I was quoted an estimate and then met Akram and her daughter. Scheduling an appointment was not difficult. During the initial fitting she asked questions about how much I wanted taken in on the skirt. They were both very sweet and pleasant to talk too, They texted me to come for another fitting and then had the skirts done the next day!! She did such a great job with the alterations. Last month, i brought 2 of my favorite cashmere sweaters in because they had small moth holes and Mr. Choi was able to hem up the holes such that I couldn't see them any more, even when I held them up to the light. What is most concerning is how the situation was handled afterward. When I returned to show the damage and seek a resolution, the staff were dismissive, refused to take accountability, and ultimately told me to leave the store. There was no effort made to address the damage done to an expensive garment or provide any form of customer support. The tailoring itself is one issue, but the complete lack of professionalism and accountability is what made this experience especially unacceptable.

Unfortunately, I came back a couple days later to pick up my jacket and it was just as if I gave it to them. It's still dirty and I'm not even sure what they did to it, but it looks no different. I do not have a before picture but attached it the after pick. And $35 for a clean, at least have it be better than the drop off.
