I called to ask how much an alignment and oil change would be. The lady on the phone got my year, make, and model of the car and looked it up and told me an alignment with an oil change would be $170. I will leave paying over $300 because they said the lady quoted me wrong. Also they tried to get me to change my battery and quoted me $70 for service when I am looking at a sign that says free battery installation. If you are a female alone they try to upsell you. I had cancelled my appointment with a good reliable company that gave me a $290 quote because these people told me $170 but now I ended up spending more. I will not be coming back. I brought my wife's car to get a service work up ww bought from a private seller. The new manager Drew is as unprofessional as they come. He had no idea what work was done before calling me to say it Ready for pickup?.! They did work without authorization first and foremost. Secondly when he finally understood why I picked up my car which was supposed to have 2 TPMS replaced in less than 4 miles one of the tired goes Flat! After changing my tire and paying more than $500 for services supposedly rendered they replaced the faulty valve stem and of course the manager yet again disappoints by offering no Apology as he stayed on a personal call while customers waited for service. I had an unfortunate and disappointing situation with Mr Tire on Holcomb Bridge in Peachtree Corners/Norcross. I went in for a routine oil change. The technician left the oil cap off. Long story short, this is a very bad situation for your engine. After consulting with several mechanics, professional race car drivers, and automobile engineers, I returned to Mr Tire and asked them to drain the oil and replace with new oil. Everyone told me that this was going to get worse because once this happens, it leaves dirt and deposit in your engine and if black smoke is coming out, the boiling oil is destroying engine parts. The next day my car overheated after 10 minutes of driving. I called Mr Tire and told them I would be back. The manager, Jeremy was very uncooperative, started being a hit head, left the desk, walked into the bays and started screaming snd yelling. I stepped into his office and got a phone number for Monroe Inc Corporate owner of Mr Tire and spoke to a Sean Wilson who is the District manager. Jeremy checked my car and the fan broke from trying to keep up with cooling the engine and radiator. He quoted me twice the price to fix my fan. I know this because I took my car to another shop the next morning where they fixed my car for half the price. I called Sean Wilson twice and he has ghosted me. I guess they don't want to take responsibility for their error. A terrible experience. I don't recommend Mr Tire. read more

European Cars Owners Beware, especially for VW Passat I went to Mr. Tire on the morning of September 18, 2019 for 4 wheel alignments. At first, I was told that the gentleman specialized in alignment was not there yet, which I said that's alright, I can wait. Anyhow, the alignment mechanic arrived shortly and took the car in. Shortly after, I was approached and informed that they do not have the special tools needed to do the full alignment, because VW uses special tools. However, the problem/my initial complaint was uneven tire wear, which they can get done without any problems. And for the numbers that were out of limit from the computer indicators they can correct them all with the tools that they have, they just want to make me aware of the situation and see if I still like to get them done. I asked and was confirmed by the gentleman that they can still do the 4 wheel alignments and correct all of the numbers that are out of limits. He explained that you have to correct the alignments on the rear wheel before you can proceed to the front wheel, that's how it works. So, I told him to go ahead if he can get it done as he promised. However, when I was told the car was ready, I asked the print outs for the before and after alignment reading. Then I notice, there were still numbers that were out of the limit, especially the rear wheels. When I paid closer attention, not only were they out of limit, they did not adjust the rear wheels at all, according to the numbers. When I asked, he told me that I have a fixed axel, which is not adjustable. On top of it, not only did he tell me those numbers are miniscule, but I will reach the tire mileage warranties before I will notice the wear. He also told me, for future reference, all I need is the 2 front wheel alignment, no need for 4. I was puzzled but left the shop, regardless. I noticed the car was pulling to the left as soon as I left the Mr. Tires Parking lot, which was not a problem before. I called the shop later and was told to bring the car back in the morning. For some reason, the next morning I decided to get another expert opinion first. The first shop was laughing and told me they didn't do it right and they lied to you after they saw the car and the printouts. So I thought, let me be safe and get a 2nd opinion, which was same as the 1st. Then, just to be sure, I went to the VW dealer and gave them my VIN number and asked them what kind of rear suspensions I have in my Passat. They told me independent rear suspension, not fixed axel. Then when I got back to Mr. Tires, I told them, I went for other opinions and they all told me they can do the all 4 wheel alignments and asked for a refund. The same gentleman I dealt with told me, you were supposed to come back here first thing in the morning. I just told him, I thought should get other experts' opinions as well. So, he told the store manager that I would like to have a refund because they were not able to get the alignments done for me. But for some reason, they were not able to issue me the refund without going through the corporate office. They told me they will call the corporate later when they open and I wrote down my email address for them to send me the confirmation. The next day I called because I never received the refund confirmation and I was told they still working on it. I then returned to Mr. Tires on Friday, September 27th, because I never heard or getting anything from them. As soon as I asked the store manager, "remember me?" he told me they still working on it. After a lengthy conversation, he asked me if the car is here. He then proceed to go to the car and got on the ground and looked at the rear suspensions then came back to me and apologized and told me his people messed up. He offered me a free oil change first, however I told him that I basically do not trust you guys any more and just want my money back. He told me that the gentleman that dealt with me initially is not here yet. When he comes in, he will tell him to take care of my refund immediately and call me within 1-2 hours. I did receive the call and was provided with a corporate number along with extension in case I did not get my refund in a week. I finally got my refund after 2 weeks. So I thought I would just share my terrible, horrible experiences from this shop with you customers out there. read more

This place is beyond horrible. They've been working on vehicle for 3/4 months now, and every time they work on it the problem reoccurs. I've given them over $4,000 and my car comes back with issues I didn't drop it off with. I wouldn't even recommend this place to my worst enemy. Went in to the Peachtree Corners, Ga location for a schedule appointment to replace brakes and rotors. After the service was completed I drove home, half a mile and all seemed fine. Next day I drove it a mile down the road and when I applied the brakes my entire truck shook, rattled and jerked as if the brakes were slipping. Scared myself and my 2 girls. I quickly pulled into a parking lot, called and had it towed to Mr. Tire so they would have there first thing Monday as they were closed. (First inconvenience) Come to find out the bolts on the brakes were not appropriately tightened. (See picture) I called them Monday and was told they would look at it, yet I explained already the issue. When I picked it up after work luckily getting to borrow a friends car so I could go to work without calling an Uber (2nd inconvenience) they stated it it wasn't tightened properly and glad I had it towed. Now I'm not one to ask for compensation but an apology for the inconvenience would have been nice. No "we apologize" no "we are so sorry this happens to you" nothing!! Even after mentioning what I had to go through the most I got was we are glad you had it towed. Ridiculous coming from an establishment who came highly recommended. Will not go back. read more

Multiple things went wrong during my unfortunate visit to Mr. Tire. The first, and least significant, is that they lied about the time it would take to do my oil change (I was told 30 min, it took about an hour and 30 minutes), but I wasn't too concerned about that. It's a mechanic place, you're busy. I get it. But that waiting area was a mess, so definitely drop your car off if you can. Next, also not as significant, I had a coupon through an app for a free oil change from Mr. Tire; had their logo -same logo that's on the shirt, door and sign you see when you drive down the street. They couldn't honor the coupon. The coupon was the only reason I came in the first place, otherwise I would've taken my Honda Civic to Honda. He told me that's not their coupon, though their name and logo was all on it. So I just said fine, it's an oil change. $30 won't kill me. Here's the problem. After my oil change was done, I was told my oil cap drain (I don't remember the exact terminology) was on too tight/it was too small which would explain any slow oil leaks I might've saw. I informed the mechanic and the manager standing there that I never had any type of leak in my car. They told me okay, but they put a bigger one on anyway & to bring the car back to them so they can monitor it. NOPE. Fast forward a few days, I think I see a leak but I run my air conditioner everyday because it's so hot here, that I just thought it was runoff water from that. Nope. Fast forward a few more days (10 days since the oil change to be exact) and I'm walking towards my car and I see a drip and a nice puddle of liquid coming from it. I touched it with my finger and it's oil. So now I have an oil leak. After I didn't have one and Mr. Tire allegedly took preventative measures to keep me from having one. Right. They said to bring the car back so they can "monitor" it, but in reality, it sounds like they broke my oil gasket pan on purpose so I can come back and keep putting money in their pockets. I will definitely NOT be bringing my car back, EVER again. I'm currently scheduling an appointment with Honda for them to properly take care of my car. Thanks for nothing, Mr. Tire. read more

If I could give zero stars I would! Similar to others stories, I go in for something as simple as an oil change and leave with having major issues. My visit began with me advising them that my wife scheduled an appointment for an $15 oil change and that's all that I was there for. Greg(front desk personnel) then decides to ignore that and tell me an oil change would be $37 dollars! :0 . How when I just advised I needed to know about the $15 one. After ignoring this and still trying to upsell me on other services and me saying "no, just an oil change that's it!" He looks up and says "you've said that a million times, I got you!" Well why in the hell do you keep asking and the tries to turn it into a joke. Now I'm a little thrown off by the service. Well a gentleman comes from the office and tells me "oh yea it's $15 with a phone coupon " so rather than us doing this tango and you tell me about this Greg you continue to upsell. They tell me 30-45 mins(in which I had an appointment which I was early for so why that long) but I said fine. I want no more drama. Well about an hour and 5 mins in I ask myself "why so long?" And I get up to go look in the service bay and all the mechanics but 1 are standing around talking and then when noticed I'm watching go around to a blind spot to continue their conversation. An older lady was waiting twice as long for them to come out almost 2 hrs later to tell her they couldn't start on her car until she clears out the trash. What?!? You made this woman wait almost 2 hrs to tell her this. Then when the lady expresses her concern for me and her they laughed in her face and seemed completely confused on why she felt this way. Then while taking 15 mins to tender me out they weren't closing out a ticket, they were talking trash about me and the woman. No less than 24 hours after leaving this horrendous establishment, my wife's car is leaking antifreeze!!!!! 71,000 miles and her car is leaking coolant out of a car that just received a diagnostic no more than a week before and absolutely nothing was wrong with the car. When I called to speak with the manager David, I told him the car could not drive and could they tow it being that these issues did not occur until I left their location he laughs, yells, and becomes rude and nasty when advising him of a possible mistake on their end. He tells me "oil changes has nothing to do with antifreeze." Well duh but when you are coming off as if you just want money and not caring about ones safety you'll do anything. Like knock a hose loose. He yells at me and when my wife gets on the phone he hangs up in her face. Now if I was the only one with this story, then fine! But Mr.Tire corporation, look at how similar these reviews are and you don't think it's time to get a new team or close this place down?!? I am now stuck in Florida because no one in this location has integrity as a person or compassion for another human being. I need my car fixed and I will show the BBB all these reviews, I will post this on all platforms including ripoff.com until I get this issue rectified! What has happened to honest, dignified people and caring upper management. I'm not asking for a handout! Just fix the issue you caused because it is evident you caused the problem. If I could have no stars I would. All I can say is "RUN". We liked this place when it was Wood and Fullerton but not now. We had a truck that was having an oil leak, after spending several hundred $$, they finally fixed it thanks to Mack at an expensive cost of $1800. A few days after we got it back, it was making a strange noise, we took it in there a few times, they were always to busy bla bla bring it back. Finally it got really loud, we took it to the store in Johns Creek because that is where they moved Mack. He sent it over to this location because that is where the work was originally done. That is where the problem began, everyday was another story and another lie. The manager was forgetting what he said to both my husband and myself. After the car was there for 5 days, I called and David was so rude and nasty. I got a hold of the district manager, he was really no better David told him a complete different story than us (I have our conversation recorded) today my husband got a call, that they are going to get to the bottom of the problems, it would take about 7 to 9 hours to do all they had to. My husband said "They do not want to be responsible for fixing the car that they broke and I bet they come back to say they can't fix it. Sure enough 4 hours after the call, sorry we can't do anything you can come and get your truck. We have spent thousands of dollars in this location over the past 7 years with several cars. Never again. When David would not talk to me and told me I have to go, I have customers, what did he think we were. We had been loyal customer of this location, they did not want to eat and use the man power to fix our car, that they clearly messed up. 7 days it sat there for them to tell me "sorry can't fix it" 7 days we rented a car at the tune of $400. Reminder, you might want to get the lies straight before you talk to people, you talked in circles and lied to both of us about this situation. read more

I came in for an oil change and decided to wait in the lobby. Shortly after I sat down and as immerged in the TV another customer came in and was discussing the trouble with his car. Mack informed him that there MAY be a small chance that he can't fix it and IF that was to happen there'd be a small charge for the time, because it takes 30-45mins, he just needed him to sign saying he understood the policy. The customer was NOT happy! He was not loud or belligerent, but he was insisting that Mack perform the task without him signing. He mistook Macks deep booming voice for Mack yelling at him, some people have loud voices. Mack seemed a little ruffled but he continued to try to help. All and all the customer left and Mack apologized to me for the uncomfortable situation. I was amazed that Mack didn't let the situation ruin his day with other customers, he was polite to everyone like nothing happened. Great customer service and car service! read more

Be careful with this one. I took my Jeep Grand Cherokee in, in December 2015, because the heat stopped working and sometime prior to that the AC had also stopped working. After diagnosing the problem they told me the blend doors were bad and needed to be replaced. This requires ripping out the entire dashboard and is quite expensive due to the labor intensive nature of the work. It was $1500.00 to be exact. I told them to check the AC too because it had stopped working prior to the heat. When the manager called me and told me the vehicle was ready I asked him if they checked the AC and he said that they did and as far as they could tell everything was good. I didn't try to use the AC immediately because it was still winter but as soon as we had a warm day I turned it on and it was blowing warm air as it had been prior to this work being done. I immediately called Mr. Tire and told them what was going on and explained to him that their people told me that everything was good, when it was obvious that they had not looked at it at all. His words "it was too cold out to check it" but we will be glad to check it for you at no cost. From this point I realized I was dealing with incompetence so I decided to take it to a competing Mr. Tire. The result: AC system has a bad evaporator coil and requires ripping out the entire dashboard to replace. I had to pay twice to have the dashboard removed because these people didn't do their job.
