Backstory: had brakes previously replaced at Euro Car Masters (AVOID THEM) only to have my brakes squeaking again. After waiting all day for an oil change, was told the rotors were scored and the pads were wrong and my brake fluid was shot. They replaced the brakes unDer warranty and I paid for the brake fluid replacement. Another entire day lost. A week later, my manual clutch feels spongy. Maybe its just me I thought...until tonight (saturday), and my 2020 124 spider wont go into gear. Ai told me there was likely an air bubble in the brake/clutch fluid. Ofc the shop isnt open until monday. Frantically i called mobile mechanics to bleed my slave cylinder. Jeremy texted me back immediately after missing my call to confirm he could do it. An hour or so later, he bled the system but only half the gears worked. He then suspected a linkage misalignment, and broke down the console to realign it manually. Half hour later, all gears worked. 2 for 2 in less time than my oil change took at the other hellhole. Jeremy saved me thousands because another shop would have replaced my clutch, then the entire transmission, and potentially STILL miss the bleed and linkage. Bright side: I found a killer new MOBILE mechanic that is available weekends. What a gift. Jeremy, youre my hero. ‍

I went to the QZ Towing business to get things out of the car after a crash on the 91 freeway the…read morenight before. The crash was terrible and the car was totaled. Very sad to see the car at QZ, but the owner - Moe - helped me and was very kind. The tow truck driver - Carlos - happened to come by while I was getting my stuff - he was also very kind. The night before he quickly got my car towed, and took me to a safe place to get an uber home. The crash was horrible, but QZ really helped me when I needed help.
