Since this was our first home remodel, we leaned on his advice often--and many of his suggestions ended up shaping our home in the best way. Throughout the entire process, they went above and beyond. Anytime we had a vision, we could call Norman and the team, and they would find a way to bring it to life. Norman would come out, take measurements, and make it happen. When I wanted a custom bookcase, they absolutely delivered. That level of dedication and follow-through is rare. Wen also played a huge role throughout our remodel. We have been putting off writing a review because we wanted to share pictures after completing our backsplash. Neither of us write reviews very often, but this job was such a huge success so we needed to give them props. We are just going to list off what we liked... 1. Our kitchen is larger than a standard kitchen where all the other shops quoted needing 2 slabs to get the job done. Budget was the only shop that recommended using a Jumbo slab for our kitchen which saved us $$. 2. All we had to do is text Ian a picture of our kitchen layout to get a quote. We had a quote that same day. 3. Phone conversations were great! We had some questions about the edges and the free kitchen sink size (30" vs 32") they were including and they were responsive. 4. Easy process to get the ball rolling. All we had to do to get job going was put down 50% of the cost to have measurements done the following week, then they were out installing the countertops 2 weeks after that. 5. They showed up to install when they said they would. We were told installers would show up between 8-9am and they arrived at 8:15am and were done with our install about 4 hours later. 6. Cleanliness was exceptional - they even put cloth down to protect our flooring. 7. Our experience was so great and have been telling our friends about them if they ever need new countertops. 8. We are going to copy and paste this review into Google as well to get the word out. Once they put it in, it looked great but there were a few small, weird marks from when they installed it, and I had to do the sink, gas and faucet hookup myself - which I knew in advance. I did need to ask them to redo the caulking since it was yellow/almond and the countertops and backsplash were white. The sub who came was actively uncool but the folks at the office were perfectly fine to deal with. Overall I'd rate their service 7/10, their quality 8/10, and their value 8/10. Unlike most of them, Natalie was so chill and no-pressure as I browsed. I really appreciated that. Because of that, I trusted her with my business and went with her installers as well. Now her installers.. I was so nervous because I just put my faith in them to make 2 slabs work somehow on this large project with a fairly complex sink and faucet set up. They crushed it. What they did is literally a WORK OF ART. The symmetry, the precision. This is the centerpiece of my house now, where everyone likes to gather round. RCG was a sub-contractor for the contractor I hired. The work on my home started several weeks late due to RCG failing to communicate with my contractor, took weeks longer than their original estimate, and several months after the work has been completed, I am still playing email tag because they have been unable to keep me informed about a backordered floor repair kit. The laborers that performed the work did a great job overall, however there are some gaps in the flooring where they cut to fit corners and edges. The cabinets have some holes where they missed studs and had to relocate the screw and there are holes where they mounted the door on the wrong side of a cabinet and didn't patch the holes.

They handled it with absolute precision, almost invisible seams and they ensured the seam placement was discreet and away from high visibility areas. The project involved using my existing cherry cabinets, adding a white subway tile backsplash and the Quartzite countertop, a new sink and faucet. I was impressed with the scheduling of the different trades that kept the project running smoothly and on time. They took great care to protect my floor and cabinets. The entire crew worked well together and all were polite, quality people that made me so happy that I chose this company. And a huge bonus that they are a family owned small business! She helped me understand the different countertop materials and guided me through all the decisions that come with a project like this -- edge profiles, fabrication details, and what to expect during demo and installation.
