I had been doing well for over a year with no flare-ups, but this weekend, I developed a pretty severe case. Of course, the symptoms didn't manifest until Saturday morning, and I had an event on Sunday that I really did not want to miss. Fortunately, Dr. Cervantes was on call for the practice. I called the answering service and immediately received a callback. Dr. Cervantes could have easily told me to go to the ER and follow up with him on Monday. But he didn't. He met me at the office on both Saturday and Sunday and treated me in person. I was able to attend and enjoy my event on Sunday. Dr. Cervantes is a truly caring doctor.
