With the amount of home renovation going on in the Flower Mound area this store can get crowded at times but they seem to really try to help everyone as quickly as they can. I've seen some rude and "entitled" customers in the store on occasion but generally everyone seems to get fair treatment. The employees here definitely all seem to really care about your project and they give much better painting guidance than you get at the big box home improvement stores. Great store, great employees... just don't be in a hurry when you go in

We spent nearly $20,000 with this company in 2022 on window treatments for our new townhome,…read moreincluding motorized Hunter Douglas blinds. One of those blinds failed in the very first summer we owned it. Since then, the company has been out to "repair" the same blind at least ten times. At one point, they shipped it back to Hunter Douglas, leaving us without a window treatment for two of the three months we actually live in the townhome each year. Despite the repeated failures, they have refused to replace the defective blind. Instead, they continue to send technicians out for the same problem, and after year 1 they charge us a service fee every single time. We have pleaded with them to stand behind their product and provide a replacement, but they clearly care more about billing for service calls than actually solving the issue. Their service approach can only be described as "we don't care about our customers." If you are considering using this company, my advice is simple: stay away.

Installation was easy to schedule, quick and convenient. They removed the old shades and cleaned up afterwards. It's been over a year since the blinds were installed. The motor on one of the shades stopped working. I called and they were able to get a new shade ordered and installed within a few weeks. I will always recommend them and will be a customer for life!

I dropped in here for the first time for some Benjamin Moore paint for a repair project.  It's a…read morenice, clean, airy, and quaint corner storefront location with refreshing good ol' fashioned free street parking right out front on Northwest Highway.  They also have a rear parking lot.  Decent quality paint is expensive, and Bill, the friendly owner/manager was very helpful in explaining to me what I was getting for paint costs that range all the way from $33 to $77/gallon.  I don't need my own paint very often anymore but if and when I do, I won't hesitate to return here.

Every time she has come through for us with amazing color choices that really speak to us and what we are looking for. She is incredibly patient, genuinely listens to her clients, and is incredibly thorough in ways I would have never thought of. Holly is really passionate about color and loves educating her clients on it, which is super helpful to understand the color process and what to look for. On our last project Dora and Holly really went out of their way for me. I mean WAY above and beyond their job description, in the midst of me having a meltdown over our house renovation. I will never be able to thank them enough for their enormous patience in how they handled me and the situation. Between Holly's incredible talent for color and their unbelievable customer service, I am a customer for life!! If you are starting from scratch with an idea or testing your designer's color choices (I have been in both situations), Holly is the only color consultant you need to call. In regards to paint, if you are someone like me who suffers from migraines due to toxic fumes, etc., Aura is an amazing paint product. Yes, it is $89 a gallon, but you can sleep in the room your painting, with no fumes and no migraines. The paint itself is a dream to work with, even for paint dummies like my husband and I. If your budget will allow the cost, to me it's worth every penny!

Returned all books promptly. Within days. Told that someone from the wallpaper dept had to be there to handle the refund, which my husband was assured would happen. Then forgot all about the bathroom/wallpaper project as anyone would with surgery, etc. Contacted JC L recently only to be told that my cash was theirs/gone. This is the only business unwilling to make any concession given these circumstances. As longtime (we're talking 3 generations!) Geneva residents, who choose to shop our local businesses vs. Amazon, etc., this is so very disappointing!

The staff is far more knowledgeable and patient than the folks at the big-box stores. They are super friendly, and they really take the time to help you. They have high quality products at competitive prices. I love the fact that they carry zero-VOC paint. The big-box stores claim to have this, but if you read the labels, you'll find that it is really low-VOC paint. Not the same thing....still contains carcinogens. Another thing I like about Lloyd's is the fact that they keep a record of the paints you purchased and what room you were painting at the time. So when your kid draws on the walls or you accidentally ding the wall while moving furniture, you can just go back to Lloyd's, and they'll mix up a bucket of the same color. Three cheers for Lloyd's! My family has been visiting them my whole life, and we're never disappointed.

Well, I should say I wasn't really eager to travel to a brick-and-mortar store since online shopping for home is more convenient, and often times, cheaper without having to leave the comfort of my own residence. The first impression I had was how similar it was to "HomeGoods," except it was a larger space. There were Christmas trees and decorations near the entrance, three (3) aisles of chairs I saw next, and planters, gardening essentials, poufs and ottomans against the walls. I then spotted some sofas, loveseats, and outdoor furniture toward the back of venue. I then walked through the rug and carpet department. It was quite disorganized. Items were picked over and placed on the floor instead of getting put back on the shelves. Well, this phenomenon was often seen in many retail stores post-holidays or on the weekends. I wasn't shocked, but I knew perhaps the associates and managers there could do a better job on maintaining the best visual. In addition, I noticed some items were damaged or having minor defects. Hubby and I were looking for a planning board with the days of week that we could write on daily activities or meal-prep-related messages. The one we originally wanted to purchase had a broken hook. Fortunately, we spotted another style on the other side. With that being said, conduct detailed quality check before you commit on buying anything at the store. Many tables already had scratches, dents, or uneven legs. I guess we would meet these damaged goods pretty soon at Marshall's, TJ Maxx, or HomeGoods with deeper discounts? No se, pero "we shall see!" The trip to "At Home" wasn't exactly a waste, even though I did have to admit the prices weren't exactly the lowest one could find. This is the year of 2018. E-commerce is now the sh*t. Therefore, I would certainly encourage you all to do more web browsing before cruising on the road.
