I don't know how I missed writing a review for this place, I could have sworn to the Great Mother I…read moredid.
Anyway, when I used to live in the Deep South, The REAL "Land of the Brave and the Free", this was the mechanic shop I turned to. The mechanics I like, like Le's, will install the parts that I bring them, and are also honest, which is something very hard to find.
I noticed more often than other, mechanics who refuse to install your parts most likely operate a sketchy business.
For whatever reason my Vietnamese relatives in Gwinnett county do not listen to me. I'm not sure if it's because they are Liberal douches from California who went to DePaul university, which causes them not respect my conservative views of things, or if it's because I believe in the "Good Book" and they follow the Buddha.
Either way, one of them texted me today asking how much it is to do a front break job. I asked her why and she told me the "Dealer" is quoting her $300 to do a front break job, including break pad replacement and resurfacing of the rotors.
I know when I lived for a short time in metro Atlanta, a place you couldn't pay me to return to, I told them to go to Le's, and I know when they have texted me before with similar questions, and I forwarded them to Le's.
I told her like I know I have told her before, the dealer is full of Binturi's. It doesn't matter which dealer you go to in regards to the type of car you own, they're always going to at the very least charge you 200- 300% more than what a regular mechanic will charge you. I have personally seen labor charges hit 900% in comparison to a regular mechanic.
These Binturis at this Nissan Dealer in Florida wanted to charge me $900 in labor charges to replace my A/C Blower, I ended up paying $90 for labor at an auto A/C specialty shop.
There is only two, and I mean two reasons why you should go to the auto dealer for mechanic work.
#1 Your car is under warranty.
#2 Your last name is Garçon, don't ask me why, it's a long story.
Not only that, but trust me the dealer is not going to resurface your rotors, they're going to talk to you in a manner that is threatening or emergency-like to coerce you to buy new rotors for a ridiculous price, and they might not even replace them, they might just resurface the ones you have while charging your for replacement.
You cannot see what the dealer does because they whisk your car away from eyesight.
So I called Le's and asked how much to replace the break pads he told me $145/ for front or rear, and $290 to do both front and rear including rotor resurfacing.
My relative has been to Le's before, but I think she likes the Dealers waiting lounge and/or loaner cars. What she doesn't understand is all of that comes at the incredulous price of being ripped off.
My friends, we are in perilous times, technically America is "still great" and in the deep south they're trying to "keep it great".
I'm saying this because this is an Asian owned business, and right now Asians are under the radar of those who want to keep America Great. So let's support our Asian businesses and friends in these times to show them the majority of people in America are sane and do not want it to become "Great again".
