Have you ever tried to change a headlight in a Jeep? You would think you just have to unplug the old headlight and plug in the new one. But you have to do actual electrical work in a Jeep to change a headlight. That's a little bit outside of our comfort zone, but these guys did a great job. Would definitely recommend. read more

I have just had one of the absolute best customer service experiences ever! Anyone who knows me knows I work crazy hours & I have been trying to get here for months. I needed a remote starter especially now that it's getting cold. So last week I call to get an appointment but they were booked up & I asked if I could do a Sunday. Mike said to call back on Friday to confirm. I called back & we confirmed for Noon. Super friendly, great conversation & he knew exactly what had to get done. I show up, and I kid you not. They put a remote starter in my push button start Toyota in 15 mins! Out the dayum door in 15 minutes!!! Absolutely freakin amazing! Great prices and they of course do other stuff. Absolutely not, order from Crutchfield and do it yourself. If you don't have the tools, BUY THEM. If you don't know how to do it they'll walk you through it on the phone. I'm usually not one to complain online but my car is the other half of my life pretty much and when people fuck it up it pisses me off.. I was already planning on bringing it back because the module rattled like crazy every time I play music I had a factory autostart installed and while I was driving I hit a bump and my passenger side plastic trim pieces fell off where they hid the module for the autostart. It was late at night so I just fixed it myself and had to zip tie all the wiring for the module in place to stop it from rattling around when I played music. After being taken to the cleaners by Sound Trax, on a stereo and front speakers, I really appreciated the great experience that I had at Jazz Audio! Robbie and Gene were friendly, knowledgeable, and gave me an incredible deal on rear speakers and a subwoofer for my VW Beetle! What made the experience even more pleasurable, is the fact that Sound Trax had me come, the previous day, to do the same job for way more money, but then gave me some story about how much time it would take to access the rear speakers! Gene and Robbie did the same exact job in record time, in less than three hours, they pulled out the rear seat, installed kicker speakers, a Mephis Subwoofer, with onboard amplifier, for hundreds of dollars less than Sound Trax quoted! Never again, will I waste my hard earned money at Sound Trax, when Jazz Audio is just blocks away from it... They truly know how to treat their customers at Jazz Audio! ! Jazz Audio is one of the worst businesses I've dealt with. The owner did not teach me how to use the remote start correctly so my car stopped in the middle of CR83 going 65 MPH. Then the remote start locked me out of my running car for 4 hours. We had them remove the remote start and when trying to get a full refund the owner told me "go f**k yourself, do whatever the f**k you want" and hung up the phone. Completely disrespectful and doesn't know how to communicate with customers. read more

I have been going here for about 2 years and spent well over $10,000 on a sound system for both of my cars. I have dealt with Mike, the owner Gene and a few of his technicians. The place has constant change of technicians because no one wants to work under this tyrant. He is aggressive, rude, off putting, and lacks good management skills. Mike on the other hand is a great, genuine guy, with a sales person vibe but definitely a good guy. Gene is stand offish, a his way or no way type of guy. I have never went to Jazz audio and been completely satisfied with the work that was done to my car BESIDES the tints that were put on by a third party. When Gene doesn't get his way he acts like a baby and cusses out long time customers and says things like "i will beat the sh*t out of you". Every bit of work done to my 2010 Dodge Charger is awful, wires are showing, brackets are broken. And the sound stuff they give there is terrible. They do not uphold to their 1 year warranty, AND the stuff busts in 6-8 months. I definitely recommended Sound Trax down the road or Avenue Sound. To put yourself in the situation to deal with Gene and his poor quality workmanship is like buy a house with no walls. Its just going to be stressful, time consuming and a money pit. Just had a new sound system put in my truck a G wagon. Looked around and checked reviews of different establishments. Checked a few and pricing and had a budget in mind. I've used Jazz Audio before but I said I will check them last and make a decision. Well I know there work but was skeptical of them doing work on the G. The installer Jordan did a hands down great job, NEAT no exposed wires everything looks nice. I showed Jordan the items I wanted installed in my truck. Radio w/ navigation, DVR, TV monitors and backup camera. I showed it to Jordan he looked and said ok confident in his knowledge of doing this work. I had a question about 1 piece of equipment I wanted installed he said no problem and I knew I was in good hands. Thanks to Mike also for your help. Will definitely patronize again. read more

Did my headlights a year or so back. And wanted leds cause halogen in my car keep breaking. So went to jazz audio and they got me a set. Went back 3 separate times because I couldn't see out of them and they're so dim. Finally went to another place and the guy tells me I got regular leds for my car that has a projector housing. Didn't write this review before cause I wasn't sure if it was something wrong with my car. So through the year I went through everything I can think of to get it done. Cleaning headlights, changing battery, cleaning the grounding and nothing just to find out I got the wrong damn leds. Dude was a sleezy scumbag. DO NOT USE THIS GUY!! Went to sound effects got the parts ordered. Will leave a great review if I can drive at night now. read more

The work done was good, the price was right. Can't complain about those 2 major points. However..... 1) If you call to make an appointment you need to leave a message and wait for a call back. For someone busy and not attached to their phone, such as myself, it turned into phone tag for days. 2) I am all for promoting a business who has a good product and provides good service.. but it is EXTREMELY distasteful/tacky for a business to plaster their name on your vehicle for a service you pay in full for without your permission. Upon pick up of our vehicle we noticed a license plate frame advertising this business had been attached to our car WITHOUT OUR PERMISSION. Not even a mention at the time of pick up. No, I did not just pay you and on top of that will give you free advertising. If you want me to advertise for you, there is a cost to you. Plain and simple. We were charged twice (over $1000) for leather seat installment and were told that we could expect a refund in a few days. That was back in May. It is now mid-July and still no refund. I haven't had any stereo or remote car starter installation work from Jazz, so this review is strictly for window tinting and general service. I brought my car here 2 or 3 years ago to get my windows tinted. They did such a fantastic job and I have not had any peeling or bubbling whatsoever. My BF brought his car to Jazz this weekend to get tints. It was a rainy and humid day, which caused a water bubble in the back window. They said to wait for it to dry and then smooth it out with a credit card and it worked. It took under 3 hours. They did another great job and the car looks awesome. They will work with you with the payment. The people at the shop are really nice... a little pushy with trying to sell a remote car starter, but they truly are professional and do a great job. There is also a lifetime warranty as long as you save the receipt. read more

After having Jazz Audio do a number of jobs on our vehicle, which we happily paid for and even called on several occasions to say how happy we were with the work, we had trouble with our remote start. It was a gift for Christmas of 2020, so less than one year old. AND IT HAD STOPPED WORKING MONTHS prior to today, but we had not had a chance come in until today, well within the one year warranty. We were told it would take 10 minutes and would cost us $45 to re-program. Why should this warranted product go bad and then, if within the warranty period, should we have to pay anything for a re-programming. When we tried to discuss this with the owner, he was incredibly nasty, claiming I had yelled at him, which I had not. He thereupon told us to leave his store and never come back. Although I had recommended him to many friends and were planning on other work for him to do, we certainly will never darken that doorway again. A classic case of showing true colors! I decided to put a state of the art stereo in my 1992 Corvette. It is my toy and I enjoy it but it had the original am/fm cassette radio. I have had Mike from Jazz put in several remote starters in my cars before. Never a problem. This was a little more involved. He recommended a beautiful Pioneer full screen bluetooth stereo with Navigation and all the trimmings. Love it. He had Scott, his chief installer, put it in and called me when it was done. The backup camera was not working at first. Scott told me it was a switch on my transmission that was keeping the reverse lights from working and that commonly blows so I should have it replaced. No problem. My mechanic tells me it is not the switch but a power problem possibly caused by the install. So now here I am a layman, someone who knows a little about cars but not enough to figure out who is correct. I had no choice but to go back to Mike and Scott. They were very professional and accommodating. They basically had to go back over the entire install and recheck everything. They did it without complaining (to me ). They called and told me that it WAS still the switch in their opinion. I decided it was time to bring the Corvette expert into the picture so I brought it to my Corvette shop to get to the bottom of it as I KNOW he is familiar with all things Corvette. And the winner is... (Drum roll please) Mike and Scott! The idiot in the situation (that I will not name but he knows who he is) was my FORMER mechanic. Trust is something that is earned. I am naturally skeptical of everyone when a problem arises. Mike and Scott at JAZZ Audio have earned my trust and loyalty and I would recommend them to anyone. went in to get New radio there was no one up front I was waiting for 20 minutes went to the back no one was there. after about 20 minutes I finally got some help for so I thought until I went inside to talk to the guy, he started helping someone else. and by the time I went back up to the front three workers came out like where were these people when I needed the help I heard the guy watching TikTok when I was waiting upfront for help that I wasn't receiving and this guy was acting like a complete moron asking me questions and not even listening to my answer don't come here they're children. read more

Save yourself a headache and avoid this place. I was given a price of $200 for a Viper remote start. I droped the car off and was told it would take a hour. Two and a half hours later when I went back to check on my car, I was told it would be ready shortly. Then they tried to charge me $250, saying they weren't aware of the model of my car. (Not true! I was asked by two different people The make and model of my car.) The remote start turned out to be a different brand and I refused to pay The additional $50. When I got home, I noticed they changed the rear license plate frame on my car without asking me. I refused to give them free advertising. I also noticed there were two minor scratches on my one week old car on the rear bumper near the rear plate. These scratches weren't there when I droped off the car and I believe they were caused by their employee when he changed the rear plate frame. This place is horrible. read more

2nd time visiting the store. First time we brought a brand new vehicle with 7 miles on it for a remote start. When we picked it up there was a long scratch by the license plate. They put one of their own frames on it and it looks like the screw driver or drill slipped. The manager said we couldn't have done that-let me check the cameras. He came back a minute later and said "nope-wasn't us!" The dealer took care of it because they recommended jazz to us. 2nd time was about 3 weeks ago. Also for a remote start. By the time we got it back it was dark and late. We went out the next day and when I looked on the floor mat I was like WTF is that. Apparently the guy must have eaten his dinner in our vehicle. There was lettuce and tomato scraps! There was also shoe prints on the door panel. They obviously have no respect for people's belongings. I went back a few days later because the remote start was having issues. Some grungy looking guy came out from the back to talk to me with a lip full of chewing tabbacco and the nasty juice running down his lip. He told me "that's the way it works" and he looked pretty annoyed I was even there asking. That's my stories. Good luck. I wish I did the right thing and look at others in the area first! I have been in here before and always received great service. Today was no exception. Better off getting your stereo installed at PC Richard. Had a great sound system in my last car for 5 years with no issue that PC Richard installed for me. Anyway I brought my car here to get new speakers and get some subwoofers installed. A week or so later the subs just stop working. Thinking a fuse blew on the amp I bring it back and ask for a new amp (the amp I was using was an older amp I had from a previous car so I figured maybe it was my fault for not buying a new one right away). They take it in the back and come out to tell me both the brand new subs and my amp were broken. Said he would send the subs to the manufacturer for a new set and in the meantime said he'd put a single subwoofer in there for an extra hundred bucks for now so I didn't have nothing while I waited. So I figured why not, they seem nice enough. Well today the one sub they had put in there literally 3 days ago just stopped working. The replacement they sold me stopped working 3 days after it was installed. Only couple of weeks after the other new equipment stopped working. Needless to say I have very little faith in getting a refund and I don't want them touching my car ever again. On top of it now I have to bring my car somewhere else to get it done the right way. All together I gave these guys $1,100.00 and my sound system is not working at all and now I have to try and get my money back. Like I said do it the safe way and go to a big shop like PC Richard. There's actually some overhead and standards at places like that. Unlike this place were you will get scammed by a friendly face and some slick wording and your brand new equipment (that you got overcharged for anyway) won't work at all. read more

I bought a remote starter/alarm in November of last year. 5 Months ago. In that time I have been back to Jazz Audio 3 times with the same complaint. The remote wouldn't start the car, alarm or disarm the car, even when I was standing right next to the car. I would have to press the button many, MANY times to get the desired result.. Every time I went there they took my car in the back and "fixed it". But the problem actually seemed to get worse. I finally had enough and bought another remote starter/alarm from another store and had them install it. They weren't surprised at all when I told them where I was before. Said that they get a lot of business fixing Jazz Audio's mistakes. They asked me if I had brought my own unit or bought one from them. Apparently the unit that Jazz installed was old too. Like almost 2 years old. They showed me what the new model looks like, and what they sold me. Not really a big deal, but it just adds to the question what the hell is going on? Why would I get a 2 year old unit? I probably should have gone with my gut feeling about them. When i was there getting the unit installed a woman came in and she was having problems with her remote starter. The guy working at the register asked for her receipt. She didn't have it but asked if they could look up her receipt on the computer. After all they did have her phone number. The cashier told her that that was not possible and that they needed a receipt. That seemed really weird to me, especially since they took my phone number too, and I saw him use it to look up my work order when I arrived earlier that day. read more
