I have worked with two other contractors recently, and I can honestly say that they don't come even remotely close to the quality of work that Carlos and his crew provided. Carlos and Victor remodeled my entire bathroom, removing and reinstalling new tile, a vanity, mirror, light fixture, toilet and other bathroom accessories in addition to spackling and painting. From start to finish, Carlos demonstrated an extreme attention to detail and a genuine commitment to making sure everything was done properly. He does not cut corners, and he takes the time to do things the right way even when it requires extra effort. For example, he noticed that my bathroom floor was not properly leveled, something that could have easily been overlooked or simply worked around. Instead, he took the time to correct the problem and make sure everything was properly leveled before continuing with the project. He even painted door trim outside of my bathroom to make sure it transitioned well with the bathroom, something that was not his responsibility. That level of care and thoroughness is exactly what you hope for in a contractor. The spackling and painting were absolutely immaculate. I have hired professional painters in the past who did not come close to the quality of the paint job Carlos delivered. Painting is 90% prep work: sanding and spackling. You can tell when a contractor understands the difference prep work makes, and Carlos and his group certainly does. Carlos and his crew were also kind, respectful, professional, and a pleasure to have working in my home. They were extremely conscientious about keeping everything clean throughout the project. In fact, I commented to my husband that my house looked cleaner after they left than it did before they started! Another thing that really stood out to me was the pricing. His prices are more than fair considering the quality of work, attention to detail, and level of care he provides. You TRULY feel that Carlos takes pride in his work and wants his customers to be completely satisfied with the finished product. It is VERY rare to find that these days. I could not be happier with the work C&N Construction LLC did for me. If you are are fussy about the details and looking for a contractor you can trust, who is meticulous, honest, thorough, reasonably priced, and genuinely cares about doing the job right, I would HIGHLY recommend Carlos and his crew. They exceeded my expectations, and I would absolutely use them again for future projects.

Matt's was one of several estimates I sought, and pricing was all over the place. Matt's bid was competitive and fair, and he demonstrated a depth of knowledge and familiarity that made me immediately comfortable hiring him. Due to scheduling conflicts with another contractor installing a deck for me, I threw Matt a few curveballs. At least twice I had to ask him to move his start date, and when his team did arrive, the deck contractors were totally in his way. Throughout, Matt was patient and focused on his work. The guys he brought with him worked tirelessly over four days to excavate, remove old materials, prepare proper drainage missing from the old wall, rebuild the wall with new EP Henry pavers and regrade the area around the new wall - as well as around my driveway. Matt and his crew went above and beyond, doing extra regrading work not included in his estimate at no additional charge. And they cleaned up the work area at the end of the job beautifully. The wall looks so good that the old, shabby brick pavers by my pool now look sad by comparison. I'll be asking Matt Burns to come back to address that issue, and others, in the future. Hire Matt with confidence. You'll be glad you did. And if you have questions or want more details just message me. I'm happy to offer my strong recommendation of Matt and his team.

Matt wasn't a typical "sales-guy", but an owner who truly cares about customer service and satisfaction! We wanted something a little different on our home, and he was able to come up with ideas and provide visual images for his suggestions. His suggestion did not disappoint! We get compliments daily from neighbors and friends on the work! The first bonus was that instead of moving the start date back, as we were used to with contractors, JMS actually moved our start date up! They dropped the dumpster off at our home the day prior to the start of work, and actually started tearing the current siding down immediately. The team of workers were incredible, and were the same team used to complete the project at our house. The Team worked 11 hours a day, even in the blazing heat. They were never observed to be just hanging out, but working diligently. At the end of every day, they cleaned up entirely! Either Jim or Matt were on-site daily, ensuring things were running smoothly, and checking-in about any concerns we may have had. They were also available via phone/text/email before, throughout, and after the siding and gutters were completed. They chimed in on opinions when asked, and were extremely patient when we made a last minute decision about whether or not we actually wanted shutters installed. Going with JMS to have our siding and gutters installed, is a decision you will not regret! They go through every detail of their work with you ahead of time, and have excellent follow-through! We are SO happy and grateful we went with JMS!! Newtown, PA
