We are fish taco aficionados. Jazzy's by far has the best fish tacos on Maui! The fish is freshly cooked and has a crispy texture. The slaw is delicious along with the sauce. All enclosed in a warmed flour tortilla there is not better taco on the planet. Oh yeah and the rest of the menu is just as good. They can have a lineup for lunch so we recommend calling ahead and placing your order. That way your wait time is greatly reduced. However it it with the wait!! read more

Good Mexican on Maui! Easy stop by the side of the road on your way to or from the beach. The salsas were spicy! We thought the burritos were a satisfying size for a hearty lunch. read more

This is the best food on Maui. Come to Hawaii for Mexican food. It's amazing. The fish and shrimp tacos are made with love. The textures and flavors are all SO good. Don't forget the salsa sitting on the counter! The guys working the truck have their grill fired up pretty early ~10am it seemed like we were the first people there. But don't count on it always being there, so if you see it STOP and eat! Pro Tip: Ask for a steak and shrimp burrito (not on the menu) read more

We saw this food truck in the way to Makena Landing for snorkeling. There were two trucks advertising the best fish tacos. However, once we parked and looked at both menus, Jazz's was more authentic. My wife and I both ordered the fish and chorizo tacos. The layer of flavor for both was so delicious! I high recommend this spot! read more

We are vegetarian. They have good options. We had the veggie torta and burritos. The torta had a good flavor. The burrito could have had more. The beans and rice are vegetarian - no lard or chicken stock. They do not fry the chips with other meat products if that matters to some. We were happy with the choices. read more

Had to go back for seconds. Just so good! Fish tacos hit the spot. Chicken and beef and nachos were round two for the family. Fast service, and much faster than the truck next door for a similar menu! read more

We live in Southern California with some of the best Mexican food, but this food truck on the way to Big Beach in Makena was incredible We were so surprised by the delicious fish, al pastor and chicken tacos! The ingredients are so fresh, and the prices are perfect for a quick bite with lots of flavor. The owners (see photo) are wonderful, too! We had to take a quick pic. Thank you Jazzy's for a tasty surprise and new Hawaii discovery! We will definitely be back and recommend your truck to everyone we know read more

GROSS FISH TACOS... It didn't even taste like fish and it felt like it was just fat. The person in the truck was rude and didn't want to listen to us when we told him that the fish tacos were horrible. The crane asada tacos were very good and had lots of flavor. read more

We ate at this truck based on the excellent reviews and were not at all disappointed. Relatively quick service for such a large crowd.

Terrific tacos! We loved the fish, shrimp and chorizo, but suspect all are great. (This is a good truck, so nowhere to sit...just order and take away, or eat in your car.) Great stopover on way to or from Big Beach. Shaved ices looked good too. read more

Yum! So good fish tacos with the mango salsa and cream sauce- Best in Maui a must try!

This place has amazing tacos! We tried the fish and shrimp tacos. We will definitely be back!

Absolutely love this place. Great food and friendly staff. Yet, almost every single time I want to go here, the food truck is nonexistent. Their hours online are completely false and it seems like they just work when they feel like it. At least update your online presence to reflect your physical presence. I am tired of driving down to Makena for lunch just for them to be nowhere to be found. Once again, love their food and staff but 0 management skills are in place. read more

Best tacos I seriously have ever had in my life. Do not pass up the fish tacos. Right off the side of the road and worth the wait if there's a line. If you think you'll only get 2 two, don't, get 3 because you'll want to keep eating more.Fish Tacos read more

Amazing Tacos. This place actually can lay claim to the best fish taco on Maui. Amazing salsa, perfect sauce, and delicious and flavorful fish. The shrimp tacos were fantastic as well. Go here instead of coconut fish cafe for all your taco needs. Super quick service, and really nice staff at the truck. Highly recommend! read more

Fish tacos were awesome, great mango sauce. Fish Nachos, large portion, fish was tender and well seasoned. Nice little stop on the way back to Lahaina! read more

Best fish tacos on Maui. I've tried few other places, some that claim to have the best but trust me Jazzy's is the best. Fish is so tender and juicy and the mango salsa is amazing. BEST fish taco read more

Soooo good! The shave ice, fish tacos and the quesadilla were great! Steak taco was really dry but everything else was so good and reasonably priced. read more

Still one of my favorite food trucks or maybe even eating establishments in Kihei. All their food taste fresh and good flavor. Location is ideal when your at the beach all day and need some food. Way better then the other food trucks in the same area. I always like to take a peak in the food trucks and to my surprise!! No Microwave!! That gets major points in my book! Very nice people running it! read more

The Mahi Fish Tacos were amazing and shockingly cheap for Hawaii. This place was a serious home run and I highly recommend stopping by.

Because we eat halal, when we visit the Hawaiian islands, it's all about fish for us. And finding the best fish tacos is harder than you would think. First off, they're being offered EVERYWHERE. And second, everyone's got a variation on the theme going on. We've been to some highly rated ones and were severely disappointed by what we were served. BUT Jazzy's Kitchen... OMG. I don't like to be hyperbolic when it comes to reviewing food but yes, these were THE BEST. And here's why. It comes down to how the fish is cooked. Dry crumbly bits of fish meat are not what I want in a fish taco. I also don't want a heavily battered lump of fish meat. Jazzy, gives you tender chunks. I am not kidding, they are like melt in your mouth tender, soft and juicy. The same goes for shrimp. Most places gave us hard, rubbery shrimp. Not Jazzy. They were cooked TO PERFECTION. Plump, tender and juicy. We got the shrimp for our kids and I was sneaking in bites because they were that good. The only sadness I experienced was knowing that my first visit was going to be my last because we had Jazzy at the end of our trip. Until next time!! read more

We came 4 years ago and loved it. But this time it was even better!!! We had fish, shrimp and steak tacos and they were all amazing!! It's a great place to go from Big Beach. read more

This is the only Mexican place worth going to on the whole island. Seriously. It's amazing. Most flavorful carne asada burritos, possibly the best tacos al pastor we've ever had, and top three carne asada nachos ever (and that includes everywhere we've been in Southern California). This is legit Mexican food. Update- everything here is amazing! The fish tacos are not only the best on the island but the best we've ever had. The food somehow gets better each time we go! read more

See all

we got the fish, and shrimp tacos. Amazing flavors and very freshly grilled. Will definitely be returning.

Run don't walk to the best tasting affordable Mexican I have had in a few months. The prices are excellent and the portions are generous as well. If you don't mind taking it home or eating in your car this is a must stop for Mexican. We tried the Chicken Quesadilla, Steak nachos, Fish tacos and Ceviche and 2 cokes. Our bill was around $40. Just remember to keep your eyes open and it is a good truck and you might miss it if your not looking. read more

Finally an amazing taco spot in Maui. I'd give 10 stars if I could. I travel a lot, but this food truck - hands down - gave me THE BEST quesadilla I have ever had! I've ordered their chicken and their shrimp, both came with lots of cheese, and lots of meat. The tortilla was crispy, and even though they were super busy I got my food within 10 minutes. Their shrimp tacos are also amazing. Highly recommend if you're in Maui. read more

So good! I dream of their fish tacos. Can't wait to come back for more. Wish it was closer to where we're staying.

These were the best Fish Tacos and ceviche we had, so on our last day in Maui we went back to have more of the delicious food.

Delicious fish tacos! Generous portion for the price. Will definitely come back again!

I've reviewed Jazzy's before but it has to be said, these are the BEST tacos on Maui. The guys are from Mexico and their culture shows in their fantastic food. Hubbs n I stopped by yet again while we were hiking in the area for a Jazzy's fix. I'm an addict...lol! This time I decided to branch out and try a shrimp quesadilla for $12 instead of my usual fish taco fix. Yum! Oozing with cheese and nicely stuffed with good sized shrimp they were unctious and satisfying and packed with flavor. Hubbs ate an al Pastor quesadilla and it disappeared fast and furiously, in fact almost inhaled, with a smug look of satisfaction afterwards. Like a cat that got the cream. The Jazzy guys talked to us while they prepared our food and they are hilariously friendly and great to have a yarn with. The cook told us Saturday is "beer day" so they are closed, but open every other day. Fair enough. We tend to go to this end of the island midweek to avoid the weekend crowds so that suits us just fine. If the cook needs a beer day he deserves it for his gobsmackingly good tacos. To quote Arnie "I'll be back" ;) read more

Incredible. Everything we tried was delicious, even more amazing than most restaurants. We had the shrimp tacos, fish tacos, Al pastor and ceviche tostada. Everything is worth trying. We complimented the cook and found out the cook was actually a chef at a restaurant before opening up his truck. We wish we had this truck closer to home but we will just have to come back to Maui soon to have some more! read more

My wife and I were snorkeling at The Dumps (just a bit before La Perouse) with a few friends and decided to have lunch here. It was amazing. The five of us are from California and have had Mexican food made from Mexico to Miami and this was among the best. My wife and I ordered street style carne asada and chicken tacos while our friends got the al pastor. I had just crushed a couple steak and chicken tacos and I tried my buddies pastor...I went back and ordered two more lol Great place, friendly, perfect fuel after snorkeling all morning. They have raspado which is a super tasty shaved ice snack that's great in the Maui heat. They take credit card and cash which was convenient. read more

AH-MAZING!!! If you drive past it, TURN AROUND! Best fish taco of my life, not just the island. Tried the Al Pastor taco and cheese nachos too. Both excellent. So much meat/toppings, very generous. Owners are SO sweet. We ate it in our car (couldn't wait), but would be great on the beach too with a can of beer. Don't forget the fork and hot sauces! read more

Good flavours and great size of burritos! Smoothies were delicious and very fruity as well.

Wow, skip the other trucks that hang out by Makena Beach and just go to this one for your taco needs. This one was so awesome we went TWICE. First round, we had fish tacos. The fish was impossibly fresh, somehow perfectly cooked despite being in small pieces, and had a nice sear. How does that happen? The mango papaya salsa was the perfect accompaniment. Add those salsas they have, and you're good to go. You'll find bursts of fresh fish, sweet, and spicy flavors all wrapped in tortillas. The second go around, I tried the shrimp ceviche tostada. Again, bomb-diggity. Really zingy and fresh, and just the meal you want to have after being out in the Hawaiian sun for a few hours. read more

We were driving around and saw this on the side of the road. It is a must stope ll, it was so good we went back the next day. My husband ordered the veggie burrito both days and said it was really good. I had the Fish Taco and Shrimp Ceviche Tostada. The fish was so moist and grilled to perfection the mango salsa on top was sweet and tasty. The Shrimp Ceviche Tostada was really good as well. The next day I got the Fish Tacos again and a Shrimp Taco it was good as well. read more
