Babes N Brushes did a fantastic job from start to finish painting my living room, breakfast nook,…read moreand kitchen. I'd moved into my house 3 years ago and I never liked the sage green that was on the walls but - well you know - some things keep getting pushed back and this was one project I let fall by the wayside. I finally said I wanted it done this year so I reached out to Babes N Brushes through Yelp and they got me a quote and were super friendly and responsive. I'm also super happy to give my business to a woman-owned small biz. Megan was our painter. She was courteous and did a fantastic job. I plan to hire them again in the spring when I want our basement re-painted. If you are looking for someone to hire, I would suggest Babes N Brushes all the way.

Went here because I needed to match a colour in the Pittsburgh Paint line. And Pittsburgh Paints…read moretells me on their website that Ambassador carries it. I walk in and initially wonder if this is a paint store or a storage unit. Not a lot of order, not a cleanliness, not a lot of...well anything that looks like a retail space, except for items haphazardly placed on shelves. Most of the merchandise is on the floor. I walk around but don't see anything that might be an indication of where this paint might be. There is a man behind the counter, but he has been talking to another man, whom I took to be a customer, the whole time. He looks over to me, stops, and gives me that look like he is greatly irritated he has to pause his conversation. I am asked if I need help. I ask where the Pittsburgh Paints are. He sort of waves his hand and says no, all the paint lines he has are located in the far corner. I start to mention the website and ask if he knows where in the area I can go. I am interrupted, in a highly dismissive way, to "Google it". OK, well I did. And I got what I needed with no sass from Menards. Ugh, this is why I stick with Thybony. Seriously.

When Dennis came to our house to assess what needed to be done, we knew we had the right company. He was extremely knowledgeable and informative. He knew so much more than any painter we've ever hired. His pricing was more than fair, and with the glowing referrals from other happy homeowners, this was our company Dennis and crew did an outstanding job and greatly exceeded our expectations. They were responsible, reliable, and very neat. The whole crew was friendly, polite, and professional. We loved how Dennis answered texts promptly, and juggling weather conditions, he was still able to give us a pretty accurate window of start and end times. Going forward, he will always be our go-to for our painting needs.

Aug 2021: Gerardo and his crew were professional, on-time and delivered what was contracted…read more Geraldo came out for the original estimate and came back to review the job scope prior to signing the contract. I originally received 5 bids from Yelp painting contractors to paint the exterior of my 43-year-old, 3,100 sq. ft cedar siding home. Gerardo's bid was the 2nd. lowest, only slightly higher than the lowest bid. However, his bid included everything in the price that I needed (no extra add-on price options). He did start one day later than expected, due to another job running longer, but called me in advance to let me know. He was flexible to allow me to buy my own materials, so I just contracted for the labor. I was able to get his painters' discount at the paint store by showing my contract (Nice!). His crew did a good job with prep (power washing, scraping, and caulking). When I called out a few sites I wanted more attention paid to, his crew responded to my request. He was very conscious about not getting overspray on cars in the driveway, plant pots, etc. He did a great job keeping the job site clean. Overall I would strongly recommend Gerardo and would not hesitate to use him again.

We were overall disappointed with our experience. After shopping around for an affordable and…read moreavailable painter, we chose Larry. He seemed personable and provided a quote based on pictures, which was helpful, since we were still closing on our new home. Prices were exactly in our range. We were also very clear about the time frame for painting. He planned to start working a week and a half before we planned to move in. He and his assistant painted REALLY fast, finishing each floor in our house in a day. At first, I was impressed, but once we looked closer/moved in, we were disappointed to see missed corners and spots where we could see the old colors around appliances, trims, etc. We had to ask him twice to return to clean up those areas. The first time, he blamed the mistakes on his assistant. The second, he apologized, but blamed our timeline. We never needed him to finish that fast and as a manager, he should have reviewed his assistant's work. There are still issues, but we have not asked him to return because he spilled paint on our countertops, trim, and ceiling and its not worth the effort to clean after him. In the end, you get what you pay for *shrug.* The experience was disappointing because he bragged about working in Naperville and offering the same quality to everyone. Given our bad experience, I can only hope that is not true.
