Thaddeus assured me that this was covered by insurance, however, despite claims that a check was coming, after a whole month later, I still have not received this "check". I've tried calling and emailing Move Busters, unfortunately they have not responded. Tip: Make sure you check your furniture, appliances, moving items before the moving crew leaves!

They had to move those boxes that they packed plus the all the furniture in my home the Packers were younger gentleman who were very sociable, but they lack in my opinion training on how to pack a home. When they were done packing, there was tons of odds and ends laying in cabinets on the floor. There was a whole closet in my kitchen area that they did not do. Packing day they received a phone call from their boss about another job they needed to do "moving boulders" at that point they decided they were pretty much done with my house. When I sent a message saying they left things unfinished I received a message back which was snarky. Moving day was fine. However my bedroom dressers ended being extremely nicked up with a rather large gouge on one of them. Once again it was do to inexperienced movers There was absolutely no contact or follow up from the company as to see how the move went. They sent 2 guys over on 7/13/2023 to help us move to a place we're renting while our new house is being built and man has this company gone downhill!! They broke feet off 2 dressers, completely destroyed my daughter's dresser, and dented and gouged several other pieces of furniture. That's not even the worst part! The next day while my daughter and I were unloading some stuff from my car one of them showed up at our new place. Weird, right? He said that when he went to try to get paid the night before at the shop where the business is located the other 4 guys who had been at my new place unloading the truck were smoking crack cocaine. He went on to say that the guy who was with him at my house all day had smoked crack in the back of the truck with my furniture and that same guy had made comments about stealing our belongings, like, "oh, Tommy likes NASCAR, I should just take this". (Tommy is the owner of this company). This employee also said that the reason the 2 guys who showed up in the morning didn't have help until they arrived at our new place to unload the truck is because the other 3 were at the shop smoking crack and that one of the guys mentioned that he thought he left a crack pipe in my garage or basement! Are you kidding me!? (If I find it I'm calling the cops!!!) When I told the employee that I had used this company before without any issues he asked when. I told him January of 2022. He said that the company was fine then, that there were 2 other owners then, Shaw and another guy but they split when Tommy started stealing money from the business to buy drugs. What is going on at this place??? On Saturday, 7/15/2023, my husband saw an email from them asking for a review so I typed in a summary similar to this one. Several hours later I got a text from Tommy, the owner, saying, "Good evening. Ive been told you had a visit yesterday from josh. I had to let him go due to a number of different reasons please take anything he might of told you with a grain of salt , he is upset & out of control, He has been telling ppl lies and right now im trying to resolve the issue.Iv seen the review you left me it makes me furious! thats not the image I want for my company, Im willing to pay for any damages, please lmk thanks Thomas". We went back and forth regarding payment for damages because he didn't want to make an insurance claim. His offer was $250 and to move us for free next time, like I'd ever use them again, NO WAY!!! With all the damage they'd done and the insane visit from his employee in front of my daughter, my suggestion was for him to just credit us back for this move and we could part ways. After that, he quit responding. I have since contacted my attorney. Lesson: Don't use this company!!! Terrible experience and if they break your stuff they won't pay to fix/replace it because they are too worried about making an insurance claim (or maybe buying drugs‍)

We kept trying to work with them and Nothing was getting addressed so we posted a yelp complaint THEN the owner, Tom Flynn, called us in a panic saying he just got back from his winter home in Florida and a bad yelp post "will kill me". He sent his brother, Rob, who agreed that the gutters and facia were abnormally beat. His office manager. Libby, also came to see the damage and agreed it was excessive. She made a point of saying the two employees responsible for the damage have been fired. Thoroughly saying they did the damage and Action Pros will take care of me if I pull the negative Yelp post. Tom Flynn offered to replace the gutters and not the facia. We asked if he could guarantee the facia will look better than it does now. Mr. Flynn got mad and said he would no longer fix anything for us. He said we would never be happy and we were not worth the expense. Wow. This is beyond "not right". The cleaners themselves were kind and accommodating when the move had some complications (as often happens, moves are hard!), and they did a good job of cleaning the apartment. I met three cleaners who worked for ~2.5 hours while we finished our move. Later that evening I received an invoice for nearly TWICE the amount agreed upon and a judgmental email from Jessica. She stated that four cleaners had spent over 11 hours cleaning the apartment, that it was in "very bad condition," that I had misrepresented how much cleaning had to be done, and that they'd have to replace and repair equipment as a result of cleaning my apartment (later she told me that this included new rags--apparently this cleaning service expects to keep their RAGS pristine). I am not here to defend the cleanliness of my apartment upon moving out. Most people are aware that move outs mean messes. When I called Jessica, assuming that the bill must have been some kind of mistake, she became downright condescending. Jessica told me that the apartment was in horrible condition, and that the workers had taken photos of both the apartment and themselves to prove that four of them had been there, which seemed like an unusual thing to do. She said that I should have known that they would bill me by number of hours per person (thus the claim that the job took 11 hours), and that they would increase the cost based on the "condition" of the apartment--a completely subjective concept that should NOT be the basis of billing. Jessica told me that I had not been forthcoming with my initial description of the apartment, that in her "five years in the business" she has never seen any company operate differently, and went to great lengths to tell me how slovenly my living space was. I'm sure everyone enjoys being judged when paying for cleaning services. I may not be "in the business" but I have worked with other cleaners. Every other company agrees upon a rate and sticks with it. Not so with Eco Clean Madison. This is NOT normal, no matter how many times Jessica repeats that it is. When I pushed back, Jessica refused to listen, talked over me, said I was "talking in circles" and "overwhelmed" and refused to listen to my legitimate complaints. This is NOT customer service, and honestly it came off as downright sexist. Later, Jessica sent me an email with 18 photos of my apartment that the workers had taken. One wonders how much of those stated 11 hours of work involved "documentation." I am sure Jessica will respond to this review with similar condescension, but potential customers should be aware that they will be dramatically overcharged and then SHAMED by this company's employees. A cleaning service should expect to encounter dirt. Otherwise their services would not be needed. There was no initial quote for an additional oven charge, and more importantly the original quote did NOT state a number of workers on the job -- so Jessica's claim that "4 workers took over 11 hours" to clean the house and that I should be charged for that extra labor is completely bogus, and evidence that this company will do whatever it takes to swindle customers out of as much money as possible. Bottom line: **DO NOT use their move-out cleaning services.** Expect your home to be creepily documented, your quoted charge to increase by hundreds of dollars in the bill, and their manager to berate you if you dare to question any of it. This is a terrible company -- at least as represented by their front end employee. There are many other cleaning services in Madison that will do the job thoroughly, fairly, honestly, and without treating their customers like garbage.

The owner took them at their word and assumed I was lying when I tried to talk to her. Also - they seemed to be stalling for time when I finally went into the house to check on their progress - AND they were using CLOROX - the stuff you buy at any store. I do not recommend using this company. I will not.
