One of her coworkers was outside and saw our car move and noticed they hit the car. Of course the normal "I didn't do it" conversation ensued. Called insurance... claim started for first hit. An hour later, I get a second call "the car was just hit!" I said "I know, you told me" But this was the SECOND time!!! Difference with this one? Hit & Run! Another coworker was outside and got I pictures... 2nd claim filed. SOLUTION: After all the rigamaro... we went with Caliber Collision for repairs. They've done one of our other vehicles, so back we went and THEY DID NOT DISAPPOINT! The communications were frequent and clear. They never hid anything. They made sure to verify before starting, and just kept us in the loop, sometimes better than my insurance carrier. Text messages to inform what step they were in during the process. DONE: The quality was as if it came straight off the assembly line. No imperfections, no two tone colors (matched perfectly). No wavy panels. What I'm saying is it's BETTER than superior quality work! From the office staff to the shop, nothing but professional conduct. the pricing was super close to the estimated. Nothing inflated. It looked like the titanic and I thought it could never be repaired to look factory. But 2G assured me they would have it back looking brand new. They jumped on the paperwork right away and by the time I was off the phone with AAA they were ready to go. I didn't have to deal with my insurance at all after dropping it off (which is a godsend in itself) and it was ready in just a couple weeks. The results were incredible! Not a single shortcut was taken - if any part wasn't perfect, they authorized replacement. The welds and paint match perfectly with the opposite side of the truck. I recently had some unexpected damage to my bumper--possibly a hit-and-run in a parking lot--and…read moreneeded it replaced and repainted. I went through my insurance's preferred shop, Caliber Collision, and from start to finish, their customer service was outstanding. From the moment I walked in, Emmanuel, the service advisor, was kind, attentive, and informative. He clearly communicated the timeline and process, which made me feel at ease. When it came time to pick up my car, however, the paint on the new bumper was noticeably off--it was a completely different shade of white and didn't match the rest of the car at all. To their credit, Emmanuel and the general manager, David, immediately acknowledged the issue. They explained the mismatch likely happened because my vehicle had been previously repainted, which made color matching more complex. Despite my insurance declining to cover the repaint, Caliber stepped up and told me they would make it right--at no additional cost to me. Emmanuel kept me informed the entire time, and we scheduled a time to bring the vehicle back in. They took special care with the new paint, using a blend technique to get the best match possible given the different tones on the car. The work took about three days, exactly as promised. When I picked up the vehicle, I was honestly blown away--the paint job looked fantastic. The match was pretty perfect, and it's clear that their painter, Freddie, is truly talented. Huge thanks also to David for his professionalism and commitment to quality, and to Emmanuel for keeping me in the loop and advocating for the best outcome. It's rare these days to see a business take responsibility and go the extra mile to ensure the customer is satisfied, especially when insurance won't cover something. Caliber Collision did just that. I'm very pleased with the results, and I would 100% recommend them to anyone who needs quality auto body repair with excellent customer service.
