Dan did an outstanding job on the installation of a dryer vent. He is very meticulous timely and professional. We had several contractors come in and they could not figure out the right way to run the vent that wouldnt interfere with the opening and closing of the garage door. Well. Dan did. Do not hesitate to call him. He is the best in his trade. He will be our go to handyman . read more

Dan is a professional through and through from his timeliness to his excellent communication to his fantastic work! He did an amazing job on a deck rebuild for me. It is very difficult to find someone so honest that you can work with him on your rental when you live out of town. I will use him for all rental repairs from now on. I wish I found him years ago! Dan is professional, timely, hardworking and everything else you could wish for in a contractor. I cannot say enough about how fantastic our project turned out. Fair, accurate and upfront pricing too. 100% highly recommend! read more

Dan did a great job! I am so happy to have found a trustworthy contractor the does outstanding work. He and his partner are honest, good value, efficient, friendly, knowledgeable, and punctual. They are so well rounded. We had them do a bunch of different things to our home that including baseboards, dry wall, vanity installation, and will fix our outdoor house siding. He went above and beyond and went back and fourth to the store like 4 times for us to make sure he got the correct parts and that the job was done correctly. Thanks again! read more

I used Dan to help me replace an attic door & ladder in my home. It wasn't an easy job but Dan got the job done great for me. I'm glad I chose him to do this job for me as it wasn't that straightforward a job we found out. I was very pleased with the job he performed. Dan showed up on time and got straight to work. Would definitely use again for other projects around my house. Would recommend Dan and his work to others. read more

Dan is so professional. very dependable, did a great job in my bathroom that needed quite a few things done. if you need any kind of handiwork done. Dan is the man. I am also going to have him do some more work for me. So if you need anything done, I definitely recommend Dan does that. read more

Very cordial and make a good appearance but asked to be paid up front which is never a good sign. Further a repair to a master bedroom Skylight was said to be a "contractor's" job not a handyman. But clearly this should be in the realm of most skilled handy service people. read more

Dan Terrey is a crook and con artist. Dan completed the first phase of our job and was paid upfront. On the second phase of our job , again he was paid up front on a Friday. When it came time for him to start on Monday we were given EXCUSES. First he said both his kids were sick. Next he said he was in the hospital. EXCUSE after EXCUSE. So now 6 days later he finally shows up to resume work but instead I have video of him doing nothing but taking pictures of the previous work , gathering his tools and STEALING some of ours. He claimed he "wasn't comfortable working because of a gas smell". Mind you we've been getting our very old heater serviced so this "smell" has been there since day one. We offered to fix the issue and have him come back and he refused and also refused to issue a refund so we will see him in court. He DAMAGED many of our personal items in our home, he and his workers backed up our toilet and on top of that 9 out of 11 items on the contract are left undone. He did not HONOR our contract. Hopefully anyone reading this will be smart enough to just get another contractor. Dan is the worst , he will write a contract and then refuse to honor it. He will quote you prices and then complain as though he did you a favor. He is very condescending and smug. Dan Terrey is a thief! read more

Installed an outdoor storm door + molding. Quick and looks good! He also was friendly with our chatty kids, a plus in our house!

I highly recommend Dan. He is very professional and dependable, and his work is top quality. Over a short period of time he fixed our sink, fixed a wall, painted the front wood portions of our house, re-seated our toilet, braced our shaky deck, and sanded and stained our decks and fence. He knocked almost everything off of my list, and I plan to have him come back for a few more things! read more

Cannot say enough about how professional Dan is. He came out and priced my back wood deck steps and everything was completed within 4 days. The old steps were dry rotted and a hazzard to use. The new steps are sturdy and strong. The workmanship is top notch and Dan's work ethic is one you never see today. Pricing was upfront and the job is perfect. Trustworthy, conscientious and honest what more can you ask for. Highly recommend Dan Does That! read more

Finding a Handyman is so hard. Dan and his crew take that all away. We hired him to fix various things around our house to prepare it for listing. A loose ceiling light, replace the light ballast in the kitchen, repair broken spindles in the stairway, the list went on. And he delivered with prompt and QUALITY WORK!! The prospective buyer came in after he was done and the house was sold! His work is second to none. He is also on time, responds to emails and texts and cleans up after themselves. I like that we could send him a text of what we wanted and he came ready to work, there were no surprises with the cost and he brought all the supplies. My realtor has already taken his card and several of my friends are impressed with his work. I can not recommend anyone higher that I can Dan Does That. Thank you for your service! read more

I searched the internet for a local handyman, and Dan was the first to respond, and with a (better than) reasonable quote. Although I only needed a garbage disposal swapped out, I felt like my job was important to him. The next day, Dan was punctual, professional and ready to work. My "quick swap" became a nightmare fueled by a cast iron sink and rampant rust. Fortunately, Dan Does That. And cleaned up. And honored his initial quote. I would highly recommend Dan Does That. read more

I turned to Yelp in my search for a handyman to do some of those nuisance jobs around the home that we all would love to get done but can't find anyone with the patience, skill and reasonable price to complete them. Well I found gold! Dan, promptly responds to your calls, informs you every step of the way. This first impressed me. Secondly he came out same day, (I lucked up on that). He hung my blinds, mounted curtain tie backs, assembled a bed frame and replaced a toilet seat. I am ecstatic to have taken care of these details. He works quickly and is very versatile in his skills . Personable and easy to talk too. Reasonable price too! read more

Dan is absolutely awesome. I needed someone to install my over the counter microwave and he was able to squeeze me into his schedule on a late Tuesday night. He installed it and disposed of my old one. Super nice and very honest, I would highly recommend him. read more

I needed Dan to install a new window air conditioner. He was able to come the day I requested, showed up not just on time but a few minutes early, was competent, professional, and very friendly. He did a great job installing the air conditioner and was unfazed by problems created by the old boards that had been on the windowsill (inside and out) for the old ones; he cheerfully and skillfully removed them despite their stubbornness. I'm thrilled to have found a handyman I can count on for little jobs around the house that I can no longer do myself. Thanks, Dan! read more
