Not only are they full of warm, friendly, and down to earth people, but they also provided the best fitness experience in terms of coaching, professionalism, and overall excellence. Not naming names, but other gyms I tried just pointed to the board to indicate the warmup and the coach spent the whole class rolling out vs actually coaching. From the coaching to the programming, from the facility (the gym is ALWAYS clean which is no small feat) to community engagement, and class experience, Mitch, the owner of The Loop, makes it clear that he is committed to constantly improving for the sake of his clients and community. Every time I walk in the door I'm greeted with genuine smiles, happy to welcome me back (from both the staff and the members) My favorite thing about the Loop is the excellent coaching and explanation before a workout begins. They breakdown the moves we'll be doing so even a beginner can grasp the concept and not feel overwhelmed or discouraged because they don't fluently speak CrossFit. The workouts are designed to leave you feeling challenged and accomplished with both strength and cardio elements built in. I leave feeling strong and energized. If you're on the fence about visiting, don't be. Take the plunge, you won't regret it and you're guaranteed to leave better than you arrived.

The sheer variety of isolation exercises possible here should excite any intermediate/advanced lifter! * incredible, well designed space surrounding the machines for free-weight activities, bars for deadlifts and old fashioned bench presses, enough high quality ROGUE benches to go around. * an upstairs area which provides additional machines, as well as empty space for stretching, personal stretching, etc. * limited selection of cardio machines that face outside This gym is very clearly targeted to serious fitness enthusiasts and is probably not a great place for the cardio-only half-asses lifting crowd. The price tag does help weed out the unserious, and I appreciate it! Thank you Kim and Jordan for creating such an amazing space, with fantastic energy and amazing equipment. The problem: we're amazing at talking ourselves out of going to the gym. We were VERY out of shape, and that first free training session with Cat was all it took to show us how much in-home personal training could benefit us. Strength training is always part of my injury recovery process, but I've done a bad job of incorporating it to my workouts. Either I don't lift weights, or I do too much too soon and I'm sore in a way that impacts my running. I've been a member for about a month, and I am really enjoying my workouts at Progressive Performance. Signing up for this gym keeps me accountable to strength training and I'm able to keep running in addition to building strength. More than that, I really appreciate how the trainers took the time to know me, my goals, where I've struggled in the past and are there to guide my workouts. I need help with accountability for myself and so I have leaned on the trainers to help me get moving after going stagnant for a year. I had to switch trainers recently due to my last one leaving :-( which was a bit of a bummer HOWEVER I have been working with Conner for a few weeks now, but I'm already seeing progress, and I couldn't be happier with my experience. One thing that really sets him apart is how he approaches injuries. I have tendonitis, and instead of just skipping exercises that bother me and moving on, he gives me stretches, mobility work, and "homework" to strengthen the area so I can eventually perform the movements correctly and get stronger. It's refreshing to have a trainer who focuses on long-term progress instead of temporary workarounds. He also keeps me accountable outside of our sessions by checking in on my workouts and nutrition. Having a clear plan with specific goals has made it much easier to stay consistent and motivated to come in, and I really appreciate the encouragement along the way. He genuinely listens to my concerns, answers my questions, and takes the time to explain the "why" behind everything we're doing, which has helped me feel much more confident in the process. Our sessions are primarily strength training, but I also love how he finishes each workout with high-intensity supersets that end things with a bang before sending me off for 20 minutes of cardio. Every workout feels challenging, purposeful, and rewarding. I joined this gym (April 2025) because I was interested in taking several of their dance/zumba type…read moreclasses. I was willing to spend the extra money (their rates are higher than other gyms in my area) because there were 2-3 classes every week that appealed to me. I showed up for the first class, and became aware that the posted classes are not consistent, if available at all. No problem, right? I was still excited to utilize their body scanner, sauna, massage bed, and of course their outdated gym equipment. However, during my second month scan (May 2025) the trainer who assisted me and analyzed my scan was super condescending and unprofessional. Her comments were unnecessary and made me feel very awkward, so I didn't go back for months. With the fee so high I decided to slip in and use their sauna when that staff member wasn't there, but in the end not worth the hassle.
