These people are just outright lazy! There is no time or effort in the words they choose. The personalities are garbage, just like their word choice. I had to call the color consultant at Minwax because the stain isn't even performing the way it was intended. The girl at the counter didn't even provide a full refund for putting up with their dumb crap. She refused to let me explain what the problem even was. Absolutely pathetic!

Sherwin-Williams paint is expensive (paint is $$$ anyway these days); I only went with it because that was what my handyman said he uses. Glad I finally got the paint, but overall this was a frustrating shopping experience.

Jesse walked me through the scope of work upfront and we moved forward. The job wasn't simple -- the wall behind the shelves had herringbone tile. Jesse opened it up, installed proper backing so the shelves could be bolted in securely, then redid the herringbone tile and matched the existing grout so well you can't tell any repair was ever done. That's exactly the outcome you hope for with tile work. While he was in there, he also fixed a leaking tub spout that required opening another section of wall for plumbing work, then patched and painted it back to seamless. Jesse's attention to detail was outstanding throughout. I'll be calling him for any future work at the house.

Deck Doc just finished power washing, sanding and staining my deck, and I am 100% satisfied with…read moretheir work. I scheduled the work around last November, as I wanted my deck to be refinished and looking good for the full 2025 season. The first days with decent weather in late April the deck was washed, and by early May the deck was finished. A crew of 2 worked a full day power washing and bleaching the deck and 2 sections of yard fencing. Every part of the deck was thoroughly cleaned, including areas not normally visible, and all areas of the deck that were surrounded by bushes. Within about a week, as soon as we had a few sunny days and warmer weather, a crew of three worked a full day sanding and staining the deck and fence. The deck floor was power sanded, and all other surfaces were hand sanded, before all sawdust was carefully blown away and stain was applied. Deck Doc did an outstanding job, and I would not hesitate to recommend them. Communications regarding scheduling were excellent, work was done competently and on the days and at the times promised. The area around the deck was left completely clean when work was completed. Thank you for making my deck look like new.

Through the years, Celeste has lent her expertise in terms of window treatments, design and especially interior paint colors to our decorating needs. With regard to window treatments, her suggestions were extremely helpful and made our choices so much easier due to her expertise. In terms of paint colors, I've never known anyone who had a better grasp on what was current, innovative and made a room "pop" like Celeste. She had such insight into what would make our rooms inviting and was extremely successful in terms of her suggestions. When I go to J.C. Licht, I skip past the samples and go directly to Celeste. Lauren understood our vision, and her attention to detail was second to none. We appreciated being able to borrow cabinet panels to take with us to pick out flooring, countertops and wall color. We now have an updated kitchen (no more soffits!) in our 1950s home, without losing it's warmth and charm.
