A couple months back I was recommended here and I had totally forgot JCPenney had a salon and let me tell you how quick they are in servicing you. I went for a trim and that's exactly was I got and loved it. The Stylist here are very helpful and friendly. I love how they listen and understand exactly what you want and ask for! The communication is there!!! So far I had Ghazal to service me and I love how she does my hair!!! I had to go back for a wash and blow out and I will still continue going!!! Love how she does my hair! Love her vibe and I'm always open on hearing her advice and tips for my hair. Amazing service. Totally recommend! read more

Love Raquel! She's super! Great personality, great with color, asks questions, listens! Listening is a skill and I don't seem to find many people in customer service that are able to do that anymore. She's honest too. If she doesn't think something will work or look good, she'll tell you why, but come up with a solution. So back story: I had a previous hair cut from a different salon. My hair is naturally wavy so I didnt think anything of it and thought the haircut was fine. I had straightened my hair and my layers were not blended... Needless to say I came to this salon was consulted by the hair stylist Angel and he fixed my hair cut blended my layers and blow dried it so I could see the final product! I was nervous at first because of what happened but he definitely made me feel comfortable and I love my hair cut! read more

I took my daughter to get purple high lights first time ever dying her hair and a cut spent over 130 for half head highlights well i was so tired after being there like 4 hours we got done i thought it looked good, next day looking at her hair it didn't look purple at all more like burgundy so i called them to fix it they couldn't work around my schedule we scheduled i time i couldn't get out of work i just said forget it and never went back, also her hair cut was very unevenly cut i have to spend another 100 probably to fix it i will not be returning!!! read more

I made an appointment for 2 boys haircuts on Sunday March 21st for Wednesday March 24th. When I arrived I was informed that my appointments were never put on the schedule. When I asked well how is this going to be corrected she aid she couldn't do anything ! They were already with clients and not able to take anymore clients as they MUST be done and closed at 7!!! I came here after another salon had jacked up my hair before I came I called and explained what happened they said come in... I did a girl with pink hair I forgot her name but she kept trying to convince me that yellowish grey was "in" no its NOT my hair was not cute at all she told me come back in a few weeks. Wait what??? I'm trying to fix my hair NOW so I left and went to simply salon 1/2 the price and omg they did it no questions asked saved my hair and made it look FABULOUS!! My opinion I would save your $$ and pass on this place she literally was like NOPE not gonna help you out today.. but another stylist did it in a heart beat also told me she was unprofessional to tell me nothing was wrong with my hair when obviously had ALOT going on. DO NOT GO HERE! Fraud, on drugs, and unprofessional (KATRINA hairdresser, ROSE manager, ANGIEfront girl) I had a horrible experience at ULTA, so I decided to go to JCP because I thought they would be professional. All I wanted was my roots colored and my layers trimmed. First the salon was empty and dull. First sign! Second, the "master designer" was Katrina, a methanphetamine stoned hairdresser. I should have ran away, but I was trying to give it a chance. Perhaps on the first greeting, she may have dranken a energy drink or lots of coffee. But as the service went on, I was thinking maybe this is just her personality. Well as she began applying the single process color, she was jabbing me with the color brush, then swinging me around in the chair like I was on a marry go round, then she wash swinging the color and cup around i thought she was going to get the color on my shoes and purse. Well as I was setting, she left to have her "carton" smoke break. and returned to wash me out. She continued to talk unprofessionally and loud about management and cocaine haridressers from the 80's, i felt like i was watching "Leaving Las Vegas" with Johnny Deep, because of her erractic movement and constant talking close to my face. I began to notice the scabs on her face where she was high and may have picked at, or picked a zit. But I work with drug addicts and I know when I see one. I should have left after the wash, but I was too stupid. During the wash I felt like she was washing a dog. She was soo rough and the water was sooo hot. And she kept turning the water down too much, then turning it too hot, there was never a medium, just extreme to extreme. When we returned to the chair, she would apply the cheapest hair products I have ever seen. OBVIOUSLY, JCP corp makes treats their hairdressers like they are in beauty school , because they cant even use salon quality products. POOR marketing and product push. Her supplies looked like they came from dollar tree, and I dont doubt it. Then to remove hair color off my face she used EYE GLASS CLEANER, or she said WINDEX works best. That crap has tons on alcohol in it,, that is why its glass clearner STUPID! I usually have peels done to my face and was greatful my sensitive skin didnt react harshly. WELL HERE IS THE WORST PART I have long thick hair, with several layers. CRACKHEAD genius decided to use a razor to cut my hair, and chopped off all the wack layers that didnt even blend into eachother. It was long on the bottom, then all of a sudden the layer begin at my head and thats it. NO BLEND, NO GRADUAL LAYERING, a freaking MULLET, with a long tail. as she was doing this to my beautiful hair i was think i can fix, maybe its not that bad. As she was drying my hair she was stabbing me with her bristle brush, pulling at my head, and then leaving in the middle to gossip to her boss, and returning to stabbing me with her brush. I jsut kept praying to get out of this hell. Finally, as she was finished I pretended it looked good, because i tought maybe it would grow on me. But I kept looking in the mirror wondering were all my volume and fullness went. She copped me a mullet, and the rest of my hair was on the floor. I was so disappointed in myself that I let her abuse my hair. The next day I went to a EAVEDA SALON, and had them look at my hair. They told me she didnt know what she was doing and did not cut my hair properly, it was chopped with no blend and no gradual layering. I will never go, or recomment anyone to go to this joke of a salon. I will only purchase my product there bc they are at a good price. PLEASE FIRE KATRINA, and ROSE wake up, she is on drugs! read more

Took my daughter in for a hair trim. The 3 stars are for the customer service, the cleanliness and the very inexpensive price for a hair trim. The 2 missing stars are not being awarded because we clearly said, "No layers--STRAIGHT ACROSS!" She mysteriously offered to braid her hair-- a first for me.. Then the next day I figured out why: Her hair was cut crooked!! Ugh! Now we are left with the dilemma, do we call and complain.? Would they do a better job of we went back to fix it? Would we even want them to try and risk making it worse? Not sure.. But I was disappointed. At least it's hair and it will grow, right.!? read more

I made an appointment a week in advance. They made my appointment for 3:30 and called me the DAY OF at 1:00 and told me I need to go in at that time or else they were gonna re-schedule her for a different day. (Which she needed her hair done that day because her graduation was 2 days later). I told them I couldn't come in early because she was at an appointment already. I asked them to keep my 3:30 appointment which they agreed to. They also told me they weren't sure if they could get the color she wanted but if they bleached it she wouldn't be ALLOWED to leave she would have to let them finish. Which is crazy because if we aren't happy with the color they want to do instead of what she wants then we're gonna leave. When I got there the front desk lady said they couldn't help me because I didn't get there early she was very rude, I've never seen someone so rude and tried to reschedule me for 4 days later which I couldn't do. I got her hair done at a different salon for $65 when they wanted to charge me $300. And her hair came out very good for $65. read more

Run if you end up here stay away if you haven't been there! I met with the stylist told her everything she needed to know about my hair. She was recommended to be great with color. It was a simple base color with a few highlights. I ended up burnt, hair fried, color orange! I was so angry I asked before she even dried it.. you didn't put toner on it did you?! She said no, left me under the dryer too long, bad cut.. lost 1/2 my hair cutting out the dead stuff. She thought because she didn't charge me it would be ok. Do NOT GO TO BETTY.
