrong (I cannot see out of them). When I called to report my situation, the woman at the front desk told me I needed to "give it two weeks" for my eyes to adjust. When I told her that I was having trouble reading or using a computer with the glasses, she suggested I move the object farther away until the text became clearer--completely ridiculous advice for prescription glasses. When I asked to speak with or schedule another appointment with the doctor, she refused and instead put me on hold, never returning to the call and finally I was disconnected. And surprise, no one ever called me back. The level of this group's unprofessionalism was shocking. Bottom line, the glasses were expensive, and I can't even use them. I plan on calling my insurance company, my credit card company, BBB and I am researching an eye care association or board to file a formal complaint. I strongly recommend avoiding this place. He referred me to a specialist who was able to make a huge difference in my vision with the use of medication. I went back to PV twice and they suggested returning to Modern Focus as the lenses matched the script. The Dr at MF said my vision changed and gave me less of a correction. I feel her 11/25 script was inaccurate but she said no and charge me $60 for the new one because I didn't buy glasses there. What a rip off! PV is making my new lenses for free. Now that's good customer service. Oh, and I was the doctor's first appt of the day and she arrived 15 minutes late to work. Like my time isn't worth anything? Needless to say, I canceled my next exam. I went to Dr Gould for years and always received excellent care and customer service. MF could use a little training on both areas.
