I write this review to let people know of my experience how things went doing business with Jay. So I got recommended to this place by some really close friends. I called Jay to get a quote and date set up to replace a rear main seal on my 91 mustang (mustang is modded and has a LS swap motor on it). While we set things up he said it can be done and took him about a week to do the job which he did great the first time. Paid him the amount owed and even tipped him for a job well done. Verbally he stated that the parts and labor had 1yr warranty and it also states it on the paperwork. Well the rear main seal failed and started leaking again. So I called Jay to warranty the part and we set up a date to take my car in. He did notify me that it could take some time because he had other projects and was also going on vacation. I told him "please let's just do what's in warranty". So 1 month passes by and he doesn't even give me updates on what's going on. I would text him like 3-4 times to get 1 reply back (very unprofessional). He replies saying that it's going to be a little longer, he replaced it once and it leaked again so it was going to be the 3rd time now. That's ok I'm fine with that. So then he calls me after another month goes by that the car is finished. I'm excited and anxious to get my car back. But he says "oh by the way I couldn't warranty this job it's not covered" and I'm sure as anyone would, I got upset and was just confused and surprised. I told him "how is that so when I have the receipt that says otherwise and you stated it verbally that it was warrantied the first time if it failed". He apologized for "miscommunication" which is HIS fault (bad business on his part) and me being the bigger better person, I just paid him what was due and gave him ANOTHER TIP. So I picked up the car and it was very dusty, that's ok understandable but I decide to give it a wash and I see a deep scratch on the trunk area. This is where I got mad and just couldn't believe it. I messaged him about it with pictures and asked him politely if he knew what happened here cause those scratches weren't there before. He said "Honestly I can't say where they came from or if they were there before but as you can tell I didn't really touch or wipe down your car" I told him I had proof of my car not having those scratches when I delivered the car to him. He said "Like I said I don't know where they would have come from and If I did know trust me I would have said something". At this point I knew he wasn't going to try and fix this after dealing with a headache already with his miscommunication! He didn't offer to make anything right on his end not even pay for a detail guy to try and remove those scratches! He just stopped replying to me. Jay word of advice bro get more professional on your line of work. Communicate WAY better to your customers and have a template walk around of a vehicle when they arrive and are in YOUR supervision!

Great work, professional, honest people. Took my older Toyota here and was able to fix the problem it was having in a short time.

Jeremy is very knowledgeable about cars and was very thorough in checking to see what could be wrong with my car.

I have taken my vehicle to Allstar two times now for the last services it needed, and I am happy…read morethat I have. As many can likely relate, I have struggled to find good mechanics who are also honest and (sadly) respectful toward women. I used to take my car to the Toyota dealership, but not only did my local one disappoint many times, I also wanted to support small businesses, and finally through searching on Yelp, I found Allstar. Mike, the owner, and Julio, the person who last worked on my car, are great! Both times I have taken my car, I have gotten the services the car needed and not been oversold, which I really appreciate. My car is older, so of course, there have been recommendations on things to fix, but Mike and Julio have been honest about what required immediate attention and what can wait a bit longer. This has not been the case at other places. Since I have only been here twice, I don't have much more to add, but I'll update this as needed.

IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR CAR AND YOUR TIME DO NOT GO HERE !! I took my car in for a simple oil pan…read morereplacement and engine mounts. They failed to properly seal the oil pan twice and I had to take my car back 3 times! the second time they had used glue to seal the oil pan making a huge mess and voiding my warranty. Not only did it take them 3 attempts to finally reaper the oil pan they also over filled my engine oil by 2 and half quarts and the e fine mounts had to be replaced "again" cause it was quite obvious they never changed in the first place but charged me for it. Now my entire front suspension is compromised either due to them tampering or just the fact they had to drop my front suspension 3 times. Also their main tech isn't ASE certified and is just a "helper " AVOID THIS CHOP SHOP !!
