This is the first of a few locations opening in the area and is run by the ladies who owned Raw 45 Bootcamp in Wheaton. Among all of the gyms I have been a member of, these ladies are at the top of their game, they're top notch professional...and both great trainers as well as business managers/owners. I have found both qualities to be rare in the fitness industry... it's usually one or the other. Elise & Amy are both. If you browse my page and my yelp list of gyms, I've been to MANY. So for starters, you will NOT get bored at a place like this! There are a number of different circuits (the website indicates 27) and forever changing exercises within each circuit so no workout will ever be the same. The concept is outstanding and no other place is like it. All workouts are 45 minutes so you're in & out of there in no time and you get a hell of a workout in during those 45 minutes. Time goes by very quickly! The Hollywood workout I participated in for my first class on Saturday was an hour with a live DJ providing the music keeping us going the entire time. There are classes in the morning & at night and classes 7 days a week. Try this place out!!! It's for all levels and the trainers are there to not only motivate you, but to also make sure your form is correct and can assist in modifying anything necessary. Move over Orange Theory Fitness....F45 is where it's at!!!!

Due to aging, muscle stiffness and joint pains come as often as my hunger pangs. All day long! I have noticed so much less flexibility and it's affecting my golf game. I also couldn't touch my toes anymore because of my back pain and stiffness. I've been coming here for a month and by the third week, I was able to reach my underachiever goal to touch my toes. It's a proud moment, I know . I love this more than massages because the immediate response from my body thanking me every time I go is so rewarding! Plus, I noticed that I'm running faster and my golf swing is also improving. Why not 5 stars??? Because of my irregular schedule, I've had to book anyone available instead of booking my fave flexologist (Kara). Not every flexologist will have the same technique. And when you find one that knows your body, stick to them. Even if their only availability is 9am! . Also, there isn't a location nearby my house. I have to go all the way to this location which is still 20 mins away from work. So I can't and don't go on the day/time that's most convenient for me. Lastly, it's pretty pricey. But, I think in the end, it's so good for my body that I've justified paying. There's also a 3 month commitment. But, careful, once you try this once, you'll get hooked! So set your goal and try it at least once. Your body will thank you in so many ways in return to what our bodies do for us! Flex it and thank it! Enjoy!

Think of a cross fit gym set up without all the scary cross fit people intimidating you. He's really good at what he does, will call you out when needed -- ie. you ate like crap, you cancelled so you could watch the Bachelor, etc etc. He really knows nutrition and he changes up the workouts every time. He doesn't just willy nilly push you, he has you wear a heart monitor so he knows how far to push you and to make sure what he's doing is effective. I really have no complaints and working with Joe has been wonderful. I have gotten so much stronger in just a couple months. The education about nutrition has been key in helping me work towards my weight loss goals --- if only he could transfer self discipline to me too! If you're trying to decide whether to get a gym membership or try a personal training session with Joe, just do the personal training with Joe. You won't regret it and you won't get your a$$ to the McGym anyhow and you know it. That's why you're researching personal trainers. Buy his Groupon. Get hooked. Get fit. Just do it.

I feel very strongly about this place, and I'm tired of seeing the negative griping reviews about dumb stuff, so now I'll leave an opinion. First of all, yeah, it IS expensive. However, I don't understand why people who are actual members of the club would complain about this. It's not like they tranquilize you, haul you in the door, and then get you to sign a contract that you've never seen the price on. No one makes you hand over the credit card. The price isn't a surprise. There are gyms for everyone, in all price ranges. So here's the deal, if you think it's too expensive, then DON'T PAY FOR IT. Don't complain about it. Just go somewhere else. You can do bare bones ten bucks a month at some local chain gyms. However, I'm pretty sure the people who are complaining about how expensive HT is, would go to one of those and complain about how dirty it is or the lack of amenities or something. Secondly, yeah, there are a lot of kids. Kids are people. They are small people, but they're people nonetheless. We pay dues for our children, just like we pay dues for ourselves, so they have every right to be there. Some of us pay the expensive price BECAUSE of our kids. The child care is stellar. I actually found HT by typing "gyms with child care that doesn't suck" into Google. True story. If you're all good with a teenager in a back room watching your kids, or you don't have kids to watch, then maybe you should go to aforementioned chain gym for ten bucks a month. I digress... The staff genuinely care about the children. They get books and crafts and outdoor play time. Is it really that big of a deal that you can hear happy children playing while you're upstairs? I find the dude trying to lift 50 pounds more than he really can, grunting, yelling, and dropping shit to be far more annoying. BUT! Be glad, for there is a solution. Put in a pair of earbuds and listen to some music. Voila, problem solved. You're welcome. I also find it astonishing that people are complaining because people are *gasp* USING the track. It really sucks that they're in your way. But people are at all levels of fit, and not everyone has your running prowess. Some people walk. Some people jog. Some people run damned fast. Some people walk in pairs. Like everywhere else, if you are coming around a corner, and someone is in your lane, you simply need to call out, "On your left", and people will move over. I know it's hard to accept that you aren't the only person in the world, but well...you're not. And as for the people complaining about the large amounts of fat people and old people, well shame on you. You should be jumping up and down for joy. People are getting fit. Losing weight. Taking care of themselves well into old age. Much less of your precious tax dollars you'll have to spend later on taking care of "sick fat old people". Just sayin'. Clearly, I love this place. The child care staff is great. I can take my toddlers into the pool. I can relax in the hot tub post personal training session. I love that the staff is so hugely diverse - so many different ethnicities, both genders, all sizes, a wide range of ages. The staff is friendly, professional, and fun. The personal trainers are a.m.a.z.i.n.g.!! They'll help you and answer questions, even if you aren't in one of their classes or paying them for private sessions. And when you do sign on, they tailor activities just for you and your skill set, and then they push you hard, past what you could do and into what you are capable of doing. Signing up for personal training sessions was one of the best things I've ever done. There's a salon (Billie gives a mean haircut!) and spa. Hot tubs, two pools, sauna, steam room. There is shampoo, soap, and conditioner in the showers. Towels are provided. There's a pro shop and cafe/juice bar. There are SO MANY classes to choose from. There are, blow dryers, q-tips, deodorant, and combs provided in the locker room. There are several curtained off, private dressing stations in the locker room, as well, for the more modest among us. It's always clean. It's nicely decorated. I really don't understand people who continue to pay and still complain. It's not like getting a shitty meal at a restaurant. You complain. You make your unhappiness known. Then you DON'T GO BACK. Why keep paying the high dues, keep showing up to someplace you obviously think has so many flaws, and keep complaining about it. Of course, you're allowed to not like the place. You're allowed to think they do everything wrong. But if that's the case, then WHY do you go back? Yup. Don't get it. Wow this is long. TL;DR: It's a great place. The dues are high, but as the saying goes, you do get what you pay for. All the people complaining about trivial and petty things are entitled whiny wankers.

To that, I would like to say for over two years, the large whirl pool area and hot sauna have always been able to be accessed. This new rule started in 2025 and it was disappointing to so many when it was merely update on the rules, and staff sent people back to the locker rooms, no access was now permitted. *While chat or other ai apps are useful, it was clear all the wording and lack of any understanding was not present. Plus the facts were incorrect. It's been a policy change ..... I still have not been contacted. The whirl pool had to be repaired in late january. I reviewed the email notices, the person who sends this out to members was not completely updating the members. Yes, it's up again, however when it went down after scheduled down time, we went to use it and it remained down, or went down. This needs to be an automatic note to us. It matters and while there are things out of the control of the new owners, there are many things that are within their control.
