I'm giving one star not based on how anyone in this salon does hair! But due to the unprofessional behavior of one hair dresser . So I was referred by a client to get my hair done by LIZ at this salon, I text her made the appointment and that was that. The day before I had to reschedule so I text her to let her know, her response was "ok there is a $20 rescheduling fee that must be paid before we can reschedule " which I already figured because that's how most salons work. Mind you I was working when I was texting her , it took me a while to respond.. when I finally got a break I had another message from her telling me " IF ITS TOO MUCH FOR YOU FEEL FREE NOT TO RESCHEDULE " . Not only was I insulted I was pissed off because of how she handled the situation , I had no issue paying to reschedule but her attitude made me want to look else where. I text her telling her that she had a bad attitude and no I did not wish to reschedule and she was my second choice anyways. Obviously , I hit a nerve because she posted my text on INSTAGRAM, and had all her followers talking crap about me and making it look like my text was due to the $20 fee and that I couldn't afford it. Right off the bat, everyone is really friendly when you arrive. I love the atmosphere, now for the services... A friend recommended I get my hair done by Lizeth. All I can say is, I am so glad I listened. My color and cut look fabulous. Lizeth really listens to what you want, and does exactly that. I actually got "wows" when I got home. When I first went to Kolor Bar I wasn't recommended by anyone and simply took a chance off of a random Instagram post I found. Almost three years later and I still keep going to Lizeth for all of my hair needs! She is absolutely amazing and always tries to achieve what her clients want. Yes she can be busy at times but that's expected as most good hair stylists are booked in advance anyways. She is definitely worth the wait I honestly wouldn't let anybody else touch my hair. Her work is always beautiful and I always receive tons of compliments. I would recommend her hands down to anybody! I found the kolor bar on Instagram and right away I was attracted to the results posted. So I made an appt. With Ashley. I hadn't dyed my hair in years so it was like 75% medium brown virgin hair, relatively healthy, I was wanting to go blonde but didn't expect to get there in 1 day but I imaged I'd get a little light.. well my hair looked exactly the same when I left, my appt lasted about 1 hr 15 min and before she was even done with me someone else was already waiting for her. Ok I figured maybe shes trying to keep my hair extra healthy so I'll make another appt. So I did. After this appt, that btw only lasted about 1 hr 30 min including blow dry and style, my hair was only like a shade lighter. Ok so I thought by now being as my hair was virgin hair and I've dyed my hair blonde in one sitting before with someone else, I should have been blonde or at least somewhere close, not medium brown. So then I thought I'll try out Liz this time so I made a 3rd appt with Liz and she got my hair to a light medium brown. Still no blonde but for some reason left it extremely damaged that I later had to later cut bc i couldnt even comb my hair. Months after this I went back to Ashley and finally got a bit of blonde in my hair but still NO WHERE close to what I wanted. Also I got a hair cut this time which resulted in me having to go elsewhere to get it fixed bc my hair was so uneven. So I left still dissatisfied and text her like a day later about my hair and showed her my hair goal and told her how many sessions I've already had with her and Liz which totalled at FOUR SESSIONS and how many more I'd need and never even got a reply. And on top of this throughout the 3 sessions I did specifically with Ashley over the course of a few months she never even remembered who I was. She always thought i was a new client every time. They're all very nice but I'm not sure if they just want to get the most clients possible or they just dont care. So after spending over $500 at the kolor bar that got me no where, I went to another stylist at a different salon and right away she got me blonde just like I wanted and my hair felt healthier than before. I explained to her my experience and she told me that even if I really actually did need multiple sessions it shouldn't have been that many considering my circumstances. So complete waste of my time and money. Never going there again! read more

So I got my hair done with Lizeth a little over a year ago, and she did an amazing job. I got lot of compliments; in fact, I am still getting compliments after a year without touch up. She is a very talented girl; however the reason am give a four star is because of the lack of professionalism. I get that people are busy and have a life outside of work, but i do believe that communication is key for having a successful business. Getting any sort of response from her is a bit of struggle, you end up feeling "like a annoying stalker who keeps trying to talk to someone and doesn't get the hint that their being annoying." It's take up to about two week to get a message back from her; I understand a three day delay but two weeks?! Anyways, like stated before she is very talented, she leaves your hair looking amazing....and if you don't mind becoming a stalker just to get a response fromher, I would recommend her. read more

Went in to get a color correction because I bleached my own hair and then dyed it purple which faded to a weird green it was horrible =/ Liz fixed it!! now i have this balayage going with cooler blonde tones.
