Short version: Deceptive Internet pricing Staff unwilling to compromise on price Rude/condescending staff (after they realized we wouldn't be buying a car) Long version: Stopped by JBA to check out the Outlanders. At first we were treated well and taken care of. That lasted until the subject of price came up... On their website it says 26,000 (MSRP) - 6300 (Savings) - 2000 (factory rebate)= 17500. You'd think the total price would be 17500 + dealer fees, freight, taxes, and tags right? Wrong! Savings doesn't actually means savings. What sense would that make? It actually means savings if you meet certain criteria, like military or currently own/lease a Mitsubishi. This is extremely deceptive. So our price quickly shot up by about 2 to 3k instantly. When this put it out of our price range we informed our salesman. He seemed unfazed by the news and tried to resolve this by extending our payments. That doesn't resolve the issue of a high total price, it just makes it seem more manageable given a longer period of time. We were willing to work out a way to make the total more agreeable to our bottom line, but the salesman clearly wasn't interested in helping AT ALL... Before we left he said "let me go tell the sales manager where we are" and walked away. When he came back, he had a sheet of paper in hand and said "this is the best I can do." Looking at the numbers I asked, "does this reduce the total amount any?" He seemed rather surprised by the question and said no. He kept reiterating that it was the best price we would find and that we would be making a big mistake leaving without completing the purchase. I purchased a used Cruze from them in April 2018. With it being used I of course purchased an extended warranty from the them. I took my car to a different Chevy dealership because it was over heating and they don't except the company on the third party. Come to find out Amerigard is a third party company, which I was not informed of. If I would have know I would have never purchased it from them and would have purchased my own. Basically I can only go to their dealership to get my vehicle fixed. Now I am stuck with a $500 dollar bill because the warranty doesn't even cover the radiator and I purchased the deluxe package. They are swindlers and are only out for the money. At least be honest about what you are selling so people can make an informed consent. I am spreading the word to al my military people not to shop her or at JBA Chevy because they are under the same umbrella. read more

they do not lower prices or cut deals... stay away from their msp prices... their are dealers out here that will work with you and care! they only offer you rebates that the manufacturer gives.and then try to say it's money off the price. making it seem like they are working with you... when they haven't even moved or discounted the price! they have room to move and negotiate and then give you the rebates and discounts. don't be fooled on top of the fact that the sales managers act like they dont's care about you and treat you like your an inconvience. they have completely forgot what hospitality and customer service is! they assume you would be eligible for every discount and then keep adding back on.... the numbers never match and the sales managers try to over talk you to spin it . buyer beware!!!! read more

I buy a new car at least once a year. I have dealt with pretty much every car dealer around the Glen Burnie area and many more. I can honestly say that jba is the best I've ever dealt with. They are honest and have the absolute best customer service around. I bought a new Chevy from jba in 2007 and had a great experience so when I was looking for another car and saw what I liked at jba Mitsubishi/jba used cars I figured I'd give it a shot. I went in and spoke with Art who was my sales person and he gave me a great deal on a 2016 dodge. He was a nice sales guy and was straight to the point with no games which I really liked. While I was buying my new dodge Jason had appraised my trade in and I spoke with him. He was a very nice guy and gave me a fair price for my trades. After I had my car for a while I had some questions and called and spoke with Jason again and he answered all my questions and even did some extra research on his own and called me back which I greatly appreciated. Now it is 3 months later and I have decided to get something else again so I went up and talked with Jason and he got me taken care of. This dealership is not like others. They are super nice, straight to the point and honest. They pay more on trades then CarMax and if they say they will do something they actually do it. I recommend jba to anyone looking for a car. I was fortunate to have Tony Hamel as my salesman, he found me the perfect car I was looking for in excellent shape and extremely low mileage. Now having the car for a little while I'm glad to say Tony has continued to help me with any questions I have. I attempted to purchase my wife a new vehicle from jba. And for the second time I am extremely displeased with there professionalism. The first time we were thrown a ludicrous deal and expected to sign on even tho it was $170 more then our limit. They managed to get it down after about a week and we purchased the vehicle from them. This time we come in and they offer us a decent amount of money for our trade, the sales person was extremely pushy, even tho I told him 4 times I was still shopping around, which was the first strike. Secondly there was absolutely ZERO communication between the sales people and myself after I Signed the credit form. I actually called and spoke to the sales manager, who was extremely rude and still after a week hasn't gotten back to me. I will NEVER go to jba again. I have since gone to jerrys, which is a little out of the way but they have gone to leaps and bounds to make me happy. Stay far far away from jba. read more

Go see Andy H!!! I was sort-of in the market for a new car. My car was fine, but I was looking for something with just a little more juice in the engine. I hemmed and hawed and went to a number of dealerships looking at all sorts of makes/models. Then I went to JBA and met Andy H. After weeks of "dealing" with sales people and managers (I feel there is no need to explain the pain), I was happily relieved to be "working" with this guy. Honestly, the Mitsu I bought was not the top car on my list. I love the heck out of it now, but it was Andy who elevated it to the top of the pile. He was genuine, very pleasant, and (my impression) open and honest. He just moved from selling tools to selling cars and was as interested that I get a car that would "do the job" for me as if he was helping me pick out the right tool to build a table. I didn't get the car the first trip out to JBA, even after taking a test drive. When I left without making a deal, he smiled as big as if I had, shook my hand, and hoped I had a good weekend. When does THAT happen??! Not at any of the other dealerships I've ever been to. The next 2 dealerships I visited got judged against The Andy H Bar and they failed miserably. Almost 3 weeks later, I went back to JBA. Andy didn't say a word about my leaving last time - he simply welcomed me back and asked if he could answer any questions I might have. Again - what sales guy doesn't give you ___ or put up that ice-cold front? Andy. That's who. That night, we traded in my old car for a new Mitsu and I couldn't be happier that Andy is the guy who got the commission and accolades. He got me a perfectly fair deal that I am to this day happy to have taken. Sadly, cars aren't something I purchase on a highly regular basis.
